Sesshoumaru Tashio, founder and CEO of Tashio Industries, got out of his expensive, foreign car, determination etched in all of his drop dead gorgeous features. He was every female's definition of Hot. And what was this perfect specimen of the male species doing on this fine Tuesday morning? He was picking up his sick adoptive daughter, Rin, from school. He had gotten a call half an hour ago informing him that Rin had gotten ill at school and that he needed to pick her up. His good-for-nothing, lazy ass secretary, Miroku, claimed he was busy doing 'work'. Doing work his ass. Miroku was most likely studying the anatomy of one of his female employee's butt. So here he was, Armani suit and all, standing outside his daughter's kindergarten. Sesshoumaru sighed and opened the door.

"Hi, may I help you?" came a cheery voice from the desk near the entrance of the school. He looked to see who was speaking to him. There was a middle aged woman sitting at the desk smiling up at him. She looked like she had read one too many nursery rhymes. "Yes," Sesshoumaru replied in his deep, baritone voice, "Could you direct me to the nurse's office? I am here to pick up my daughter, Rin." The secretary blushed and giggled as she pointed shyly down a hallway to his right. Sesshoumaru mentally rolled his eyes. This always happened when he dealt with females. This was the very reason most of his staff was male. He nodded his head in thanks and started down the hall, leaving a blushing secretary in his wake.

Sesshoumaru walked down the hall, taking in some of the art done by the students ( if you could call it art), until he came to a door that had the words "Nurse's Office' written in multi-colored paints. He opened the door and what he saw stole his breath away.

Sitting at the nurse's desk was what had to be the most beautiful woman he had ever seen. When she looked up from the desk, she smiled and he thought his heart had stopped. "May I help you?" she asked her voice melodic and sweet. "Yes," he replied, "I'm here to pick up my daughter, Rin. I got a call saying she was ill. "Oh yes! Poor thing, I think she has the flu. Wait here while I go get her." He hoped that she hurried. There was a pressure and tightness in a certain area that was starting to make itself known. He breathed an inaudible sigh of relief when she came back a moment later with a very pale looking Rin, who was holding her little stomach in pain. Sesshoumaru patted the little girl's head affectionately. (A/N I know that Sessy's a littler OOC, but please bear with me) "Are there any forms that I must sign for Rin's release? 'O Kami, release' I feel I should get her home soon" 'For more reasons than one' Sesshoumaru thought. "All you need to do is sign this sheet saying that you picked Rin up and why." Sesshoumaru signed the sheet and was about to walk out the door when the nurse stopped him. He groaned inwardly. "Here's my number," she handed him a piece of paper that he assumed had her name and phone number on it. "Call me if you have any questions or need anything." 'Anything?' he thought, but he quickly shook those thoughts out of his head. He assured he would then gently guided himself and Rin out of the temptress's office and out to his car. Once Sesshoumaru got Rin home, he gave her some medicine and sent her to bed. He himself retired to his room, more accurately his bathroom. There was some 'business' he needed to attend to. It was going to be a looooong morning...

Much, much later.....

Sesshoumaru had finished making himself "comfortable," he finally got to look at the piece of paper she had given him. The paper read 'Higurashi Kagome' and then a phone number. 'Kagome,' he thought, 'a beautiful name for a beautiful person.' 'Maybe I should give her a call...She did say to call if I needed ANYTHING...' He grinned as he began to imagine what she could "help" him with. 'Damn....I am going to have to visit the bathroom again if I keep this up.'

A servant interrupted his thoughts, saving him from falling deeper into the gutter. "Tashio-sama, the young mistress (A/N: a.k.a. Rin) is running a 100.5 fever, and I think she needs to go to the doctor." 'There is no way I am taking her to a stupid doctor,' Sesshoumaru thought, 'they should come to her.' He was about to tell the servant to call the nearest hospital and have them send someone over when the most brilliant idea struck him. 'Hehe..I can kill two birds with one stone.' Sesshoumaru looked at the clock 'Good she should be off from work by now.' He picked up the phone on his desk and dialed a number.

~*Hello?* said an obviously female voice on the other end.

-*Ms. Higurashi, this is Sesshoumaru Tashio, Rin's father*

~*Oh Hello Mr. Tashio, is there anything I can help you with?*

'Oh if only she knew.'

-*Yes, Rin is in need of a doctor and I decided t o take you up on your offer. If it isn't too much trouble, I would like you to come to my house and see to my daughter for a little while.*

~*Oh that's no trouble at all, if you could just give me your address I will drive over there...*

-*Don't worry about it I will send over my driver and he will pick you up. All I would need from you is an address.*

~*Oh, well thank you, um my address is # 15 Shikon Drive, on the Eastern side of Tokyo.*

-* My driver will be over shortly. And thank you for your kindness Ms. Higurashi. You are a true Tenshi sent from the gods themselves.*

~*um...don't mention it...I guess I will see you in a little while.*

_*Until then.*

Sesshoumaru heard the click of her hanging the phone up. He grinned, Operation 1 of his plan had been a complete success, now to set up for Operation 2: Romantic dinner....

'Well that was an...interesting conversation,' Kagome thought, "Did he really call me an angel?' She blushed at the memory. 'I had better get my supplies ready, from what Mr. Tashio said, his driver should be here very soon. Kagome gathered up the needed supplies and put them all into a bag and brought the bag downstairs just as the doorbell rang. Kagome quickly went to answer the door. Standing on her doorstep was a very short man in a drivers outfit. The man oddly reminded her of a toad. "Hi," Kagome greeted, "You must be Mr. Tashio's driver. Let me just get my supplies and I'll be ready." The little man just nodded and waited for her. Kagome stepped back inside, got her bag and walked out the door. She locked the front door and then followed the little man to a car. She used the term 'car' loosely because what sat in front of her house was a full stretch limo. 'Wow, Mr. Tashio must be really well off.' The little man opened the door for her and she sat down on the seat. The toad-like man shut the door and then wet around to the driver's side of the car. Kagome could barely contain her giggles when he seated himself in a booster seat. She couldn't guess how he reached the petals.

Kagome stared out of the window and watched as the city of Tokyo passed into suburbs. She then noticed that they were no longer on a public road, but on a private one. They went down the drive for 5 or 6 minutes before she even caught a glimpse of the house. And the glimpse she caught told her it was going to be a very big house. She got to see the whole house when the car pulled up in front of it. And it was HUGE! 'Let's see that's 1, 2, 3, 4 ,5....there are 7 stories to his house! Oh my god! What does he do with all of those rooms?' "Miss," interrupted a squawky, scratchy voice, "Tashio-sama has instructed me to bring you to his study." "Oh, alright." Kagome followed him into the house, and down a hallway. He stopped in front of a large, oak door and knocked. "Enter." Came a voice from inside. 'The woman you requested that I. your humble servant Jaken, pick up has arrived." Mr. Tashio gave who she now knew as Jaken a 'Well duh I'm looking right at her' stare. Jaken squeaked and ushered her into the room and quickly fled out the door, closing it on his way out.

"Sorry to make you come out here all this way for Rin. You are truly dedicated to your students."

Kagome once again blushed at the compliment. She was about to say something when she noticed something. 'Did I just see what I think I saw....there, he did it again! He totally just checked me out!' Kagome felt her blush deepen. "Um...So where's Rin?" Sesshoumaru smirked. "Allow me to escort you to her room." Sesshoumaru put his arm around her shoulders and led her up a flight of stairs. He then led her to a door a little more than half way down the hall. Inside the door was an intensely pink room. In the center of the gigantic pink bed was a lump that was moving slowly up and down. "Rin, Ms. Kagome is here to see you, so wake up." "O.k. daddy." Came a weak reply from under the covers. Rin's dark head emerged from beneath the bed spread. Kagome got out her things and began examining the little girl. She was done in fifteen minutes. While Kagome had been checking on Rin, Sesshoumaru had been setting up dinner. He heard Kagome call for him that she was done. Sesshoumaru smirked. Now for phase 2..........

Sesshoumaru surveyed his handiwork. The elegant dining room table was set with two plates near the head of the table. The chandelier was turned down to a romantic glow. All the room needed was that vixen upstairs that was checking on his daughter. He mentally went over his plan in his head. It was already around seven o'clock, all he needed to do was have dinner with her and talk with her until it got past a decent hour. He would then say how it was too late for her to be driven home and then he would insist that she spend the night. Hopefully, she wouldn't be sleeping much nor would he.

Sesshoumaru then heard Kagome call his name saying that she was done. Sesshoumaru smirked and put phase 2 into action.

Kagome put her stethoscope to Rin's chest. The poor little girl sounded congested on top of having a fever. Unfortunately, there was little Kagome could do other than give the girl some cold syrup and tell her father to keep her in bed for a few days.

"Rin, sweet heart, could you please open up so I can give you some medicine?" Kagome asked. Rin shook her head "Medicine tastes nasty Ms. Kagome. I hate taking medicine." Kagome smiled, agreeing with the little girl in her head. "I know, sweety, but you need to take it, otherwise you can't get better. And if you can't get better, you can't go out to play, doctor's orders." This got the little girl's attention. "You mean I can't go out to play at all?" Kagome shook her head "Nope you will have to lay here in bed and be sick, even though it's supposed to be really nice out." Rin paused for a minute, scrunched up her face and said "All right, I'll take the nasty medicine." Kagome smiled and patted the girl on her head. She quickly went into the bathroom and filled a paper cup with water. She then came back and measured the medicine into the measuring cup (A/N you know that little cup that comes with the medicine that has the number of teaspoons on it). Rin quickly downed the medicine and grabbed for the water, drinking like she was dying of thirst. "Now Rin, you get in bed and get some sleep so that you might feel better in the morning." Rin nodded and climbed into bed. The medicine was already taking effect because Rin's eyes were drooping shut. Kagome tucked the little girl in and went to turn off the light. (A/N: I had to put in this little thing about Rin, she's just too cute! Anyway, on to our diabolical Sesshou-kun!)

Kagome shut the door quietly and walked down the hall a bit. She then called out "Mr. Tashio, I'm done with Rin." A few moments later, she heard footsteps coming up a staircase somewhere near by. She followed the sound until she came face to face with Rin's father at the top of a staircase. "How is my daughter?" Sesshoumaru asked quietly. "She is asleep now. I gave her some cold medicine that will help her get to sleep." Sesshoumaru nodded and offered her his arm. "Thank you so much, your time her is invaluable, please, let me thank you for the time you have spent here today, join me for dinner." 'and then for some dessert...maybe with some whipped cream' Sesshoumaru mentally licked his lips. This was going to be good.

Kagome blushed at his statement. "I really haven't done anything special...just helped your adorable daughter. I couldn't think of imposing on you any longer." Sesshoumaru recognized this as an escape attempt on Kagome's part. "Not, at all Ms. Higurashi, I insist." Kagome finally nodded her head and followed him into the dining room. She gasped at what she saw once she saw upon entering the dining room. There was a large table filled with what looked like absolutely delicious food. It wasn't until then that she realized how hungry she actually was until she saw all of that food. Her stomach made its presence known with a little rumble. Kagome turned a deep red. While Kagome was busy being embarrassed, Sesshoumaru smirked 'I have her now'. He motioned to the table and they both sat down at the table. (A/N: I am way too lazy to describe the dinner, so use ur imaginations ^_^ srry for being stingy)
