I love the development of this story! I'm hoping Inuyasha starts to notice and let's her go...but he can be thick

I felt so many emotions when I read this chapter. I felt happy and peaceful when Sesshoumaru and Kagome had their moment. I felt pissed off and frustrated with Kagome because of her stubborness and refusal to see what in front of her. I was sad for Sesshoumaru because he for once is the one dealing with one-sided love. Then I was even more pissed off with Kagome. I applaud InuKimi's efforts but I can't help but feel she may have made it worse in this instance.

This story has seriously pushed my emotional limits. I totally feel for Sesshoumaru. I look forward to your next update.

Poor Sesshomaru, I know it will all work eventually but it still had to be very hard to hear that she wouldn't break off her promise to inuyasha. Hang in thrre Sesshomaru you will get together eventually

Omigosh! Exquisite chapter I love the way Inukimi is potrayed, I love her kind yet aloof attitude, she's an amazing and underrated character, and it's unreal the way you happen to portray them so beautifully. Kagomes reaction was classic kagome and I cant wait for more of this beautifully exquisite story!

Well so far this story is showing promise since I first read the first chapter. I am happy at how slowly you are showing the growing feeling between Kagome and Sesshomaru.

 I do not see many good S/K stories portraying sesshy’s mother real well form how she is portrayed in the anime and manga version. This another fiction I found that shows her well developed and original characters from the series.

I don't comment often, but felt compel to.  I love this story and the slow progress you are making in their relationship.  Kagome is slowly, but surely starting to realize that it's more then just respect she holds for Sessh.  I can't wait to read how the rest of this story goes!  Hopefully, because of the changes that Kagome has made - perhaps, there will be a female in court who is drawn to Inuyasha too.  Only time will tell.   Priss. ^^

I have to be honest, I don't leave reviews often. In fact, I'm much more of a lurker than anything else. I'll follow countless stories and read them all the way to the end, and never once read a review. But I just spent the last 4 hours reading your story from beginning to Chapter 18, and I must say wow! I've never seen a story plot quite like this one. I can't wait to see how you will reach the happy ending that everyone expects. I'm immensly curious.

Breathtaking chapter-- there was so much emotion and depth of understanding. There is such a haunting quality in an introspective Kagome. Your characterization of Sesshoumaru is unique in his strength, understanding and vulnerability. Wonderful writing!

You are right. A lot of us have been waiting for this moment and it was well worth it. Inukimi has subtly brought awareness to Kagome and now Kagome is subtly becoming aware that she might feel something for Sesshoumaru (showed by her running away at the end). I sensed that Sesshoumaru was sending Inuyasha away alot for a reason. Makes sense. I enjoyed this chapter very much. Awesome job! Can't wait the next.
