Yes! Kagome is starting to mature and accept things herself! I'm coming straight back to this fic whenever I get disgusted with the mediocrity of the unbudging personalities that I find sometimes in othe fics. The importance of scent and not embracing everyone is sight is something that has always puzzled me about her in other stories. Very un-Japanese, even for her.

You never cease to amaze me. I've become cynical from other fics. Not only is Kagome forwarned about her friends coming and their intentions, but she's even telling Sess she's going instead of sneaking away! I bow down before the overwhelming, sorely missed, logic/sense of it all! And the idea of the kimono pattern was a stroke of genius! Wonderful!

Bald truth has become rather foreign to her. She's used to people holding back or putting her off. So many stories, mistakes are made when true feelings are not expressed. It is Sess' willingness to be truthful with her that will truly defeat any arguments 'Yasha or anyone will bring against their relationship. The fact that Sess has admitted that his wish to be with her is not without motive only serves to give his words more power.

I still look forward to generations of Inu that aren't repressed by human powers. Humans may be more numerous, but they haven't done a very good job with their planetary stewardship. By all means, have youkai who might get a nasty itch from holy powers. They can discipline each other.

That was great and I can't find out how they will react when they find out she is thinking about mating him.
