Oh! I'm wondering if Shippous mother is in fact there, or if she passed away sometime ago. I think it was mentioned that when Kagome saw her she only had one tail? And... It occured to me that if Shippou has transformed to look like her, he may only be able to have one tail (tails might be something that they can't increase with illusion as they seem to show status/age?). I'm not sure how he would be supporting himself on his own, but that would answer a few of the suspicions that Sesshoumaru seems to have. Kaede may or may not know and be helping him. Hm.

These are great little drabbles.  I'd love to see Sessh show a bit of possessiveness towards Kagome, with regards to Shippou...I can see that since he already identifies that the Kit has her trust and loyalty...something Sessh doesn't have.
