Chapt One

"Lets break up", Kagome said to Inuyasha.

"Why?", Inuyasha said as she turned around to walk out from the high school.

She felt numb, and nothing can explain what she was feeling. It was a mixture of heartache, relief, and sadness.

Inuyasha turned around and walked, head down, to the boys locker room, and while he was having a shower, he cried his heart out right there, and no one was watching.

The next day, she then felt that losing him was a loss and she cried her heart out infront of her friends. But she never told anyone, she kept it to herself and only let her secret diary know.

When they walked past each other, they didnt say anything, and only made eye contact.

His eyes are so sad, Kagome thought.

When Kagome walked home that day, her mind was full tof thoughts and could not even concentrate.

For the next few weeks, they acted as if nothing happened, and seldom talked to each other anymore.

Months passed, and it was still the same. Friends, just friends, nothing else, although Inuyasha made it clear that he still loved her. She never told, but she too, had the same feelings as him.

And during these months, Kagome found out from one of her friends that another boy from a different stream likes her too, and wants her number.

She told her not to give him the number, but little did she know that he checked her friend's contacts and found her number right there, and memorized it.

"Hello? Is this Kagome? Im Sesshoumaru.", is what Kagome heard when she picked up a call from an unknown number.

"Umm, hi. Yeah, I've heard of you. " Kagome replied back, rather awkwardly.

And little that she know that that conversation would be the starting of something different.
