"No fair" five-year-old Kagome Higurashi shrieked as the eldest son of her adoptive father,Toga Taisho.Sesshomaru being twice her age outran Kagome,but was soon cursing as he tripped over his baby sister.

"Tsuki,you are such a bother."

"Ooooh,Sesshy cussed"six-year-old Inuyasha sqealed.

Sesshomaru didn't hear because he was busy tromping after Kagome into the woods.He tackled her .He let her up after much screaming on Kagome's part.

"Sky is pretty"he absently remarked.

"Sesshomaru,I want you to make me a promise,"Kagome said putting her hand in his face.

"What is it "

"Promise to say yes"

"Okay"

"When we grow up will you marry me?"

"I'm a demon,you're a human"

"You promised to say yes"she said putting on a pouty face.

"OK,OK, I will marry you"

She squealed in delight and she kissed him.She giggled at the face he made.

Not to far away Izaiyoy and Toga sat watching the children.

"This is bad"Toga remarked.

"Yes,we must seperate them "

"Izaiyoy,we will drop her down the well and seal them centuries apart"Toga sighed.

"I feel sorry for them, but it must be done."

"Kagome,pack your things"Toga said,"It is time, my angel,that you meet your real parents."

"But Daddy"Kagome begged.

"No buts,come" Toga said.

They walked to the well.

"Goodbye,Kagome"Toga said as he dropped her.Her fingers clutched his family's emblem.She hit her head .Everything went black.

"Kagome,Kagome"a patient female voice called.

"Who are you"

"I'm you mommy"said the woman holding a gurgling boy baby.

"Yes,now come on it's time for Souta and you to sleep."

Kagome looked at the amulet in her hand.
