Owl is a talented young lady. I was 100% sincere in my review for her poem.

Keep in mind, my dad is a published poet... so my standards tend to be REALLY high. For a young girl, she did damn well. Enroll that kid in a writing class. STAT.

What??? Well I will ignore the butt-ugly thing since we know it isn't true... lol. I think this was so well written for her age. I honestly hope that seeing all these reviews will help boost her confidence.

Sesshomaru....butt-ugly? Is that even possible? lol That's like sacrilege! xDD

This was very good for a 12 year old. Definitely worth the read. (I'll forgive her for the butt-ugly comment!)

It's tough to be 12 years old. You have so little control over your own life at that age. And then there are all those people who tell young people "these are the best years of your life". Makes you wonder what planet they grew up on. Owl must be a very thougtful and talented person. I'm guessing her poem was written in honor of Mother's Day. You should be very proud of her.

I have a huge favor to ask.I think most of you know my daughter, who I call Owl online.Well, Owl has written a poem based on how InuYasha feels about his mother's tears. She hasn't gotten any reviews for it. We are trying so hard to encourage her and give her flagging self esteem a much needed boost.

Please be very kind. She showed a teacher at school who loved it but some of her classmates saw it (yeah the same one who have been tormenting her all year.) and told her it was stupid garbage.
Please help out a young lady who really needs some encouragement and support. She has been so depressed about everything lately. At times she frightens me she is so sad. (Yes, She is seeing her school counsulor<sp?>)
Oh and for you that don't know, Owl will be turning 12 May 19. We are having the main party for her on the 23 and a little family celebration on the 19.
anyway if you ladies (and few gentlemen) could review her poem I would be eternally grateful.

P.S The latest setback to going home, we cant find beds, chairs and mattresses we can afford. We tried to clean the others but they are some badly damaged that Owl goes into a instant asthma attack if she goes near them.

Keep us in prayers. We are still looking. For some reason there are either none to be found or so expensive that I'm sure the springs are gold plated. LOL

Wanted to let you know that Owl wrote the reply poem from InuYasha's mother. I was hard pressed to keep from crying when I read it.

P.S. Owl will be leaving elementary school behind next week and in the fall be embarking on the new, slightly scary world of junior high. Mom is having a hard time. she is growing up too damn fast!
Oh before I forget we signed her up for a new program that will help with college expenses when she graduates high school. All she has to do is not get any felonies, matain at least a 2.0 GPA and apply for student aid.
She is very excited that something will be there to help her go to college.
