A TAll regal youkai Comes across a young girl laying near a stream her body racked with sobs of pain.

"Girl Why do you cry?" He asks her.

"My mother was just murdered." She sobbed not moving from the ground.

"Then she was not ment to be in the world of the living anymore." He said stoically.

"My mother was the kindest most caring woman anyone could ever meet, she cared for those weaker and those stronger she stood up for what she believed she was a selfless woman she did not deserve to die, she did not deserve to be murdered by a hidden entity, she should still be alive and with me." The girl Screamed standing to her full height of 5'6 and sending him a death glare.

The regal demon looked down to the girl noticing she was a demon and she was glaring at him.

"If she is dead she must have done something not so selfless to end up that way." He said Concealing his anger at her disrespect of him.

"You don't know her so do not talk as if you do you bastard."The girl yelled Punching him in the face.

"You dare to lay a hand on my person, I will teach you a lesson Wench."He said Calmly grabbing her by the throat.

"Release me!" The girl screamed grabbing his wrist.

"You will be punished for your insolence girl." He said Tightening his grip.

'oh god I am going to die, I wish I could just dissappear' The girl thought and as the last word crossed her thoughts she did just that.

"My lord I fear something terrible will happen to your pup, for my vision tells me she knew not of her origins." An old woman said brething heavily after her vision.

"Are you sure Mistress Kaeda?" Lord Matsunagi asked.

"Yes my lord I am afraid the vision tells all we need to know, your daughter will be kidnapped most likely at birth and raised as a human." Kaeda said looking at her lord.

Lord Matsunagi was the Eastern Demon lord, he stood at a great hieght of 6'6, his midnight black hair cascaded down his back in waves, his eyes were a dark blue that looked black in certain light, the marking thst spoke of his position were Black Two stripes on each cheek.A dagger adorn his forhead signifying his position as the head of the eastern house. He was very well built. But at the news that his baby would be kidnapped his regal form slumped greatly as if unsure how to take in this news.

"Is there nothing we can do to prevent this mistress Kaeda?" Asked a feminine voice from behind the lord.

"The only things we can do Lady Satorie are bump up security measures, to try and prevent the kidnappers from getting to your heir." Kaeda said looking sullen.

"We still have time Kagome isn't due for at least another week we should be able to bump up our security by the time she comes." Satorie said hopefully.

Satorie was a petite demoness, standing at a mere 5'5 next to her mate, her hair wasa light crystal blue, her eyes black as night.Her markings were much the same as her husbands except they were a slightly lighter color a dark sapphire blue and she too had a dagger adorning her forhead to signify her position as lady of the east.

"Yes, we should be able to adjust the security, to prevent her being kidnapped before she comes." Her mate said trying to reassure her.

"Maybe not." Satorie said as water rushed from between her legs.

"Oh my word."Kaeda said shocked.

"Get the healer and bring her to my mayes room immediately Mistress Kaeda."Lord Matsunagi said leading his mate away.

"Yes my lord." Kaeda said and hurried off as fast as her old legs would carry her.

"I need a healer immediately, the Lady has gone into labor early."Kaeda said whipping open the door to the medical wing.

A young woman came rushing forward carrying the correct supplies, ready to serve her lord and lady.

"Follow me miss."Kaeda said pulling the woman behind her quickly.

'Good, she took me with out even asking who I was this makes my job much much easier.'The young woman thought as Kaeda dragged her through the castle.

As they neared the Ladys Chambers they heard an ear splitting scream that made them both flinch back at the volume.

"I am here my lady, now I need you to take a deep breath and try to relax and answer a few questions for me so I may asses the situation."The young woman said sweetly.

"Ok." The lady said taking a deep breath as the contraction subsided.

"How far apart are your contractions?" The young woman asked.

"They hit about every minute or so." Satorie said breathing in slowly.

"Alright, now when was the pup originally due." The woman asked.

"A week from now."Satorie said screaming as another contraction hit.

"Ok, the pup should be ok if it only a week early."The woman said preparing her tools for the birthing process.

"Good."Satorie said as the contraction passed.

"Now, my lord I hate to do this but it is not safe for you to stay during the birth, her beast will automatically surface once the contractions start comming every fifteen seconds and it will kill any male in the vicinity seeing it as a threat to the pup, so I must ask you to stand outside of the room until the pup is born."The woman said calmly.

"Alright, I will return my love."The lord said kissing his mate and leaving the room.

"Mistress Kaeda, will you retrieve some water from the wash room for me?" The woman questioned Kaeda as she lifted the dressing gown the lady was now in to check the progress of the birth.

"Yes, miss, oh I did not catch your name." Kaeda said waiting.

"My name is Midori." The woman said and turned back to what she was doing.

Kaeda Retrieved the water like she was asked and then Parted from the room, she did not want to encour the wrath of The lady.

'Perfect they both left this makes my job alot easier now.' Midori thought evilly.

"AHHHHHHHHHH!" Satorie screamed the contractions were getting closer soon her beast would be in control.

"Alright my lady, I need you to spread your lags as wide as you can it will be easier for me to see the baby." Midori said checking the progress yet again.

"Ok." Satorie said opening her legs wider ven though it hurt to do so.

The contractions began coming sooner and sooner and soon she was lost to her beast.

"Its time to push." Midori told Satories beast.

Soon the baby was out and the beast was receeding into the back of Satories mind.

"Its a beautiful little girl." Midori said holding the baby still.

"May I hold her now?" Satorie asked not sure what to do since this was her first birthing.

"I must clean her first then you can hold your baby girl."Midori said walking over to the doors that led to the washing room.

"Alright." Satorie said Tiredly.

'Baka, woman, I am so glad she doesn't know the birthing rituals when the first heir is born.'Midori thought leaving the room with the child wrapped nicely in a blanket.

Midori washed the pup quickly and lept from the window in the washing room, she would do as her master bid and dispose of the pup where someone would no doubt find and kill the child because it was a demon pup.She ran quickly through the forests surrounding the Eastern Palace towards a nearby village where she knew a poerful Miko resided.

Back at the Palace

"Matsu, Matsu the healer shes Kidnapped Kagome."Satorie yelled through the door as she was still to weak to walk.

"What do you mean?" He asked bursting through the door.

"She said she was going to wash the pup and then return but their scents are fading and I can not sence her aura anymore." Satorie cried helplessly.

"So it was the healer, I had a feeling it would happen this way." Kaeda said entering the room.

"But midori has been here for years." Satorie said tears streaming down her flawless moon light skin.

"All part of the plan get your trust and then turn on you I didn't expect it from her so I did not think that leaving the room would be the mistake it was." Kaeda said lowering her head sorrowfully.

Midori ran and ran quickly coming upon the village she sought, when she was at the villages edge closest to where the miko resided she let her youki flare and then left the baby and disappeared quickly.A Woman of maybe twenty stepped from a hut quickly bow drawn ready for the attack but nothing was there but a bundle of blankets. She approached the bundle cautiously and looked inside, to her surprise she found a newborn inu pup looking up at her with curiosity in its eyes.Her kind heart got the better of her and casting a spell she concealed the young pups identity and picked her up carrying her into her hut.

"I will Call you Adalia, young one, may you grow to be a kind hearted young woman under my care." The woman said kissing the childs forhead gently.

The baby looked up at her and The woman could tell that she was thanking her for saving her instead of killing her like any other miko would have.

"You must be hungry." The Miko said to her and retrived some warm milk from her stores to feed the young pup with.

"Poor pup, your family abandonned you, do not worry I will be your family now, my sweet." The miko said as the baby drank from the makeshift bottle.
