Seven o'clock. The alarm clock screeches, destroying the tranquil morning.

Twenty three and a halfseconds later, it was hurled across the room, by a dark haired beauty.

"Fuck I hate Mondays."

She raised her tousled head, wiping away the drool as she stood up, and stumbled to the bathroom.

One hour and ten minutes later this tousled haired woman had transformed into one Kagome Higurashi. And she was ready to face the day.

Too bad she was already running late.

Nine o'clock, he stood in the doorway of his office, waiting for his new secretarypersonal assistant to show up. He watched the second hand of his watch pass over the twelve, for the third time.

"Three minutes late. I hate tardy people."

The elevator doors slid open, revealing a young woman, in her early twenties. She wore a black pinafore dress over a white blouse, with red heels upon her feet. No make up was worn and he noted her startling blue eyes, with a fiery determination blazing upon them.

"Mr Tashio, I apologize for my tardiness. Please forgive me." She said, holding out a carton containing bagels and coffee. He raised an eyebrow in question.

"Decaf latte, skim milk and one sugar...I believe that will be to your liking?" she asked questioningly, gazing into his amber orbs.

Not wanting to ruin his first impression with the girl he gestured her into his office and closed the door with a click. All other occupants on the floor started whispering among themselves, wondering how badly the new girl was going to get it.

"Miss Higurashi I do not tolerate tardiness. However since you are new and you brought a peace offering I am willing to overlook it this once. However once more and you will find yourself looking for a new job."

"Sesshoumaru. What the fuck happened to you."

"I do not tolerate such attitude in my building."

"You can't fool me Ssesshoumaru. You and I know you have not much power over me, your father on the other hand does. And know what? He loves me. Totally pays to have your half brother as a best friend, you know that?" she winked before grabbing a bagel, and made a move towards the door, stopping as his voice cut through the air.

"Kagome. I may not have power over you. But I can make you miserable."

She gulped, before closing the door behind her.

"Bloody asshole." She muttered, wolfing down the rest of the bagel.

She then realized everyone on the floor was staring at her.

"What?"
