 Sounds like Miroku may have deliberatly brought that topic up with Kagome to see if Sesshomaru's hearing has improved any since the "adjustments" were made to his band.

Just decided to review to let you know that I am really enjoying the story so far and I like where it's going. It's much different from other fanfics I've read and I appreciate the originality in it. It has just the right mix of humor, conflict, and suspense that keeps me reading till I've finished (as I'm sure my partner in my psychology class project could tell you ^.^') I enjoy your writing style and look forward to reading the upcoming chapters. They can't come soon enough! Keep up the awesome work.

I love hot fudge brownie sundaes. I had a giant one right in front of me when I saw this updated, and I just wanted to let you know it was forgotten and melted while I read your story. Now that just proves how much I adore and love this story.

I take a day of medical errands for both my mother and I, sleep for a day and a half and look what I missed!!! Somehow I knew Miroku was more than just Kagome's perv of a boss and Sango's guy who habors no prejudice. Looks like Miroku better do some mighty good convincing that his motives toward Kagome are totally plantonic and of friendship only or Sesshoumaru might blow another casket and teach our lovable lech a lesson he'll never forget.  JEN

Hi, I've been reading your story and keeping up and thankful that you are dedicated to updating!  Thanks!  I want to tell you I'm intrigued your story has me feeling may different things along with your characters.  I hope that made sence?  Your story is very unique it's refreshing to read something so different!  I don't review much but I had to I am very much loving your story!  I feel bad about the clear racism how stupid racism is and how it feels to have it thrown at you.  You are writing it very well and very real.  I wonder if we lived amoung different humaniod species if we would behave equal or as enemies putting one below the other insead of accepting each for who or what we are, to bad some people still don't get it..  Each chapter leaves me hanging on for more, you are putting a lot into your story and it shows you should be very proud of this piece and I hope that you see it through to the end it would be ashamed to find it abandon and left undone, as long as you write I will read!

I totally understand Sessh!  His behavoir is perfect, I believe in this situation he would behave as such, you nailed him for the time and situation, excellent!

Kagome's break down about her fears of being found out for what she is, suite her perfectly.  I believe she would rather die than have to go through that, I almost cried.  Seeing, reading Sessh nearly being poisioned was  heartwretching, you wrote that so well, it would was hard to see such a strong being, being brought to his knees laying in his own vomit, excellent I wanted to reach down and help him myself.  When he saved Kagome and she was in tears for his safty pushing him out of the house and him keeping to his honorable nature I could see it and felt the whole thing I felt bad for him I know it was hard for him to leave going against all he believed and Kagome true to her character caring only about other before herself.  Excellent.

My fav Kagome/Inu scene, when he kissed Kagome to hide her from the department woman or the probabtion officer that came to see Sessh that was kinda funny when she yelled it was like kissing her brother and it was kinda sweet as well.  I like their relationship it's fun.

Miroku is a bit of a mystery he is also very true to his character, you are very good with the characters I love your version of them.  Now I have a buring question about him, Is he ahead of some movement or something?  The way he is behaving from the beginning tells me he is, hinting to Sessh that all human are not predjust and don't believe in the horrid treatment of demons, and trying to tell both him and Kagome to trust him in not so many words.  What is up with him?  He's hiding something dangerous, does he also have holy powers?   I want you to answer than I dont'  I want to find out as I read I don't want to be spoiled but the other impatient part wants to konw!

Koga is sweet and I like his gentle protectiveness of Kagome at the office.

I love the pace that Sessh and Kagomes relationship is going, well keep up the excellent work, I can't wait for more I am so loving this story!!!!!  I'm in love with your version of the characters.  I don't review usually until well into a story I want to give it a chance and a worthy review!   I don't flame and I dont' grade for spelling and grammar, I read for content, plot and if it holds my interest.  As long as it's readable.  Your story is AWESOME< YOU ARE AWESOME!  Until next time Write on!

Poor Miroku, just trying to help. I can't wait until Sess and Kags finally see each other again, it will be a very interesting reunion to say the least. 

I am very excited to have read your story. It is very well written, the plot is great, as well as the characters. I am loving the originality of this fic. For this is still a proud Sess only in the vestiges of prejudice, powerlessness, and with nothing to his name. The only 'inconvinience' shall I say I have on the fic is the fact that though we're in ch.22, Sess & Kagome are still analyzing their feelings for one another. My inner reader howls with how long the cruelties are continuing -and the emerging relationship- but the author side of me claps for you.

Frankly I am torn. Although they -both sides -the reader & the author- have one thing in common....they want more.
