Sadness swept over Kagome as she saw what was happening in front of her. Inuyasha, the boy that has always protected her, the boy that she had loved, was kissing Kikyo, the dead corpse. She watched as Inuyasha just stood there, as still as a statue letting Kikyo kiss him. As there lips met, Kagome felt her heart break into thousands, no millions of pieces.

'How could he just stand there and let her kiss him!!!???' Kagome thought as she ran away from the scene. 'He picked a stupid dead corpse over me!! How could he??!!" (Sorry for Kikyo fans out there ^-^) Kagome ran and ran, not caring where she was going, she only knew she wanted to get away, somewhere Inuyasha will never be able to hurt her ever again. Suddenly, she tripped and fell down on the wet grass. "How could he pick a dead corpse over me??!!!" Kagome yelled as she banged her fist against the grass.

Sesshoumaru watched as the young girl was banging her fist against the wet grass. Suddenly anger flared in him and he thought 'my stupid brother has picked dead over living, what kind of hanyou (it means half-demon, ^-6 just in case if you didn't know) is he!!' Suddenly Sesshoumaru flew from his hiding spot and brought Kagome up in a hug, to comfort her. 'she must be hurt badly' he thought as he felt no struggle from the beautiful miko.

Inuyasha knew Kagome was watching him when Kikyo kissed him, he could smell her tears forming, as his and Kikyo's lips touched. He wanted to move away, but his body betrayed him, and he could only stand there, hoping that Kagome wasn't hurt badly and that she would forgive him....somehow. He knew where to find her, he just hoped she would come back with him, and help him find the Shikon shards.

"Where am I ?" Kagome said as she woke up. She found herself in a beautiful bedroom, a place she had never been before. Suddenly the door to her left opened, and Sesshoumaru came in.

"AHH!!" Kagome screamed as she took her blankets and flung them over herself, hoping this was all just a bad nightmare and that this wasn't really happening. "What is wrong beautiful miko?" Sesshoumaru said as he saw what Kagome was doing.

Kagome was shocked, 'did he just say beautiful? Or was I hearing things? No, I'm definitely hearing things' Kagome thought as she felt the blankets that were covering her were tossed away. Kagome was going to scream again, but what left her lips was a high-pitched "squeek!!" Sesshoumaru instantly backed away from her, as if she were some kind of nasty thing he did not want to be near. As Kagome saw him back away, she instantly ran for the door to her left, the door Sesshoumaru had come through. As she reached the door, she felt someone, no, actually 'some thing' grab onto her waist and flung her back onto the soft bed with a THUB! Kagome looked, and she could see Sesshoumaru's tail wrapped around her waist "Get your fluffy tail off of me!" Kagome yelled.

"What did you say?" asked Sesshoumaru, "About my tail?"

"I...uh....said...fluffy tail" Kagome said as she felt fear

'Fluffy' Sesshoumaru thought, 'no one has ever called me that besides my mom, and that was a LONG time ago' Sesshoumaru could smell the scent of fear inside the young miko, and he started saying, "I have been watching and waiting for you for a very long time..." Sesshoumaru could see the miko back off to the wall from the corner of his eye, and he could smell great fear coming from her.

Kagome gulped as she heard what he said, and she started backing off to the nearest wall, away from him. 'I don't want to die yet!!' Kagome thought, 'I still haven't gotten into collage yet, and I don't want to die in another time!!' Suddenly Kagome heard Sesshoumaru finish off his sentence "...and I have been loving you while I was watching and waiting for you to come to me" 'Has he gone NUTS?' Kagome asked herself as she saw Sesshoumaru was coming closer and closer to her. Suddenly she felt her back being pushed into his chest and they were hugging. Kagome tried struggling out of his grip, but it was no use, he was too strong. Kagome sighed as she admitted defeat and she let Sesshoumaru hug her.
