Kagome's Number One Fanboy by Fortunesque
Prologue
Inspiration for this fic is directly due to aura and her ficlet "He Knows He's Obsessed". I highly suggest you read it first because it is where I got this crazy idea from.
I will warn you now that this fic is going to be twisted, dark, and possibly gross. I revel in its nastiness.
As always, I don't own Inuyasha and never will.
She was the air he breathed, though she may not have known it. From the shadows he watched her like a starved animal; he watched her constantly. He reveled in everything she did, even those things she did in secret.
Her scent made him go mad with an insatiable lust.
It started innocently enough; his original intent was to follow her to perhaps find the reason why she was able to draw his father's herloom sword when he and his brother were incapable of removing it from the pedestal deep in the grave of the Great Demon Lord. Gradually, his watching of her grew into a horrible monster.
To put it bluntly, he had been driven mad.
The worst part was that this obsession was completely unknown to everyone, including himself. So far gone was he that reason never came to him. Sesshoumaru ran off of instinct and lust, driven by an unquenchable desire to possess that which he watched from afar. He took breaks from her when he mustered up the will to leave her. But, she followed him. She did. She must have, because they were always together, even though she couldn't see him when he was gone.
The miko was there when he did his tedious foreign relationship dealings with other lords. She was present when he watched over his ward. When he ate and slept she stayed by his side.
When he was alone at night, she was there. She was there when he touched himself in the dark, his hand sliding up and down his hardened flesh. When he gasped and came, it was her that was in his head.
It was in his head. She never followed him. Insanely, he felt like she was always with him. Of course, this was not the case. He was sick and no amount of help would save his mind.
It was gone.
