'Where's Inuyasha when you need him?' Kagome thought wearily while trying to climb out of the well with her oversized pack. 'Speaking of Inuyasha wonder where he is he's usually here as soon as he smells my scent.'

Kagome shrugged and kept walking down the familiar path to Kaede's Hut where she knew her friends would be.

Kagome walked into the hut and said, "Hey guys, I'm back!!" she chirped happily.

"Hi Kagome." Everyone in the group said. Kagome's eyes scanned the hut for Inuyasha.

"Do you know where Inuyasha is?" she asked.

"No, he said he had some business to attend to, whatever that means." Sango said. Her eye twitched and she turned around and SMACK!!! Echoed through the hut. "HENTAI!!!"

"It was worth it." Miroku said rubbing his cheek.

"When will you learn, Miroku." Shippo said shaking his head. "Kagome, do you have some treats for me?"

"Of course!!" Kagome said pulling out a lollipop and handing it to Shippo.

"Thanks!" Shippo said grabbing the lollipop.

"I'm going to go look for Inuyasha okay guys." Kagome said while walking out the hut.

"Hai, but be careful Kagome." Sango said.

"I will." Kagome replied.

'Wonder what Inuyasha's doing?' Kagome heard some voices and walked towards them walking deeper and deeper into the forest.

She came upon Kikyo and Inuyasha's forms. Kagome quickly hid behind a tree and listened intently.

"Yes Kikyo I will kill Kagome for you, then you can have your soul and we can forever be together Kikyo." Said Inuyasha.

"Really Inuyasha? You would do that for me, then you will forever be mine and will never leave my side." Said Kikyo.

"Of Course Kikyo, I am yours as you are mine." Inuyasha whispered pulling Kikyo into a passionate kiss.

'How could Inuyasha do this to me? Why? I will never forgive him?' she cried in her mind. Kagome turned and ran away not caring where she was going.

'I will never forgive him! NEVER! I will become stronger and have my revenge!' Kagome hissed in her mind. Running as fast as she could, blinded by tears and oblivious to the branches that scraped her bare skin.
