Star-Crossed Lovers by Yuiitsu Sakka
The 3rd Brawl
Two Households, both alike in dignity, in Feudal Japan where we lay our scene. From ancient grudge, break to new mutiny. Where civil blood makes civil hands unclean. From forth the fatal loins of these two foes, a pair of star-crossed lovers, take their lives. Whose misadventured piteous overthrow, doth with their death, bury their parents strife. The fearful passage of their death marked love and the continuance of their parents' rage. Which, but their children's end, not could remove, is now the setting of our stage.

"THREE CIVIL BRAWLS!!!" The Tasio yelled at Inuyasha slamming his fist on the cherry wood desk, leaving a splintered hole. Inuyasha cringed as he watched his father's temper flair. "THE YOUKAI COUNCIL IS IN AN UPRAOR AND ARE THREATENING TO THROW US OUT OF THE COUNTRY IF YOU DON'T BEHAVE!!!!!" his father's face was getting redder by the moment and his eyes were already lined with pink.
Noticing this, his mother cooed, "Now, now, take a deep breath. Remember what the doctor said about your blood pressure."
Flustered and unable to speak anymore, his father placed an elbow on the desk and massaged the bridge of his nose in frustration.
"Honey, your father has worked very hard to get the family where we are today, and after your brother's mother died, it just got that much harder." his mother said softly.
Sesshoumaru's mother and his mother were always the best of friends even after she and his father had agreed to separate. They had always stayed on good terms with each other, that is, until she died.
"It's bad enough that you were there. If Sesshoumau were there, it would have just made matters worse."
Sesshoumaru liked to pretend that he didn't give a rat's ass what happened to him, but when Inuyasha needed defending he would do it-- no matter how reluctant he seemed to be.
"Were is Sesshoumaru, anyway? I've not seen him since yesterday morning." his mother said in a somwhat worried tone.
"I saw him meditating by the waterfall just before the fight broke out. I don't think I've ever seen him this down before."
"His mother just died, would you expect anything less?" his father asked, reminding them both that he was still there.
For the first time, Inuyasha actually felt sorry for his brother. Though he had felt physical pain many times in his life, he had never had to endure the loss of a loved one, let alone his mother.
"If he doesn't come back soon, I'll go talk to him," Inuyasha said reassuringly. His mother nodded her head in approval. He turned to leave, but before he could his father stopped him. "Inuyasha...behave yourself." Nodding his head he turned and left.

A/N: lol. it's kinda funny how my inspiration came to me when I was sick with nothing else to do, and in the middle of reading a different story. ;P
Seriously now peopsles, I was in the middle of rereading the 13th ch. from "Tales from the House of the Moon"(a REALLY good story of Sesshoumaru and Kagome, I might add) and it hit me like a ton of bricks. So review and tell me if you like. I promise to update soon.
Peace out Peopsles!
