The Death

Hello all my fellow readers! I know, I shouldn't have written this, but, eh. Oh well!! I don't know what it is, but I seem to have this thing for writing stuff with music! This one is featuring Good Charlotte's, "My Bloody Valentine". I love that song!! It's so sad and twisted, but it has a good beat and is fun to listen to. I love Good Charlotte, almost as much as Linkin Park.....but not quite! Maybe I should stop babbling and write this, huh?

Inuyasha: No duh!

Kagome: Uh....Inuyasha have you read the script?

Naraku: Yes, Inuyasha. Have you read the script? I must say it's the best KC has ever written.

KC: That's not nice Naraku.

Sesshoumaru: For once I agree with Naraku.

The rain splashed along the windows and the thunder rolled across the sky. Breif flashes of lightning lit up the ominious clouds. Outside on a branch of a tree, sat a dark figure looking in on a girl crying on her bed.

* Oh my love,

Please don't cry,

I'll wash my bloody hands and,

We'll start a new life*

Glowing eyes flashed with malevolence as the figure thought back to a few days ago.

He watched as they held hands, and clenched his own. He looked on as the bastard kissed the girl he'd loved for so long. The boy left the raven-haired girl and walked off to class. The girl, Kagome was her name, turned to walk into her classroom. She stopped short when she spotted him and smiled, waving slightly. The figure's eyes widened and an answering smile formed on his lips when he realized he wasn't supposed to show emotion. It would ruin his reputation. So instead, he waved slightly and walked off.

'Yes, I remember that part.....after school......what happened next?'

He stood over the bloodied figure of the boy.

* I ripped out,

His throat,

And called you on the telephone,

To take off,

My disguise,

Just in time to hear you cry*

'No. That was later! What-' His thoughts were cut off as Kagome's sobbing got louder.

*When you,

Mourn the death,

Of your bloody valentine,

The night he died*

'Oh, Kagome. Don't cry for that bastard. If only I could comfort you!' The dark figure moved a little toward the window as if about to enter her room. His eyes flashed and the rain came down harder. A crack of thunder followed by a lightning bolt lit the sky.

* You mourned the death,

Of your bloody valentine,

One last time, singing,

Oh my love,

Please don't cry,

I'll wash my bloody hands,

And we'll start a new life*

'It was for the best! He had to die! Please....stop crying!' The figures eyes flashed in annoyance as Kagome burried her head into her pillow.

* I don't know much at all,

I don't know wrong from right,

All I know is that I love you,

Tonight.*

'Dammit!' The figure looked away as more memories came back.

--------------------------Flashback--------------------------

The figure stood up from the dead body of the boy. Blood was splashed everywhere. The figure walked over to the bathroom and removed the gloves he'd placed on his hands. He took a look in the mirror and grimaced at the spots of blood on his face. 'He just couldn't die cleanly, could he?' He thought in disgust. He began to wash off all the blood when he stiffened. Sirens were heard coming closer.

* There was.....

Police and flashing lights,

The rain came down so hard that night.*

'No, that wasn't where it began....what happened BEFORE that!?' The figure sighed and sat further in the crook on the limb.

* The headlines read,

A lover died,

No tell-tale heart was left to find.

When you mourn the death of your bloody valentine,

The night he died,

You mourned the death of your bloody valentine,

One last time, singing*

The figure watched through a hooded gaze as the porceline face of Kagome Higurashi appeared at the window. Her eyes were full of tears and her cheeks were a bright red color from crying.

* Oh my love,

Please don't cry,

I'll wash my bloody hands,

And we'll start a new life,

I don't know much at all,

I don't know wrong from right.

All I know is that I love you, tonight.

Tonight.....*

The figure smiled as the full memory came back to him.

'Kagome and that bastard had gone on a date.'

*He dropped you off,

I followed him home.*

'He drove home and I followed him to the house we shared. I got out of my car and ran around to where I knew his bedroom window was.'

* Then I,

Stood outside his bedroom window.*

'I opened the window when he fell asleep, and climbed through. No one else was home which made things so much easier. I took out a large knife I had brought with me. I slowly approached his sleeping form.'

*Standing over him,

He begged me not to do,

What I knew,

I had to do,

'Cause I'm so in love with you.*

'The thunder boomed and woke him up. He saw me and jumped to his feet. Fear glittered in his eyes, much to my satisfaction. I leapt at him and the struggle for his life began. It lasted only an hour.'

*Oh my love,

And we'll start a new life.

I don't know much at all,

I don't know wrong from right.*

Silver locks stained in blood flared out around the dead body of the boy. The figure sneered at the prone figure known as Inuyasha. 'Heh. Kagome is now mine, Inuyasha.'

'Yes, thats how it happened.' The figure looked to the still crying girl once more.

* All I know is that I love you,

Tonight.....*

'I love you Kagome.' And with that last thought, Naraku stood from his perch and left, promising to see her at school the next day.

*Tonight.*
