Hey, great first chapter!! I love how you switch from perspective to perspective-- very suspenseful!

As for the line break, you don't necessarily have to do a 'line break' with internet mumb-jumbo, you can just pick a symbol that you like and type it to about midscreen. For example, in my stories, I use the period. A break in my stories looks like:
................................

It seems to work pretty well (and you don't have to go through the hassle of typing anything special into the computer.

Anyways, I am looking forward to chapter 2-- onwards and upwards.

Well, I finally caught up with the story(RL so interferes lately), and I must say it is excellent! Please update it soon! In the beginning of the story, you mentioned that this was drawn from life. . .so I was wondering did the medical condition come out as successful as it did in the story? Or will Rin have a set-back? When and how are Kag and Sess going to be at least hinting to the other that they are beginning to care? Although I do like the small strain of insecurity in Sess! btw, what are the ages of the principle characters? Anyway, keep it up, and update soon!

After reading the first 3 chapters, there were a few things that stuck out in my mind. Firstly, I like the way you opened with a tragedy, throwing our characters together, as well as laving the door open for complicated questions, distraught Sess (mmm, my favorite), and logical reasons for K & S to be in near constant contact. The use of K as a child prodigy wasn't original, but from what I saw it seems to have a good ground work and has the potential to play out nicely.

The onyl thing that really irked me, was the shopping list type of detail given K's accessories, clothing, and apartment. I know that detail is important, but a few well chosen words about the luxury of a room, or the cozy sanctuary of a bed is much more appealing for me as a reader than something which quite honestly read a bit like those "so you want to..." advert lists on Amazon. I had to stop reading because I actually missed plot points because I was just skimming the list sections.

I hope that you do continue to write and to enjoy it, as well as continue to refine you technique.
