Fool

He broke her trust.

Her whole body ached with pain. Metal chains wrapped around her limps. Blood and tears filled the dark cell. Cuts, bites, whip scars and bruises stained her once beautiful porcelain skin. Her clothes were now but shreds. Her hair was messy like a mop that was used for months. It was no longer smooth and silky like it was a few days ago because her own blood hardened it. Her blue eyes were dull and exhausted. Her body was in deep pain but not as mentally as she was.

"Why? Why... You promised me you wouldn't hurt me. How could you not believe your first mate?" she whispered. Her voice was emotionless. She knew she wasn't going to last long. Her heart was slowing slowly. She closed her eyes and just waited until everything stopped. She wanted it to end as fast as possible. Her pain was unbearable.

"Why, Sesshomaru-sama?" her voice died and her body went numb. The mark on her neck, a moon, slowly vanished along with her soul.

His long sublime silver hair blew with the air as he walked to the dungeon. His tall and muscular figure made maids stop and stare. He was dangerously handsome. The maids were starting to drool at his glorious sight. He shot the women cold stares and they retreated back to their chores.

His footsteps were getting faster. How could he have been so stupid? How could he ever think she would do that? He was fool. Yes, he Sesshomaru, Lord of the west was a fool.

FLASHBACK

"Sesshomaru-sama! I swear I didn't put poison in her tea! I could and would never!" His beautiful human mate pleaded to him. Yes, Kagome was a human. He never thought he would mate with a human but because of his beast; he had taken her during the mating season. She was his first mate. His second one was a tigress demon. She was more beautiful than Kagome.

His human mate's body was pretty, for a human that is. Her body had an hourglass shape. She had curves in the nice places but Tsukiko, his second mate, had deeper curves. Tsukiko had fuller lips than Kagome. Her legs were longer than hers. Her red eyes were more seductive than Kagome's innocent blue orbs. Her voice was deeper and smothers while Kagome had a playful and nice voice. Tsukiko's blond hair was long and straight, Kagome's hair was black and wavy.

"You human dare lie to me? This Sesshomaru is not a fool!" He hissed.

"Please Sesshomaru-sama! Believe me!" She tugged his sleeves but he pushed her on the floor while his other mate lay on the bed coughing from the poison.

"This Sesshomaru does not believe you. You are the one in charge of our nutrition." Kagome turned to see Tsukiko smirk. The human gasped at this sight and hugged her mate.

"Sesshomaru-sama please! She planned this!" a very large hand slapped her face. A bruised immediately formed on her face. Tears welled up her blue orbs.

"You shall be punished."

END FLASHBACK

When he opened the cell, his heart clenched painfully. There was his first and only mate tied up bleeding and not breathing. His footsteps were wobbly. His stopped breathing himself. His beast was hitting his mental cage. It was going crazy. How could he allow this to happen? Her beautiful lively skin was white. Her soft pink lips were now purple. MATE DYING! It screamed to him. His hands slowly made its way to her face and cupped her delicate cheeks that were now cold. Her mark disappeared. For the first time in his life, Sesshomaru was scared and mad at himself.

The scene was horrible. He only wanted to shut his eyes closed and wished he had never done that. Tenseiga couldn't help because he had already revived her once when she had died by Naraku hands. His sword could only revive once and only once.

"Kagome..." He backed away from her and drew his sword and sliced the chains. Once they were cut, her body fell motionlessly forward. Her hair and shredded clothes moved with the sudden pressure.

He took her in his strong arms and lifted her weightless body. He had left her starved for the three days that she remained in the cell.

He ran. He ran to the healer in his palace. People smelled a heavy scent of blood. When Sesshomaru passed by the demons, they could only see white blur and red. They were curious of what was happening. Some were worried and some were excited.

The taiyoukai kicked the door open.

"Heal her now!" Sesshomaru's beast had finally taken over. The healer turned around and gasped at the sight.

"What have you done Sesshomaru-sama!"
