I miss twiknham too! And she sure was an integral part. She also seemed very dedicated. I remember having a problem with "highlighting" fanart and she was very quick to respond to the issue. Not to mention she was the one who gave me my very first karma for trying to help out someone else with their fanart posting problem. I owe it to her for also making me feel so very welcomed here at Dokuga! Thank You twiknham for everything you have done!!!

I miss twiknham!

She was not flashy on this site, but she was an integral part of it.

Her wit and writings were very clever and many of her responses to Nobody's Challenges each week had me laughing so hard!

She worked diligently alongside Nobody to keep Dokuga from decline during Miss K's prolonged absence and now has the opportunity to work on her house.

Last I heard, she was removing tile from walls!

She has assured me she will continue to write, but the house has to 'move forward'!

She loves all her readers and reviewers, and thanks you all for your support while she was here.

bye twik, miss you...

Twik dealt with Dokuga's greatest enemy:

Database Opossum.

At no less than 159 individual tables and 267,158 records, it's a monster to deal with and can be very sensitive. Most people don't even think about the things that make Dokuga work, but behind the site, there's this huge database where pretty much everything is stored.

Without Twik's work to keep everything going, we wouldn't have stories, reviews, profiles, forum posts...she helped take care of pretty much everything that makes our site what it is.

It can be very hard work, it's very behind-the-scenes, and it's easy to spend hours trying to get an understanding of how everything works. I don't know if it's anything like writing, but all the encouragement the community offers makes a huge difference in most areas, except the ones that are less noticeable.

Twik did a very hard job very well, and because of that work, Dokuga is still here.

Twik always had the wickedest sense of humor in chat and aroused some mighty fine debates that lasted long into the evening. Those days I will remember fondly as we all playfully went for each other's throats over some topic she brought to mind.

Bye, Twik! You'll be missed...
