Kaggies In trouble

Kagome ran through the forest of InuYasha. She just had to get way from him, she'd never give InuYasha the chance to do that to her again.

-Flashback-

InuYasha and his group walked about the woods, close to Kaedae's village. Naraku was suppose to have been spotted over in here somewhere, but it had been four hours, and they were getting no where fast.

"InuYasha, are you sure you know where we are going?" Kagome asks gently touching his shoulder.

InuYasha brushes her off coldly and replies:

"OF COURSE I AM, WENCH!"

"I'm sorry InuYasha, Calm down, It just seems as if we are going around in circles." Kagome says softly trying to calm his-self.

"YES I KNOW WHERE WE ARE GOING, AND I THINK I'VE HAD JUST ABOUT SICK OF YOU!" He says as he back hands her and she flies across the way and hits a tree, a branch scraping her collar bone, drawing faint blood, but still enough for him to smell and get him even more angry as Kagome rushes out of the clearing leaving a furious InuYasha in her midst.

-End Flashback-

Kagome ran as fast as she could through the woods and multiple clearings, she could hear and feel InuYasha behind her. And he was pissed! Once, she looked back and saw he was ten feet away, she also saw that his eyes were pooled with red, not a good thing for Kagome.

(A/N*Poor Kags, she's just about screwed every way you look at it.*)

Kagome turned her head forward just in time as she saw Sesshoumaru's chest as she ran into him.

"Oh, um...Hey!" 'Damn, real smart Kags, now he's gonna think you're a simpering moron.' Her conscious spit out as she fell on the ground.

"What are you running from Miko?" Sesshoumaru says oddly softly.

"I-I-Inu---Yasha." Kagome says choking back unspilled tears.

"Shh...It's alright Kagome." Sesshoumaru says as he gently picks Kagome up off the ground and sets her on a boulder looking at her caringly trying to decide what in the world could have made such a happy girl so sad, and why she would be running away from his pigheaded brother. 'My god, will I never be rid of that impertinent hanyou.' He though as he sensed InuYasha getting nearer, but then he turned his attention to the large mostly black and blue bruise on her cheek.

(A/N*Aw Poor Kaggie*)

"Kagome?"

"*Sniffles* Yes?"

"What happened...here?" Sesshoumaru asks running a claw along her bruise as he sees her gasp in pain he adds sympathetically "Tch Poor Miko."

(A/N*Sesshoumaru's being so caring, wonder what he's got up his sleeve...*winks**)

"I-I-I-InuYasha, H-H-He, he..." Kagome stops recalling the dark memory.

"Did he hit you Kagome?" He asks studying her face for any signs of lying.

"Yes." She says so softly, it is inaudible to human ears, and Sesshoumaru, being a taiyouki, has to struggle to hear it.

Sesshoumaru sighs inwardly as InuYasha chooses that very moment, when he's about three inches away from Kagome, to enter the clearing.

(A/N*Poor Kaggie, can't get a break can you?*)

Kagome takes a deep breath and starts panting heavily. Sesshoumaru takes note of her alarmingly fast heartbeat, and realizes that she is scared of him. No, not scared, she is terrified of her best friend, and former love, she is absolutely petrified at the sight of him. So Sesshoumaru steps in between them to try and prevent Kagome from having a heart attack.

(A./N. We wouldn't want that to happen to our favorite character now would we, besides, without her there isn't a story anyway.*)

"KAGOME!!!!!!" InuYasha screams.

"Yes InuYasha." Kagome says with her head bowed.

"WHAT IN THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU WERE DOING RUNNING AWAY FROM ME, I THOUGHT I TOLD YOU, NO MATTER WHAT, TO ALWAYS STAY, OTHERWISE IT'LL JUST BE WORSE FOR YOU!" InuYasha yells in a rage.

'Hn...' Sesshoumaru thinks. 'It sounds as if this has happened before, yet the Miko stays with him, interesting.'

"AND..."

"Shut up Half-Breed!" Sesshoumaru says in a particularly venomous tone.

(A/N *That's right, you set him straight fluffy!*)

"Sesshoumaru what do you care? She's a human, a Miko, and a poor one at that, nothing like my Kikyou." And at this Sesshoumaru can smell the tears that have finally worked their way free on Kagome.

"She just a worthless Shard-Detector." InuYasha finishes looking at Kagome expectantly. "Come on Kagome, let's go."

Kagome sits there unmoving, not saying anything, not doing anything, barely breathing. Sesshoumaru looks at her in worry. 'Well this can't be good.'

"Kagome, you know I don't like to repeat myself." InuYasha says sternly walking over to her and striking her across the face. "I said come on."

-Sesshoumaru's POV-

He watched his brother go over to Kagome as casually as day, and strike her across the face, the strike was so hard, it caused Kagome to fall to the ground. 'What the hell is wrong with my half-brother, the moron!' Sesshoumaru thought before saying.

"What the hell is wrong with you? You don't just hit women for no reason. In fact, you don't hit them at all! She's not some kind of property for you to cart around, and she doesn't belong to you since I see no mark on her shoulder, and I can't for the life of me understand why you would do such a thing you moronic half-breed, you're just as bad as Naraku." Sesshoumaru finishes, very pissed by the time he gets done saying this.

(A/N*So the man of no words, goes off, wow! He does have a temper, who knew? Oh that's right, I did.*)

-End Sesshoumaru's POV-

"What, what, what do you know you bastard!" InuYasha says unsheathing Tetsusaiga, however, it won't transform, and he tries figure out what happened, then he sees Kagome chanting something. "What the hell'd you do to my sword!?!"

"I put a hex on it."

"WHAT? HOW IN THE HELL CAN YOU DO THAT, YOUR A HORRIBLE MIKO, CAN'T EVEN PROTECT YOURSELF!"

"If you would even notice me InuYasha you would notice that my Miko powers have grown, and I've been making protection fields for a month in battle, you just don't notice because your so busy nonsensically swinging that sword of yours around. And what I did, unless I'm happy, your sword won't transform, and if you hurt me, well something nasty will happen to you." Kagome says getting off the ground with some difficulty.

(A/N Go Kaggie for finally standing up to the bastard!* *sticks tongue out a InuYasha.*)

"YOU BITCH! HOW DARE YOU SAY THAT TO ME, I'LL CUT YOUR HEAD OFF, I DON'T NEED IT FULLY TRANSFORMED TO DO THAT!"

"No you won't." Kagome says, eyes falling to the ground.

"HELL I WON'T!" InuYasha says coming towards her.

"Ververtai." Kagome says and InuYasha is trapped inside a purification bubble, Kagome struggles to hold InuYasha in it, when he finally passes out and she releases the energy gently floating an unconscious InuYasha onto the ground. Kagome starts to fall backwards and pass out when Sesshoumaru catches her, she lovingly smiles up at him, and passes out anyway, due to the energy taken from her by the hex and purification bubble she had performed.

-Sesshoumaru's POV-

She's so beautiful when she's sleeping. Well, I best take her back to my castle so she'll be safe from him, and I can question her alone. 'Among other things.' His conscious decided to put in.

'Did I ask you?'

'No, just figured I say what your going to do anyway.'

'Go away.'

'Fine.' His conscious said as it lurked back into the dark corner of his mind.

"Soon you shall be safe Kagome, soon." He says taking off at incredible speed to his castle.

-End Sesshoumaru's POV-

Okay, first chapter's up, and this is my first Sess/Kags fanfic, so don't hurt me.

Sesshoumaru: Why did you make me so............... "Nice"

Diana: Because I felt like it.

Sesshoumaru: I will not stand for this.

Diana: Shut up or I'll write her to be in love with Naraku.

Sesshoumaru: I can take a hint, you don't have to be sooooo evil.

Diana: Sorry its' what I do best. *evil laughs*
