I still don't like all the secrecy with Kagome and Sesshoumaru.  I'm suspicious about what Mikaru said and while Kagome and Inuyasha were unconconscious maybe Sesshoumaru was informed and made his 'last stand' even more than what they had planned on it being.  But why keep Kagome in the dark?  They'll have to inform her eventually since when Inuyasha joins her he will tell her what he believes he witnessed.  I don't feel completely happy with the way things went down but I'm withholding judgment until all the facts are laid out.

Oh!  I forgot to tell you that I feel so bad for Inuyasha.  It's so sad.  I hope he's going to be alright.  *sniffle*

I'm curious to know how sesshomaru is doing and why shippo (i suppose it's him) is here for?

will she know that sesshomaru isn't with the department? hope so. She looked as if she was taking the ideas of sesshomaru at the hands of the department rather well, i think but it's probably a mirage and will disappear soon. it might not have been in their plan either but I hope that they will tell them that the other is somewhere else safe, doing the same training, it might just motive them more. sesshomaru might go balistic if his beast realize that she wasn't at his side anymore, for real.

I was so excited to see that you updated again today!!!  Way to go, Kagome! I am soooo glad that she got to slap Miroku around for a bit! I feel so bad for Inuyasha! And what does Mikaru know? What happened to Sesshoumaru?!? I'm very interested to see what role Shippou is going to have in this story.

Sesshoumaru found and accessed his ball of light he used to disappear into. EXCELLENT!!!! This whole chapter was filled with everything one would want in such an amazing story. You've done a totally phenominal job making the whole situation absolutely believable. Even InuYasha thought his brother was dead. FANTASTIC!!!! I could go on and on about how thrilled I am over this chapter but DANG my Lady, you did it GOOD!!!!

Hopefully, Miroku and the organization he works with can find a way for InuYasha to join them and InuYasha can just move away from the area and everyone would understand his leaving because of the grief he experienced seeing his only family member killed for no good reason. He, too, could be given training to control his power and his temper (there's little anyone can can do about his colorful language)  so he can join his brother and Kagome. I can't see them all being separated but then I'm not telling the story.

Woo Hoo! I'm so glad that Sesshoumaru got some revenge against the Department! He's not really dead, is he? I hope that Kagome slaps Miroku one good time! I like his character in this story, but the way he has handled the 'damage control' of their relationship just stinks. I'd be furious if I was Kagome, even if I understood the intentions. Another great chapter! :)

Wow! What a chaper... but I think I speak for everyone that if you really killed off Sess, no place will be safe from our vengance.  Great Story.

I still think they must include InuYasha in their plan. It is just unfair for him to stay behind, abandoned. And now that he thinks that he is the last of his clan...

He might not be a full, but I hope that, at one time or another, they will include him in their plans. It is just so unfair and I'm not really sure that he can survive or not do something stupid.

Miroku seemed fairly calm so he can't be dead...but at the same time, he had left before came back to his senses. Did they planned this to make the department believe that Sess is dead while they took him with them?

Knocked this one out of the park!   I almost believe that Seshoumaru is gone. Almost. But then again, I will have to read to find out thr fates. Though, do believe that a pissed Kagome is a much bigger threat than a pissed Sesshoumaru.
