She Took My Heart by MomoDesu
She Took My Heart
A/N: This was written especially for GleefulSorrow after she was the first to get and post on the Tessie thing in No More Secrets. Go Sox XD
Anyway, this is my first real Sess POV so it's not the best, but the person I wrote it for is pleased so my job is done!

Through the trees I watched her. She had left my side barely an hour ago, yet I already missed her presence. I already knew what she wished to do. She wanted to return to her home on the other side of the well. No amount of pleading kept her at my side. As much as this Sesshoumaru would like to deny that, I begged her to stay. For six moons we had hidden our relationship from my bastard half brother and his band of traveling misfits.
How we came to be, I do not know. Our argument over Rin's well being went from yelling to almost rutting within the blink of an eye. Never have I met such a passionate being, human or youkai. She was my balance, the life to my world of battles and death.
Now she was disappearing down this portal to a place I cannot follow.
I have always done my best to appear strong, to be the strongest. When your father was the strongest youkai in the land it leaves a lot to live up to. It seems I am expected to bypass his greatness. All of my years of training still had not prepared me for this.
She stepped up onto the ledge of the well and gave her friends one last smile, before looking over to where she knew I was hidden. With one last little smile she was gone, down through the portal that would never allow her to pass through again.
Not even thinking of the consequences of my actions I shot from the trees and flew down the well, only to hit the dirt at the bottom. I felt like my chest was being crushed and I felt a strange moisture on my cheeks. I looked toward the sky for rain, then I realized it was coming from my own eyes.
"Oi, bastard! What the hell do you think you are doing?" my idiot half brother yelled down at me.
I wiped my face with my sleeve and looked back up at him. "The miko took something of mine," I yelled back.
"What do you mean?" The monk had joined in on the conversation and was now looking down at me as well.
"Yeah! What could she have taken?" my brother added.
I sighed and looked at the dirt beneath me. "She took my heart," I said, too quietly for them to hear. I stood and looked at them one more time before shooting back out of the well and into the woods.
