Kagome, the ultimate Orkin Man!!  I am so glad she fried that overgrown bug all by herself!  Now, if only Sesshoumaru would sweep her away from all the misery!

You cannot imagine how terribly upset these last few chapters have made me. I've only ever read one other writer's fics that were able to make me feel this distressed. Have you ever read any of Rinseternalsoul's work? She does such thorough research when she's writing these horrific evils of the past. Though the scenes are so horrifying and sadistic, you just can't stop reading what will happen next, all the while praying that the torture will stop and the happy ending will come...but, it's not always like that. There were't always happy endings during these times, mostly never.

These latest chapters have such intensity using real historic torture methods and devices used to extract information while phsyically and emotionally breaking Kagome down and still she hangs on using the memories of the only people she loves for strength to live. Her power is a fickle thing right now. Having no need to use them and being so far from the Shikon Jewel she's rather blessed that they have surfaced at all, I'm guessing.

Anyway, though this was extremely hard to read, you have done a phenominal job bringing intense drama and angst into this. Though I normally do not condone murder, I hope than Kumano and his cohorts die an angonizingly slow death by Sesshoumaru.  JEN
