Kagome and her group sat around the fire eating their dinner, and making small talk with one another, but Kagome was to consumed with her thoughts to keep track with the idle conversation, her thoughts were some where else entirely as they were of a certain Taiyoukai of the west and his time of weakness,

~Sesshoumaru's time of weakness is fast approaching, and he's getting weaker I felt it when he paid me a visit two weeks ago I still remember his last heat cycle all to clearly, the poor guy err . . .demon was so weak and was finding it hard to control what his instincts were screaming to him.

I felt so sorry for him seeing the usually extremely controlled Lord fighting an inner battle with him self and though he hid it well I could tell it was causing him immense physical and emotional pain but this time I'll be ready this time I shall help him through this, no matter the cost we're friends and I've come to realise that I love him deeply,

and it's definitely completely different to the love I had for Inuyasha which I've also come to realise was just puppy love ha how ironic having puppy love for a puppy.

I also realise that though I still love Inu it's changed to that of a sisterly love that one would have for a brother and I know that I need a man not a boy and Inu is still a boy or pup by demon standards. I also know that Sess needs to take a mate this heat cycle, or run the risk of violating an innocent woman or becoming sterile,

So I'll help him anyway I can . . . . . . . even if that means becoming his mate and falling heavy with his pup and heir after all that's something you would do for the one you love right~ So with mind made up she finished her dinner and joined in the idle chatter with her companions.

Until she heard Inuyasha growl low and didn't need to ask who it was as she felt the all to familiar aura caress hers but what worried her was the fact that Sesshoumaru's aura held tints of sorrow and sadness, and this worried her so she got up and started walking in the direction she felt him in as he came and stepped into the camp.

"Hello Sesshoumaru do what do we owe the pleasure of your presence within our camp" asked Kagome giving him a smile. Which he returned albeit sadly and replied " Kagome would you mind if I could talk to you about something in private?" "Of course Sesshoumaru what's wrong.?" "Could we speak in private as it is a personal matter" " yes sure were do you wanna go" "come here don't worry I'll bring you back to your companions" he said with another sad smile which was starting to bother Kagome " ok Sesshoumaru" "oh hell no there is no way I'm letting you go with him Kagome" growled an angered Inuyasha which in turn angered Kagome which also in turn angered Sesshoumaru, however Kagome was the one to speak up as her fiery temper was let lose on the poor hanyou whom Sesshoumaru felt sorry for right about now knowing what she was about to do to Inuyasha, "Inuyasha don't you dare presume to tell me what I will and will not do or where I will and will not go and who I will and will not go with do you understand you don't own me I'm my own person so shut you mouth and SIT down and stay SITting down and do not follow other wise I will SIT you to hell and back get it, got it, GOOD" she yelled down at the 6 foot crater that the hanyou now resided within.

Then walked over to Sesshoumaru "shall we go then" she said to Sesshoumaru as he nodded and wrapped his arms around her waist and called upon his youki cloud as they lifted into the air she called to her friends "I'll be back don't worry" and then her and Sesshoumaru were gone. After they had touched down into a beautiful clearing that was covered in all sorts of different sweet smelling flowers and had it's own hot spring that reflected the moonlight. Kagome gasped the clearing was beautiful and private. "Sesshoumaru why didn't you tell me there'd be a hot spring were we were going I could have brought my bathing supplies with me" groaned Kagome (her and Sess have a REALLY close friendship that is so close that they would sometimes bathe together Kagome and Sess don't mind as they trust one another and know that the other won't try anything, Kagome held even more trust in him as they have bathed together before while he was in heat and he didn't do anything)

Sesshoumaru smiled still with that sadness and dropped her backpack beside him and was rewarded by her shimmering smile "oh my god Maru I love you" she squealed and hugged him which he returned with a chuckle "I know I'm great aren't I Kags" he said through the chuckle "yes, yes you are Sess" " well I knew that you'd probably want to bathe as soon as you seen the hot spring so while you were busy making Inuyasha kiss he dirt I slipped your bag away and concealed it so as the rest of the group wouldn't see it and ask questions and make accusations, also don't worry about us being seen.

I have a barrier up that prevents the outside world from hearing or seeing anything within" he replied back she laughed as she spoke "well then shall we, it would be better for whatever you want to talk to me about if you were relaxed" " we shall and yes your right it would be better" "well then what are we waiting for" she said with a giggle as she bent down and pulled out her bathing supplies and the ones she kept for Sesshoumaru as well as soft fluffy white towels so they could dry of as soon as they got she had taken to keeping bathing supplies for Sesshoumaru when their baths got more frequent,

She loved bathing with him because for some reason she always relaxed, really relaxed and she loved the conversations they shared during their baths.

After she had laid them out on the edge of the spring so they'd be accessible to them, she started to undress with ease her shyness about being naked in front of him and he in front of her had long since left her after about their fourth time bathing with one another.

After she and Sesshoumaru finished undressing they both stepped in to the warm waters of the spring and sat there for a moment or two letting the soothing waters relax their tired muscles, Kagome reached for the shampoo and conditioner that she kept for him, she then turned to him and he knowing what she was about to do got up and walked to the deeper part of the spring which came up past his waist with her following after they stopped Kagome placed the conditioner bottle on a conveniently placed rock she then poured some of the light smelling lavender and vanilla shampoo that she knew he loved out onto her palm and then set the bottle aside and started working it to a lather into his hair massaging his scalp in the process knowing that it calmed him teamed with the soothing aromatic scent of lavender after she was done and he had dunked under the water to rinse he came back up and she repeated the process with the conditioner, after she washed his hair he turned her and repeated the whole process with her own light smelling strawberry and chocolate shampoo that he loved the feminine scent of in her hair.

After they were done with the hair washing they moved back to the edge placed the shampoo and conditioner back down to pick up the body wash Sandalwood and cinnamon for Sesshoumaru and vanilla and rose for Kagome and washed their bodies and each others backs after they had rinsed their bodies they set the body washes aside and sat in a comfortable silence with one another, which Kagome was the first to break. "So Maru what was it you wanted to talk to me over" she asked " well it's something Kagome that I feel that only you can answer as it is a question on love and if what I'm feeling is said emotion" "oh ok well how does she make you feel when your around her" " She makes me feel alive, and makes me feel like I can be myself when I'm with her and that I can let my guard down, my mask fall and relax and just be free to be me without all the titles I can just be Sesshomaru not the Lord of the western lands, nor the mighty Taiyoukai and not the ruthless demon lord, just Sesshoumaru the man free to feel, and every time I see her my heart skips a beat then beats a little faster and swells. " Oh gods Sesshomaru in love no your not just IN LOVE your HEAD OVER HEALS in love so yes, yes Maru you are" she replied with a grin " there's a problem though I'm not sure if she feels the same for me." Sesshoumaru couldn't help the grin that spread across his handsome features she had accepted to becoming his mate without hesitation and even said she didn't care if the pups they bore were hanyou or not " koi I know you wouldn't mind if they were but they will not be hanyou they would be full youkai, my love as you are a miko of immense power that even rivals my own" he mock huffed at that and she couldn't help but giggle at how adorable he looked. Sesshoumaru gave her a side-glance and smiled at her he loved when she laughed or giggled but he then looked at her fully and continued what he was saying before hand "and because of that power coupled then with my own they'd become full youkai." " Ok " she said kissing him passionately, he returned it and took them out of the water as he laid her gently down upon the grass.

Sesshoumaru settled above her as he continued kissing her, he then moved down kissing her jaw line, then to her neck over to were it meets with the collarbone. Leaving little nips and licks.

"oh ok cool" she said with a smile "you do know that you will now have holy energies as well and will probably change yourself" she then asked "I figured as much" replied Sesshoumaru "for it is what happens if a powerful demon were to mate a powerful miko" he continued "but for now koishii, rest we have a long day ahead of us tomorrow an I will wish to repeat tonight's actions in the morn" she grinned and settled atop of him as he wrapped his tail around her and then with his whip which was manipulated by Sesshoumaru to do his bidding he grabbed his haori and draped it around them also and both lovers fell into a peaceful slumber both with smiles
