Broken Heart

The beauty of Fuedal Japan surpasses everything oone would expect in a time of bloddy battles, wars and crazed youkai. You look at a sea of dew dotted grass, sparkling like a sea of diamonds and can be content thinking that if die you at that moment this would be the last thing you'd want to see. You would hope that wherever your spirit goes it's like this heaven on earth. What with the clear blue skies amd clean earthy air, this would make a great vacation spot, if you didn't mmind fearing for your life every minute of every day.

Sighing, Kagome pulled herself out of the well."vacation my foot. The minute I stepped out of the well, Inuyasha starts ranting and raving and calling me wench. Telling me to move my lazy ass.'

"There are jewel shards to find wench so move your ass!" she mimicked. Giggling she pulled her overstuffed yellow pack out of the well followed by her quiver and bow. Dropping her packe heavily on the ground she sat with a groan. The pack was extra heavy this time. She'd had to pack extra food this time. Inuyasha and shippo had the biggest stomach she had ever seen. 'Must be a youkai thing'

Today was the day. Today was the day she would tell Inuyasha of her true feelings. That she sees him as more than just a friend. That she found him cute and sweet and that she hoped he could find room in his heart for her also.

Mentally smacking herself she told herself to stop it. Here she was seventeen years old about to turn eighteen and she's acting like a giggley little school girl with her first crush.

Has she really been running around Fuedal Japan all these years looking for shards to a very powerful jewel that could grant your deepest wish? Taking a deep breath she shook her head thinking that this would make a pretty cool manga. It was a good thing the jewel was almost complete. She still had to get the shards from Kouga, who refused to give them up unless she became his mate in every sense of the word. She had to admit though, he would make a preety good lover. He had already proved just how good he was with his tongue and how he could recieve pleasure from the simplest acts.

Blushing, she shook her head. 'Bad Kagome. You should be thinking about Inuyasha... I just hope he's as good as Kouga though.'

She remembered how embarrasing that had been. Inuyasha had smelled Kouga all over her , especially on her hands (A/N: wink wink)and had refused to let her touch him for weeks. That had hurt more than he knew. But that was the past, this is now, the present.

Kikyo hadn't been spotted in month's, close to a year and Inuyasha was practically drooling over her. At least Kagome thought so. 'Hey a girl can have her hopes and dreams too.'

Glancing up a small squeak passed her lips. It was late and getting later. Inuyasha was going to kill her, she'd prefer having him kiss her and tell her he missed her and that he loved her and to never scare him like that again, but no time for daydreams, she had to get going. Grabbing her pack, she made her way into the forest, taking the path she created for traveling from village to well. Humming quietly under her breath she almost the noises coming from a small copse of trees to her right. Kagome grinned and passed it off as the young couple from the village wanting to be alone again.

Though her curiosity was eating at her she forced herself to keep moving. Her steps slowed when she sensed a youkai nearby. His aura felt slightly familiar but who it belonged to just kept escaping her. She was about to ignore it all together, since she didn't sense any animosity from the youkai, when a muffled shriek came from the direction of the youkai.

Dropping everything her 'time to kick some youkai ass' instincts picked up. Masking herself from the youkai's senses she crept silently into the tress. When she came across a clearing containing two bodies, she hid behind a tree, and counted to ten before turning with strung bow in hand.

She froze.

Before her lay a half naked and moaning Kikyo and a very naked Inuyasha, who was obviously enjoying himself if his grunts and growls were any indication. Kagome wacthed as Inuyasha slipped his moist shaft from Kikyo's body and held it out to her. Kikyo smiled seductively and took him in her hands, running her nail down him. Slowly lowering her head she slipped him fully into her mouth. Inuyasha instantly grabbed her head and thrust his hips forward, pounding into her mouth. His hips became more forceful and his thrusts longer. Grabbing a handful of Kikyo's hair he forced her to open her mouth wider as he spilled his seed into her mouth and down her chin.

Kagome put a hand over her mouth to stiffle her cry. How could he? He had acted as though he had forgotten Kikyo and yet here he is with his dick down her throat.

Tears slipped silently down her cheeks. She could feel her heart breaking into little pieces. Now she knew what it was like to die. To loose all you have ever dreamed. To know that all childhood dreams and fantasies are gone, dead, burned to ashes and spread in the four winds.

Turning she made her way just as silently back to where she had left her pack. Stooping to pick it up she came to a deicision.

"Never again Inuyasha, will I allow you to let me believe that I have a chance at your love. You only care about that dead bitch made of cold earth and decaying bones..." crying openly now she continued with her tirade not relizing she getting louder "you could have flesh and blood but you choose that...that...m m m monster... that lifeless b b b b itch. Breaking down completely she ran back to the well. screaming at the top of her lungs she left on final comment knowing the hanyou would hear it.

"Fuck you and keep your dead bitch!"

As Inuyasha pulled his clothes back on he though he heard something being carried to him on the wind.

"what is it?"

"Nothing." glancing at the... uhh... woman he had just...uhh...made love to he shrugged his shoulders and made to leave.

"Going back to ny reincarnate are you?" she mocked, still lying naked on the forest floor.

"Fuck you Kikyo." smiling she leaned up and thrust her breasts forward.

"No Inuyasha we already did that." glaring at her he made his way to the village.

It was a good five hours before Inuyasha relized that Kagome was late.

"Wheres kagome?" shippo cried. It had been days since he had seen her and she was suppose to have come back already. "Do you think she was attacked?"

"No! I didn't sense any demons nearby."

"Inuyasha we are really worried about Lady Kagome. Maybe you should go see if maybe something has happened?"

"Feh"

Walking the path he knew Kagome took to the well he followed it until he seen the familiar yellow pack. "Shit! Something did happen. KAGOME!!! KAGOME!!!" then he smelled it. Her tears. She'd been crying? But why? Following her scent back to the well. He felt assured that atleast she had returned home to her time. "I'll give her a few days."

Returning back to village her reporte what he had found and assured everyone she was fine.

I mean she was just a stupid human. Always given to emotional burst. shrugging it off, who cared anyway?

She was coming back. Right? I mean she always does.
