Chapter 1

Kagome was crying on the riverbank in Kaede's village remembering what she did playing in her mind over and over again.

Flashback:

Late on a hot summer night Inuyasha went to see Kikyo after seeing some of her soul collectors coming to retrieve the one they were seeking. When Inuyasha spotted them he first looked to see if the cost was clear to see the women (if you could call it that. Personally I would call it slut, bitch, or whore somewhere along those lines. "She never loved you but I did! If I didn't love you why would I have stayed all these years. When I could have easily could have gone and left you after we killed Naraku but I didn't because I though we had a chance. After all you said you loved me but that was a lie wasn't it Inuyasha? So you and Kikyo can see Naraku IN HELL!!!" she said letting go of the arrow as a lone tear trikled down her face.

What happened three days ago played over and over again wishing there was a stop button to it all. That was it, to stop it all, to end her life. She knew she couldn't love anyone there because Koga mated with Ayame, and Mirkou and Sango are married (about time) with a child I might add, and there was no chance in hell Sesshomaru could lover her. And she couldn't go out with Hojo for two reasons 1) He is engaged to some one and 2) the well closed so she couldn't go home, not even to see her family, even if she wanted too. So her last resort was to end it all. She picked up a dagger she had with her at all times (why I have no clue.).

'He said my name.' mentely shaking her head she asked the first thing that poped in her mind: "Why?"

"Because over the years I have become fond of you," he said walking twords her "You may find this hard to believe,but I love you."
