I know others may find this scenario wrong and hateful, I'm sure, but I can honestly see Sesshoumaru doing something like this. I can't say I'm content with this but it DOES keep him in character, even if he and Kagome shared something different during that 24 hour sexcapade.

Sesshoumaru is using logic as well as rational judgement. They both live in a world that doesn't accept the species, let alone a union between the species. It's worse than the racism between color at this point. Look at how long racism of color took to gain acceptance and even today, there's still predudice. I think he's trying to save her the trouble that will come because of this and being in a relationship can become strained with the amount of time he will be required to work.

I do think that Sessh isn't thinking this through enough though. The purpose of them both getting the training was so they can control their power when their together, among the obvious reasons Miroku and the Organization wants to train them for. He's not considering Kagome just giving up or the fate of InuYasha in all of this. Sessh still hasn't realized that these flashes of memory and intense emotions aren't just his alone either. He's connected to Kagome and he's feeling her...  JEN

I know that he doesn't deserve to know that she is pregnant but just to make him pay for his decision I hope that he will know about it quick. he again did something against his every instincts, letting his rational side make rash decisions even worst than before. he is just starting to pay the price.

will miroku know what is in the message? I hope that he will know about the pups before leaving. I hope that he will make sesshomaru's life a real living hell to make him pay too. Gah! I'm so angry at the stupid and stubborn inu!

The pups will need him to survive but I'm not sure that kagome will accept him anywhere near her anymore after what he has done again. I feel like he is experiencing what she is feeling. Sesshomaru will need someone again to open his eyes. his friend who is always with him could do that. After all, the youkai had realize that just fighting isn't enough. You need people around you, other than just camarades.

he might as well have lost the last member of his pack with what he has done because I don't think that inuyasha will accept his decision. I would love to see inuyasha write a message to sesshomaru saying that he doesn't want to ever see him again and that he will take care of the pups and kagome by himself so he shouldn't ever try to contact her or him in the future.

Oh hell!!!!!  That BASTARD!!!!!!!  Why did he have to make such a stupid, stupid, stupid decision?  He doesn't deserve Kagome or the pups and when he eventually realizes the mistake he made, he needs to suffer, suffer, and suffer for it.  She better not easily forgive him, either.  I know I would not if it were me and it seems she's in that frame of mind right now along with a  numbing shock.  Inuyasha is going to be so very pissed at him when he learns the truth.  I don't blame him if he wants nothing more to do with his brother. 

Maybe the confusing things happening to Sesshoumaru right now is his beast coming out while he sleeps to do things to deliberately cause him confusion as a way of getting even with him for making such an asinine decision.

Argh!!!  What a shocking twist the story has taken and just when others were envying the strong love and bond between Sesshoumaru and Kagome.  Well, he just went and showed how weak he really was when it comes to love and commitment.

I don't think I'm going to write anything else because I'm too upset and angry.

oh. my. God. that was dreadfully cruel! couldn't you be just a tad cliche, just a tad? why not a letter that said, 'oh, i love you and always will, i hope you except this proposal to be with me forever sap sap' and maybe even a 'i hope your happy your pregnant!' somewhere in there... but no. it has to be a boo hoo letter. please update and add the smiles soon, i still love this story with my all. That's so wrong! I'm so upset with Sesshoumaru! I hope she writes him a letter that will hurt him as much as he hurt her! And he definitely doesn't deserve to know about the pups! What a jerk! I guess Kagome doesn't need to do all of the training anymore ... since the main point was so that they could control their energies enough to mate. I wonder how Miroku will react when he finds out the letter wasn't a 'love letter' like he believes? I don't believe Inuyasha will be all that surprised by it. Sweet Zombie Jesus.  Poor Kagome!  She gets two pieces of big news in one day, something's gotta give!  I have a theory though involving the letter, but I'll keep it to myself.  Am rather curious though if I am right ;)

hm...just thought about something...can it be that kagomes anger *dissapeared* and was somehow transfered to sesshou, so he had to try to vent it,,,seems possible when they really have a connection, sigh but that does not bode well for the time to come when sesshou really wants to seperate himself from kagome...i'm sure he's going to be quite funny to be around when *he* starts getting mood swings *lol*

Holy crap!  Sesshoumaru is such an idiot!  I want to smash his head into a wall.  Kagome is strong though and I hope she gets to kick his ass for being such a prick.  Also, I hope he can ferret out who the moles are in the organization.  I hope no one has poisoned him.  That would be terrible.  Maybe it's just from being cut off from Kagome?  If it is, he deserves it.  *growls*  I have to wonder if he'll find out about the pups or if Kagome will be able to keep that from him.  He doesn't deserve to know.  *huff*

This story is one of my favourite out of all your stories. I like the closeness between Kagome and Inu and hope that the relationship between Kikyou and Inuyasha won´t be the kind of "love at first sight". Don´t get me wrong, I like Kikyou more than Sango or Rin but I don´t believe in fast going relationships. You can´t really love someone if you don´t know them, everything else is just attraction. The pregnancy was unexpected, poor Kagome. No wonder she was such a bitch. I´m also glad that Sango has not such a big role, sorry but I´m really tired of her always being Kagome´s best friend; it´s getting old really fast. Kikyou and Kagura are so much more interesting.

You know, if you really think about it, after 24 hours it would have been a miracle that she "didn't" get pregnant. I just feel bad for Miroku since he's the one that's most probably going to have to break the news to Sessh. Do continue!

I think its sad that everyone thinks that Sesshoumaru won't approve. I mean no one thought he would approve of Kagome including Kagome and Sesshoumaru so whose to say anything bout his kids. I hope that Inuyasha helps take care of everyone though (Kagome, pups, Shippou, and Kikyou). looking forward to see what other twists and bumps are on the road to happiness. til next time...

This chapter was worth the wait. I knew as soon as he put his nose close to her neck and hair and took that 'calming' sniff they always do and he tensed that she was pregnant. I agree with InuYasha, this just complicated the whole situation almost ten fold. One does NOT stand between an InuYoukai and his pregnant woman.

Not only is Sesshoumaru not going to be doing a happy dance but isn't Miroku still there talking with Kikyou? Let's just make his day that much more intense by putting the proverbial icing on the cake with a cherry on top! You know they HAVE to tell Miroku and "he ain't gonna be no happy camper" after that news.
