Gone by Fire_Demoness
Why me?
Why? Why the hell did he have to leave her? What did I ever do wrong? A single tear rolled down her face.
His dead body was in her lap. Both lying in a pool of his and her blood.
"Sesshomaru." He was gone. The day before our marrage. He died protecting her.
Stupid her! She walked out without her bow and arrows. She could do nothing to protect herself or him when he was hurt.
Both wepens broken. Yet he's stupid pride. He could of just left. No! This is all my fault.
What about Rin now? Her "father" gone.
~~~Flashback~~~
Sesshomaru got down on one knee. "Kagome will you marry me?"
Kagome jumped in his arms crying.
"Can I take that as a yes?"
Kagome just hugged him tighter.
~~~End Flashback~~~
This is all my fault. Well he did keep his promice.
~~~Flashback~~~
"Kagome I will always protect you. You melted my heart of ice. I could never let anything happen to you."
~~~End Flashback~~~
He did brake one promice.
~~~Flashback~~~
"Sesshomaru promice you'll never leave me?"
"I promice you." He said capturing her lips in one more kiss.
~~~End Flashback~~~
It started to rain. She remembered what her mom told her once.
"Don't be scared Kagome. The rain is just angels crying with someone."
Well the angels must feel her pain. Maybe her Sesshomaru was crying with her too.
She hoped so.
She pulled the golden dagger out of her robes. She was tempted to use it.
Than she thought of Shippo and Rin. She put the dagger away for now. She hoped she would never have to use it. Seeing her love die right berfore her eyes was enought blood to last for several lifetimes.
~~~3 months later~~~
Kagome walked in the garden. This was her faverite place of all. Ever since he died.
She still had nightmares about that.
She woke up screaming several nights. If only he was there to protect her.
The wind wispered to her. She thought she heard his voice telling her "I love you. Stay strong for me."
Thats when she remembered a poem he wrote her
I lay on my bed of white roses
Now stanied red with my blood
Never to know what happened
I have to live with the mistake
That I'm a girl who doesn't dance
The fallen shoes
Music playing softly in the background
Memmeries of that day fade
Sinking deeper into depresion
Never knowing
I'm a girl who dosen't dance
Promice me Kagome that you will never be like that ever again.
"I promice Sesshomaru. As long as you watch over me."
The wind carried her answer back. "As you wish."
The End
