Kagome sat on a hill over looking the village in Inuyasha's forest. "Ye child not going to the festival?" The old village priestess asked. Kagome sighed and shocked her head. She looked that sight of all her friends. Inuyasha danced with Kikyo, as Sango and Miroku danced as well. Shippuo was running around and playing with Rin. Ah and Un was sitting out side of the village but watched the girl closely. Kagome sighed again, "I'm fine Kaede and be sides I'm not wanted anymore." As Kagome went back to watch the villager make marry. "Ye child be at peace and enjoy for Naraku is dead and can't not harm us or plague anymore."

As a figure watch as the village festival. His golden eye looked around and spotted the two priestess sitting and talking. With his demon speed he hid his arua and listen to them as his eyes watched the young miko.

"So child what will ye do now?" The elder miko asked as she stood and all her bones seemed to pop in to place.

"I guess I will return to my time and finish off my life and get back to my old life." Kagome looked up at the night time sky and smiled but then frowned.

"would ye wait for first light to go home?" Kaede watched her as she smiled then frown.

Kagome nodded "I would want to say good-bye to everyone that I care for before I go."

as the figure heard he turned his back and headed into the forest a little ways as he tried to calm his beast down. For weeks as he travaled with his brother's group the young miko as the only thing that he was able besides Rin to let himself get close too.

Kagome stood up as Kaede headed down the village. She walked into the forest. To a stop that she knew so well. As Kagome walked to the god-tree. She could feel eyes on her, but she didn't let that stop her. Placing on hand on it and leaning her on the tree. As she sighed. "Oi wench, I saw Kaede with out you, I figured you would be here." Kagome looked at Inuyasha as she smiled. "So you found me."

"She said that you will be leaving as well tomorrow first light I believe." Inuyasha jumped into the first branch and looked down at her.

Kagome just nodded to him as she turned and sat on the roots of the tree.

"Are you going to tell my ass of a brother?" Inu yasha waited for say as he figured a small vase that he hoped later she wouldn't kill him for.

"He shouldn't get his hopes up to court me, I told him that he would have to wait if he lived until the five-hunred years to see me again." Kagome sighed yet again as she looked up the stars through the leaves of the tree.

"Kagome what if there is away that he could live with your help that is but all you had to do was drink a postion?" as he jumped in front of her and handed the vase out to her.

Kagome looked at it. "no inuyasha I would not do that." as she walked away from him and towards the bones eaters well and saw that the one demon that she gave her heart too, "Sesshomaru-sama."

He gave a small smile and held out his arms to her. As she walked up to him and warped her arms around him. "My lord I will have to make a wish for the jewel to be no more."

"Kagome must you go I would go mad if you were not here." as he places his head in the crook of her neck breath in her scent as he lightly kissed her neck.

"Sesshomaru your neck it's bleeding" as she whipped the blood from wound as it started to slow.

"It'll will heal mate sleep for you will have a Jewel to wish away and we will I hope to find out what this new smell on you is." sesshomaru held her to him as he breath in the sweet scent of lilies and that of a faint smell of forest rain his own scent.

Kagome smiled and held on to her mate for now she was happy to be mated to the Tai-youkai of the west but for tomorrow he was right they would be turn from each other.

Inuyasha walking out of the forest he could hear his brothers howl, not telling if it's that of sadness or that of joy. Waiting for morning he would find out about it. As all was asleep of the hut, and in other places. Sun light touched the land, Sesshomaru was the first to wake as he looked down at his mate in his arms and smiled as he hope that after the wish she would stay in the land and be lady of the west. For no one would be able to take up the job and he would not let anyone have that place be side him either.

Sesshomaru gently nudged Kagome awake as she would moan and cling to his side more. "Mate come the day waits for no one." Kagome just sighed and kissed his bare chest, "I wish it would never had come." Sesshomaru could smile the sadness on her but not understanding it. As Sesshomaru sat up and began to dress, Kagome looked up at him and smiled. "I see now why my friends would spend the next day in bed." Sesshomaru raised his eyebrow at her, "and my dear why is that?" Kagome held out her arms to him. As he pulled her to him and held her there. "For that was amazing my lord, my mate." the last a whisper in his ear.

Sesshomaru smiled and kissed her, "dress Kagome for this sesshomaru wouldn't want to kill his brother for seeing you undress." Just as he went to place Kagome on her feet Inu Yasha with Sango walked into the clearing. Kagaome spotted them and Yepped as she went behind Sesshomaru and quickly dressed. Inuyasha looked at his brothers and went to growl but was slammed into the ground four. Walking out from behind Sesshomaru, Kagome placed her hand on his shoulder and smiled up at him. As she walked up to Sango and nodded to her.

Inuyasha waited until the spell wore off then went to Sesshomaru. "I heard you howl brother and yet you just stand their as Kagome walks away from you. wait when was she here?" Sesshomaru looked at him, "Kagome and this Sesshomaru has mated little brother."
