They would search with spade and pick, following the dream. Along any river they may come near. Pirates from all over the globe would be caught in the spell of the old stories; handed down from generation to generation. What force has sent so many forth with tools in hand and spines tingle to probe the margins of Connecticut's tidal waters? What else but the lure of buried treasure, the legacy of the legend of Captain. Higurashi Kid and his fabulous pirate hoard.
Even though that the code of a ship was put'-"but Father what is the code really? .....for a.... typical pirate ship" a young girl said in a questionable but cute voice.
"Well hold on Kagome I was getting to that" he started again "Now.... The Code of Conduct on a Pirate Ship was
• Every man shall obey civil Command; the Captain shall have one full share and a half in all Prizes; the Master, Carpenter, Boatswain and Gunner shall have one Share and quarter.
• If any man shall offer to run away, or keep any Secret from the Company, he shall be marooned with one Bottle of Powder, one Bottle of Water, one small Arm and shot.
• If any Many shall steel any Thing in the Company, or game, to the Value of a Piece of Eight, he shall be marooned or shot.
• If at any Time we should meet another Marrooner (that is Pyrate) that Man that shall sign his Articles without the Consent of Their Company, shall suffer such Punishment as the Captain And Company shall think fit.
• That Man that shall strike another whilst these Articles are in force, shall receive Mose's Law (that is 40 stripes lacking one) on the bare Back.
• That Man that shall snap his Arms, or smoak Tobacco in the Hold, without a cap to his Pipe, or carry a Candle lighted without a Lanthorn, shall suffer the same Punishment as in the former Article.
• That Man that shall snap his Arms, or smoak Tobacco in the Hold, without a cap to his Pipe, or carry a Candle lighted without a Lanthorn, shall suffer the same Punishment as in the former Article.
• That Man that shall not keep his Arms clean, fit for an Engagement, or neglect his Business, shall be cut off from his Share, and suffer such other Punishment as the Captain and the Company shall think fit.
• If any Man shall lose a Joint in time of an Engagement he shall have 400 pieces of Eight; if a limb 800.
• If at any time you meet with a prudent Woman, that Man that offers to meddle with her, without her Consent, shall suffer present Death.
(This is the real code I got it off of http://www.piratesinfo.com/detail/detail.php?article_id=52)
But even if we had these codes.....some captains don't follow them. These codes we have as pirates. We living a pirate life as a pirate were a very hazardous one prone to serious injury and even death. Besides death, a pirate's worst fear was becoming disabled. If an injured pirate survived an amputation, and received proper medical attention he would live. But a life as a pirate is more of the adventure of it, and living a life as a free man."
Said a man; telling his little 9 year old daughter about the world of the pirates.
The man had black hair that went to his lower part of his neck. And dark blue eyes that shined with love for his young daughter and the only person left that he has of his family besides his older son Souta who has his own ship as a Pirate; following his father's foot steps, to be the king of the Pirate's.
He's strong and it felt save for the girl to be in. It was her favorite place to be, in her fathers warm and welcoming arms. He was her life and best friend, and had a smile just for her.
Young Kagome was getting ready to go to bed that night....but like always she had to get a story in before she went to the dream world.
"Father....please tell me more......of the life it can be" she said getting all excited over the story.
"Just wait Kagome it will- "Captain there's a storm blowing a head.....we need your help!!!" the father, also known as the captain looked up at the sailor and back down at his daughter.
"Kagome I want you to go up to the wheel and help Al alright go to him....and tell him to turn the ship west alright. Take Sea with you ok can you do that for me?" He asked and with a nod from Kagome they both went up to the forecastle deck. And right away Kagome along with her 1 month old wolf pup, had ran up to the quarter deck of the ship to tell All to turn the wheel west as she was told.
The sea hit the large ship hard with each wave as they tried to turn the ship.
"Lower the sails down" yelled the Captain as he tide the cannons down so no one would get hurt and so the won't loss them. The ship was gaining water fast and it didn't help that there was another ship up a head that had black sails.
It gave Kagome a bad feeling as she stared at the ship. "Father there's a ship coming up in view!" yelled Kagome as she got ready to do an order.
And right then the ship was attacked all of the men fall to the ground and another wave hit the ship and it knocked it over to its side. The ship was in pieces all over the waves of water. And the only boat from the Ship that was all in tack only held one little black 1 month old wolf pup.....who was out of it in a heart beat when he saw his mistress about to drown.
*Black out*
The gentle waves moved Kagome's body around as she began to sink in. but was suddenly lifted up above the waters edge. Coming out of her black out; she saw Sea holding her up by her jacket, then Kagome's world fall back into being unconscious.

Waking up from her sleep Kagome looked around, to find herself on the cool beach. Looking up she stared at the millions upon millions of stars that shinned down on her. 'What happened to me...........all I remember was telling father...oh no ..."FATHER" Kagome got up so fast she lost her balance and fall over on her side......not noticing a pain in her side. Kagome shouted again "FATHER......FATHER WHERE ARE YOU.......FATHER...FA...ther" she began to cry out into the woods where she now found herself in. Kagome didn't know where she was....and she felt alone and scared. She felt weak for not being strong and showing tears.... For a pirate is taught not to show this.
But then she didn't feel so alone when she saw a low like creature walking up to her person. Taking a better look she found that it was Sea.
"SEA!!!! Come here boy come here" she said in a happy and yet sad voice. "Oh Sea I'm so happy you're here" Kagome gave her wolf pup friend a big hug of thanks..........Kagome looked at Sea in his beautiful golden eyes and said "good boy"

Back at the beach Sea and Kagome laid on the cool sand thinking on what to do. And it came to her; it came like a light switch. They had to find Her older brother Souta, but the last time she heard from him was on an island in the Caribbean and the worst thing was that she had no way to get there and didn't even know where she was. What was a poor 9 year old girl to do?
Getting mad over thinking to much Kagome began to sing.... And sing she did her very favorite song.
"Yo Ho, Yo Ho! A pirate's life for me"
Little Kagome sang in a slow and sweet voices. "We pillage, we plunder, we rifle and loot. Drink up me 'earties, Yo Ho! We kidnap and ravage and don't give a hoot Drink up me 'earties .
Yo Ho, Yo Ho! A pirate's life for me.
We extort, we pilfer, we filch and sack Drink up me 'earties, Yo Ho!. Maraud and embezzle and even hijack Drink up me 'earties, Yo Ho!
Yo Ho, Yo Ho! A pirate's life for me Yo Ho, Yo Ho! A pirate's life for me
We kindle and char, inflame and ignite. Drink up me 'earties, Yo Ho! We burn up the city, we're really a fright Drink up me 'earties, Yo Ho!
Yo Ho, Yo Ho! A pirate's life for me
We're rascals, scoundrels, villans and knaves. Drink up me 'earties, Yo Ho!
We're devils and black sheep, really bad eggs! Drink up me 'earties, Yo Ho!
Yo Ho, Yo Ho! A pirate's life for me.
We're beggars and blighters and ne'er-do-well cads. Drink up me 'earties, Yo Ho!
Aye! But we're loved by our mommies and dads! Drink up me 'earties, Yo Ho!
Yo Ho, Yo Ho! A pirate's life for me.
Yo Ho, Yo Ho! A pirate's life for me.
Yo Ho, Yo Ho! A pirate's life for me.
Yo Ho, Yo Ho! A pirate's life for me.
As Kagome sang the last note she had a feeling that someone was behind her. So turning her head she was met with her older brother Souta.
"Brother" Kagome said in a soft and quite voice.
"Yes; .... Kagome its me..... father can't be with you any more so come with me 'K' and I'll teach you to be the best pirate that there has ever been."
