It's nice to meet everyone.
It would seem that my browser erased everything that I just wrote (which was a goodly 5 paragraphs) in my "About Me" profile section. Being bitter about that for the moment, I'll hold off on rewriting it all until I don't want to smash my monitor into a wall...
Meanwhile, I did want to shout out a hello so that I could start getting to know some of the active people on the site. I did join to make friends, after all, so I think this is prudent. Despite my own insecurities and shyness, I wanted to try to find people who enjoy my favorite fandoms too.
I've been a lurker on FF.net for a very very very long time, and I have to say that it's nothing like what I've seen of this website in the past few days. There is a feeling of camaraderie that isn't present there. I'm glad to have found this place, and it's my hope that I'll be able to fit in despite being a little socially impaired.
I'm a bookworm and an experienced beta reader, though at the moment my schedule won't let me do too much beta-ing since I've got a lot going on. However, if anyone needs a quick runthrough of their work, I can help
