The Choices We Make: The Poem by Tsuki Angel
The Choices We Make: The Poem
Stolen my destiny with life
You still chose me, my love
My honor chose you, not my heart
You are so cruel
If truly cruel, my heart would not be as clear as my conscience
So now a martyr is you for her?
Not so; I'm paying the price by way of you, my deserved torture
Never forget the choice you made
Forget the dipping of my soul in poison by your hate, never to be
For these words bitten into my lips, I will take what I deserve
Take all that I am till my dying breath but leave that one to her own path
Her path will become what she plays to be, that of a martyr
Oh what has this single choice begun?
Only time will tell
