Working Late

Kagome couldn't believe this was happening. How dare he make her work this late! And on a Saturday too!!! Didn't he know that she had more important things to do than follow him around all day? She should have just pretended she hadn't heard him and walked out the door. But noooooooooo, she had to turn around and see who was calling her. And now she was paying for her stupidity.

He had told her that he needed her help with something, so she had gone back to her office and made herself comfy, knowing that it would be hours before he actually told her what he wanted her to do. As she watched the last employee walk out the door she sighed, `That should be me. I should be walking out that door right now instead of sitting here waiting on my dumb boss; even though he is the hottest guy in the building.' Kagome quickly squashed that thought before it got her in trouble. The last thing she needed was for her boss to smell her arousal.

Her boss, Sesshoumaru Takahashi, chose that exact moment to walk in. "Higurashi," she said icily, "come to my office. I have something to show you." He turned and walked out of the room, without waiting for her answer.

`I wonder what could be so important that it couldn't wait until tomorrow,' she thought as she stood from her black leather chair, walked out of her office and approached his door. But before she had even touched the doorknob, the door burst open and he pulled her inside and claimed her lips in a hungry kiss. `What's going on!?' Kagome thought frantically. It only took her a moment to realize that her boss had her pinned to the wall and was kissing her like there was no tomorrow. He trailed kisses over to her ear and began suckling on it, smirking when she moaned, "What...are you...doing?"

"What's it look like I'm doing?" he replied as his hands came up to massage her breasts through her shirt. "You've temped me for far too long Kagome," he said as he moved down to nuzzle her neck, "And I think it's time I claimed what's mine."

"Sesshoumaru," she moaned as her hands came up to hold him to her neck. He merely grunted before returning his attention to her neck, causing her to moan when he licked a particularly sensitive spot. "I can't do this," she said suddenly as she pulled away from him and ran from the room leaving her stunned boss standing in the doorway.

The next morning Kagome sat at her computer checking her emails and trying to decide if she should go to work or not. On one hand if she went she'd have to deal with Sesshoumaru. On the other, if she didn't go she might get fired. She sighed and walked into the kitchen to fix her something to eat.

Her apartment only had 4 rooms; the kitchen, the living room, the bathroom, and her bedroom. Her kitchen was a soft turquoise color with off-white countertops. Her living room was painted light blue and had cl0uds sponged on it, giving the room an open, airy feel to it. Her bedroom was red and her bathroom was white.

"I guess I'll go to work," she sighed as she poured some cereal into a bowl, poured some mountain dew into a glass, and walked back into the den, "And who knows, maybe I'll get lucky and he wont be there." She sighed as she turned on some cartoons and ate her breakfast.

An hour later she reluctantly turned off the TV and went to get her coat. "Off to yet another boring day at work," she sighed as she locked her door and got into the elevator, not noticing the 2 golden eyes watching her as she got out of the elevator, went outside, and walked down the street towards the subway.

"Mrs. Hiragashi," said the receptionist when Kagome got out of the elevator, "Mr. Takahashi wishes to speak with you in his office."

Kagome sighed as she opened the mountain dew she'd bought downstairs; she should have known she wasn't that lucky. Slowly, she made her way to his office, mentally preparing herself for what was coming. She slowly opened his door and walked into the large office. He was sitting behind his glass desk arguing with someone on the phone as he filled out some sort of form. "You wanted to see me?" she said softly, hoping that he wouldn't hear her.

No such luck, he looked up at her almost immediately and motioned for her to sit down. "I've got to go Inuyasha," he said as she sat down on the couch on the far side of the office. "We'll continue this conversation when I get home." He hung up the phone and moved to join her on the couch.

"I'm sorry about yesterday," she said, scooting a little further away from him. "I just couldn't handle it."

"Its fine," he replied as he scooted slowly towards her, "although, I should warn you," they were practically touching now, "I want you. And I always get what I want," he closed the distance between them and kissed her. After a minute or two he pulled back and went to sit at his desk again.

Kagome slowly got up and walked out of his office still thinking about what he said. She didn't see him for the rest of the day, but she had this feeling that he was watching her from his office. At the end of the day she waited for him to try something but he didn't. He didn't even say anything to her as he left.

Feeling slightly down that he didn't even talk to her she made her way out of the building and over to the subway. Suddenly she was pulled into an alley and shoved into the wall. "Scream and I'll slit your throat," he said as he ripped her shirt off and roughly played with her breasts. She started to scream, but he slapped her. He yanked down her skirt and unbuttoned his pants. Tears began flowing freely down her face as he placed his member at her entrance. And then it was over as quickly as it had begun. He was thrown away from her and the last thing she saw before she collapsed was a man walking towards her.

`Those aren't my drapes,' she thought as she slowly woke up, `and this isn't my bed. It's too soft.' Kagome sat up slowly and looked around at the room she was in. Almost everything in it was a dark midnight blue. Getting up, she made her way over to what she thought was the door. She opened it to reveal an exquisite bathroom. "Oh, even better! I really gotta go!"

When she exited the bathroom she was surprised to see her boss sitting on the bed. "Sesshoumaru?" she said curiously.

"Yes, were you expecting someone else?"

"I don't know what I was expecting," she said as she sat down by him. "The last thing I remember was leaving the office yesterday. What happened?"

"Someone tried to rape you," he said solemnly as he got up and left the room, with her at his heels, "I saved you and brought you back here so I could make sure you were okay. Are you hungry?"

"No," she said moving to get her shoes, "I need to get home. Thank you for saving me!" she hurried to the door but his voice stopped her.

"I have one thing to tell you before you go. You will no longer be riding the subway. You will wait for me and I shall take you home. Meaning you're stuck here until I finish eating, because I'm not letting you go home alone."

"That isn't necessary. I can go home by myself." But before she could get to the door he was in front of it, blocking her path.

"You will wait for me!"

"Fine!" she said, moving to sit on the couch in the center of the room, "Poot face!"

"What did you just call me?" he said as he stood in front of her.

She smirked and scooted over so he could sit next to her, "I called you a poot face, ya got a problem with it?" Her answer was immediate, he tickled her. She started laughing so hard that she fell off of the couch and pulled him with her, so that he ended up straddling her. He continued to tickle her relentlessly until she started to gasp for air. "Sess..." she gasped, "go...get...my...inhaler...please!"

He immediately jumped off her, "Where is it?"

"It's...in my...purse," she gasped.

"Hold on, I'll get it!" He ran over to the door where she'd left her purse and dumped its contents onto the floor. He picked up the inhaler and ran over to her. "Here!" She quickly pulled the lid off of the small canister and placed it at her lips. She pushed down the inner compartment and quickly inhaled the medicine. *puff* Then she did it again. *puff* "I didn't know you had asthma," said Sesshoumaru as he watched her take the medicine, "are you alright?"

She nodded and after a few minutes she got up from the floor. "Yes," she said, "I'm fine."

"Are you sure?" he asked, looking at her with concern written all over his face.

"Yea, as soon as I take my inhaler my asthma gets completely better. It's been that way my whole life." He helped her walk over to the table, "You don't have to help me. I told you, I'm fine now. But now I have no choice but to let you take me home. I don't need to walk a lot today so that I can make sure I don't have another attack." She sat down at the table and he went to go get her something to drink.

"Here," he said as he handed her a glass of mountain dew, "do you want anything to eat?"

"No, thanks but I'm fine," she said with a slight smile, `he remembered that I love mountain dew.'

Even though he still wasn't satisfied, Sesshoumaru sat down again to finish his breakfast. After he was finished he helped her, even though she again told him she was fine, out the door and down to his car. "Why don't you take the day off today?" he said as he turned into her driveway. "I'll get someone to cover for you."

"That's ok, I'll go," she said as she got out of the car.

"Ok, but you're taking it easy today." He followed her up to her apartment and sat down on the couch. Turning on the TV, he smirked at the channel, "You watch cartoons???"

"Yea," she yelled from her room, "Ya got a problem with it?"

He shook his head and turned the TV off. He listened as she shuffled around her room and then her door opened and she came out in a towel. "You're taking a shower?" he said, raising his eyebrows as he watched her walk across the room to the bathroom. The bottom of the towel just barely covered her and it was driving him crazy.

"Yes and you had better not try to peek!" She said as she closed the bathroom door. He smirked and turned the TV back on, knowing it would be a while before she came out. He was right, 15 minutes later she came out of the shower. If he thought she was driving him crazy before, then he defiantly went overboard when she came out in that same towel with water dripping off her onto the floor. His eyes followed her across the room and almost popped out of his head when the towel got caught on the edge of a table and came completely off. For a second it seemed that she hadn't even noticed and then she screamed and ran into her room yelling "You pervert!" as she went.

Sesshoumaru just laughed and turned off the TV. "How is it my fault?" he mocked, "It's not like I told you to catch your towel on the table." He could hear her yelling something else at him but he wasn't listening anymore. `That's twice now that I've seen her naked,' he thought to himself, `and I sure hope it's not the last.'

An- I hope ya'll enjoyed the first chapter. I'm not sure how long this story will be at this time. It originally was just a one shot I wrote to get rid of the writer's block I had on all my other stories. But now I'm not so sure. You'll just have to wait and see I guess! ^_^
