Chapter uno (he he Spanish)

Like it would normally happen kagome saw them as she came back from her nice warm bath. She wanted to call out to sango who was getting dressed or at least make herself known to the to lovers in the moonlight but no she couldn't even walk away. She felt paralyzed and she couldn't say a word as she stared at the horrifying scene in front of her.

"Inuyasha you love me don't you?" Asked kikyo. "Of course who else would I love?" He answered. "My reincarnation, and I know you feel something for her, I've seen the way you look at her." "No, no, you've got it all wrong, its you I love kikio! Kagome's a shard detector nothing more!" "Oh Inuyasha that's all I wanted to hear you say!"

By this time kagome had silent tears running down her cheeks. Oh InuYasha I heard you tell that you loved me and would stay by my side forever, but if you meant it that why are you hear, right now, saying the things you are, why, and how, could you do this to me?!

Memory

InuYasha and Kagome are sitting on a hillside watching the sun set and kagome was leaning on InuYasha's shoulder while he had his arm around her waist. "InuYasha? Yeah kagome? I love you . . . I just want you to know that. I love you to kagome and I promise never to let you get hurt ever. But, but what about kikio? Kikio isn't alive anymore that thing that wanders this earth is not the women that I once loved. I love you kagome only you. The couple scooted closer together. Up above them a demon slayer and a monk looked down at their friends and smiled thinking the to would be together forever. Until that certain monks' hand started to wander.

End of memory

As kagome came back to the world around her she realized that the two people she had been currently been watching were now kissing passionately. She found feeling in her legs and urged them to move. She ran away, not caring what noise she made tears still running down her face. She headed for camp to find only shippo who was asleep. Feeling bad that she had to leave sango, miroku, and shippo she wrote a note to them to tell them that she was fine and would be back in a few days. Then grabbing her yellow bag, bows, and arrows she left running away into the darkness.

Kagome ran off into the woods, still crying, not caring about the tree branches that smacked her arms painfully. All she knew was that she wanted to be as far away from InuYasha as she could get. Finally feeling the pain from all the scratches on her arms and legs, she stopped. She was in a small clearing in a thick forest, she knew that InuYasha would come looking for her so she would either have to magically learn to mask her scent or find some way to fly. She didn't know how to do either so she settled for taking a stick and purifying many of the things around her because the smell of her powers would block out her scent making it difficult to find her.

With sango and miroku

Oh, miroku, I hope she's okay! Sango fretted, I mean she said that she would be okay in the note but still; shippou said that he could smell tears! Sango calm down, Kagome will be fine, she knows how to take care of herself, and she has her bow and arrows along with her! I know but the thing is . . . well, I'm not worried about her getting hurt I know she can protect herself, it's just that she left so quick and she was crying, what could make her be so upset? The two sat in silence before answering at the same time "InuYasha."

InuYasha came into camp and sat down in front of the fire. He stared at the flames before looking up to find miroku and sango glaring at him. "what?" "oh nothing" sango answered still glaring at him. "Um are you guys mad at me and where is kagome?" "she's gone" "WHAT! WHAT DO YOU MEAN SHE'S GONE; WE HAVE JEWEL SHARDS TO LOOK FOR! I'M GOING TO HER HOUSE AND DRAGING HER BACK HERE! SHE CAN'T GO ANYWHERE WITHOUT MY PERMISSION!" "InuYasha she's not at home she's still here in this time gone to who-knows-where." "What . . . she's still here? Why did she leave?" "we assume it was because of you where ever you where this afternoon must have bothered her." Miroku said calmly. What?! How do you know that this is my fault cause it's not! He yelled while getting red in the face. Miroku calmly picked up kagomes note and said because SHE said so.

Out in the land of nowhere with kags

"Well, I can't say this is good" she said as she looked around her "unfamiliar, great now that I'm lost and tired" she sat down and sighed. "might as well eat and sleep if I want to get away from InuYasha" she stated out loud.

Hmmm so she wants to get away from him this cant be used greatly to my advantage. He hopped from tree to tree so that he was now across from her and sat waiting.

Kagome sighed as she sank down into her sleeping bag. "ahh sleeping bag where would I be without you" she mumbled before falling asleep.

This is my chance, he thought. He leapt down softly walked over to her reached down and put a necklace around her throat he then left a small pouch (that smelled delicious! and tasted of yummy!) next to her. He then leaned down and whispered "good night my love" before disappearing into the night.

Kagome awoke around 7:00 to smell something that smelled delicious (see I told you, I said it). "Which one of you guys made me breakfast?" she asked before realizing that she was all alone and there was no one to make her breakfast (except for the tree, the one with the eyes, yeah that one). "Gee now I feel even more stupid first thinking InuYasha liked me and now that I thought some one cared enough to make me breakfast! Oh how I hate that InuYasha, first he leads me on letting me believe that he liked me only to watch him go off to kinky ho, ya know, I think that I hate him in a gouge his eyes out with a toothbrush kind of way (sorry but I must put my true nature in my stories I am horribly violent)

Well now off to the yummy smelling stuff (see I told you it was yummy!). She opened up the small bag that was to the left of her sleeping bag and found a whole breakfast! She poked it with her priestess powers and decided it was safe. " mmmm this is quiet tasty and so much stuff packed in such a little bag. I guess some one likes me either that or some one mistook me for kikieo again.

Stupid kikio and our issue with looking alike and being alike and every thing else that we just had to share, not that I have a problem with sharing because that's not the problem, its just that I'm me Kagome not kikio and I could spell it out for some people (*coughINUYASHAcough*I really hope you got that) that for some unknown reason don't understand this (yet again coughINUYASHAcough). I mean really we're very, VERY different why cant some people (and again COUGHINUYASHACOUGH) see this. I mean I could always see it, she never seemed to show her feelings and still doesn't, although that might have something to due with the fact that she isn't really alive and just happens to be a bag of bones and dirt.

Oh well, I don't see why I even bother to complain, especially to myself. Now on to the yummy smelling stuff (I told you it smelled good). She ate the entire thing and it WAS very tasty. Now she leaves the clearing (after purifying several things to hid her scent) and sets off on her journey to who knows where.

Kagome was having a very fine time wandering aimlessly. Ok I lied she was having a horrible time. She was now feeling the pain of the branches that had made her bleed and she was trying to put bandages on while walking. She knew that her miko powers could only hid her scent for so long and was determined to get as far away from him as she could. She was also just waiting for some evil demon to just pop out of nowhere demanding that she hand over the shards and he would spare her life. Either that or Naraku himself come popping out of the woods to finish her off and then steal her shards.

Now that she was on the topic of Naraku she thought about his "new" appearance. He somehow had managed to become uglier than he was if it was possible. He now had WAY to many eyes, nasty really; along with the two eyes on his face he now had one giant one on his chest and one on each hand. "That's 3 to many if you ask me." Kagome thought. And not to mention the fact that he wears eye shadow but then again all bad guys wear eye shadow.

" Bad Kagome focus on bandaging your cuts." Hearing the sound of bubbling water she stopped and cautiously moved ahead thinking that it was a demon doing who knows what. Instead she found a nice bubbling hot spring.

Oh kami I could so use a bath it would be perfect and it would totally stump that icky thingy that will undoubtly be looking for me! Yeah go me!! And now on to the bath! She striped quickly and hopped in the hot spring. She washed her hair and then proceeded to wash everything else. Unknown to her there was a man watching her. He looked down at the bulge in his pants and ran off not with out first muttering "Kami I hate spring."

Kagome had a good nights rest a good breakfast but still would have never been prepared for what was about to happen. She wandered out into a large plain she had been walking for a good 15 minutes when she heard a scream. She ran in the direction and came upon a girl who was being attacked. On closer inspection she realized that this girl was Sesshomaru's ward without further ado she pulled out an arrow notched it and sent it flying killing one of the two demons attacking the girl. The second demon now turned its attention to the new human that had just purified its fellow into oblivion. It slowly advanced on her and just as it was about to attack she sent the arrow into where its heart would've been had it had one.

Kagome rushed over to the girl who was around 7 or 8 years of age racking her brain trying to remember her name. She remembered it at last and said "Rin are you okay they didn't get you did they?" "They only got rin once on the arm" and she pointed to a small gash on her arm. "Okay, we'll get that fixed up in no time. I'm going to have to put a bandage over it so that it doesn't get infected alright?" Rin nodded her head and kagome got started. Knowing that it would hurt a little she sparked up a conversation about flowers with the young girl knowing how much she loved them. It was over Quickly and Kagome said "Rin since you were such a good girl when I healed you, you get some candy! Um what is candy?" Rin asked. "Oh you've never had candy have you, well candy is a sugar but with flavors and such, it's quite yummy I think you would enjoy it. This is called a sucker you pull of this paper thing called a wrapper and you suck on it ok? Alright!" Rin said enthusiastically. Kagome handed her a cherry flavored sucker and then pulled a green apple one out for herself.

By this time Sesshomaru was starting to walk out of the forest after seeing the whole encounter. Kagome stiffened as she sensed his youki right behind her she immediately stopped teaching rin the words on the candy wrapper and turned to face him. "Miko are you not my half-brothers wrench?" he sneered down at her. "Oh me, Kami no, your brother wait gomen your half-brother only goes for dead people and I happen to be very much alive" (for the time being that is). "I see then you will come to my castle with me and you will be a mentor for rin. Are we understood?" "Yes lord Sesshomaru." "Good then we will be leaving soon." He stated then walked off.

He had been fallowing her for some time now. Since the first time her had met up with her she had sparked his interest. He was able to smell the raw untamed power that laid within her she would be a great asset in battle if she was able to control that power. Also her dwelling was very mysterious, he had seen her jump into the well and knew that it transported her somewhere because right after she had gone in he had checked in there and she was no longer there. Also she was very beautiful. Although her hated to admit it she was highly attractive with curves in all the right places. There was just one odd thing about her; a spell had been placed on her. Whoever had done it was very skilled and hid it well but he was the great taiyouki. He couldn't be fooled. He couldn't tell what the spell was for or what it did but he knew it was there.
