Kagome sat on her bed crying; he left and did not have a clue as to what had happened while he was away. She had been attacked by Naraku again. He wasn't there to listen to her this time though.

He was the one who took her to the hospital to make sure she would still live. He helped her learn how to talk to people again when she shut herself down from the world because it hurt so bad.

Naraku had somehow figured out that Sesshoumaru was leaving town for a few days and had seen his chance. He beat her till she couldn't even walk,talk, or cry. He took her to her apartment and laid her on the bed and left hoping she would die. But she didn't, she held on and prayed Sesshoumaru would be back soon.

Naraku was her abusive boyfriend. Sesshoumaru was the only one who knew and believed her. He heard her out when she was crying and helped her prepare her mind for the damage. He had been hurt himself, by his father, the great Inu No Taisho. They were both broken souls who were lost by abuse. He was her rock and she was his.

He stopped her from ending her own life four months ago by being there for her. Sesshoumaru stood by her and no one else. Why should he? No one believed him when he said that his own father beat him till he could hardly breath.

He had left town for a meeting with his fathers businesses associates. He told her that he would be back in two days but the day he left; an hour after he walked out the door Naraku picked her lock and beat the living shit out of her.

He would be back soon and he would hear her while she cried out. Begging for some one to hear her. To see her as more than a rag doll. He would hold her as she broke. He would put her back together again.

The next day Sesshoumaru found Kagome sobbing in her bedroom bleeding from all of the open wounds. He took her to the hospital and heard her and what she told him broke hid heart. He left her and Naraku attacked her. He said next time he would take her with him when he left; and he swore to protect her from any one and every thing that tried to hurt her.

So yeah there some messed up kids surviving together and hearing each other.
