Raspberry Swirl

Kagome shoved another spoonful of Raspberry swirl ice cream in her mouth, a salty tear mingling within, creating a slightly bitter taste in the sweet ice cream. Pulling the spoon from her mouth, she stared at her distorted image in the spoon. Puffy eyes, normally smiling mouth in ill humor, and heart broken.

Kagome chucked the spoon at the wall... it clattered to the ground with a dull clank.

Two years, two fucking years! That's how long she'd went out with the prick. And he'd dumped her over the head cheer leader... he had said that she was prettier and way more athletic; that him and her were old news and that he was looking to upgrade.

Looking for an upgrade?! She'd given him her virginity, her love, and support no matter what he did!

Standing up, Kagome wiped her cheeks with the back of her hand.

Sonofabitch! She would not stand for this! She didn't deserve to be treated this way! She would pay him back for this humiliation, no matter what it took!

She paced her room, flicking her midnight black hair out of honey brown eyes.

But how? How could she get him back in a way that would truly affect and hurt him?

Another twirl around the room, another dead end. Then it hit her so hard that she almost stumbled.

Inuyasha's brother was the key! She would date his half brother! Inuyasha hated Sesshoumaru with a passion, they were always at each other's necks! It was brilliant! Only question was... how was she, a lowly junior, going to get the attention of the head of the football team, not to mention the hottest guy in school... who seemed to be... well, cold as ice. He wouldn't so much as notice her as he would a flea...

She had talked to him once, he DID live with Inuyasha after all. But it was more of a grunt then anything... he had never been mean to her, but needless to say he had never been what anyone would dub as nice either.

She wasn't popular, or athletic (as Inuyasha stated). But she WAS funny... if she could make him laugh.. Maybe there would be a chance...

Well, where there's a will, there's a way! So, step # 1 : How to get noticed by an incredible hot guy who happens to be your ex's brother and doesn't talk much... and doesn't notice... anyone.

Wow, this was getting more hopeless by the second.

Kagome laughed nervously and looked around at her bright pink teddy bear stuffed room.

Where would she even start...? By NOT talking to herself anymore and trying to talk to him maybe? Haha... very funny.

She grabbed one of her teddy bears with a little heart on the stomach and collapsed onto her bed with a long drawn out groan.

What was she going to do? Why couldn't his brother be all cute and cuddly and ready for loving? Ha! That was a joke, the guy was as cute as a crocodile and as cuddly as one...

She sighed and rolled over, staring at the ceiling, there had to be some way for her to get close to him. She could always go by the house in hopes of seeing him, she had to pick up a few things there anyway.

But what if she didn't run into him? Then she would have to devise another way to talk to him...

This was going to be interesting...

And she STILL needed to stop talking to herself! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!
