thinking of you......chapter one

'It's been so long since I seen him.' thought as she stared into the sky. Even though it's been only a couple months she felt as if it has been many years since she says her beloved sesshoumaru. The thought of sesshoumaru made her sad. Her face slowly faced the ground. 'Sesshoumaru...' she missed him so much. She should be mad at him but she still loves him. But it was okay she should hold on to the memories of him. Until one day she could be happy and smile at their stories. She should be glad that he was with her. And she is.

But everyday she thinks about him. He was always on her mind ever since what he did. Kagome shifted into a more comfortable position and sighed. "Oi Baka! Its late goes to sleep like normal humans!" a gruff voice shouted. The young hanyou took a seat next to kagome. "Why are you awake anyways? Something keeping you up?" he asked

Kagome shook her head and said sadly "nothings wrong, I'm fine." She turned around.

Inuyasha pulled her to his chest. "Tell me. I know you are lying. You haven't been talking with anybody, you always walk out in the middle of the night, and you avoided contact with me. Tell me what the fuck is going on?" he asked her. His face was straight and he really did want an answer.

Kagome couldn't tell him. She just couldn't. If she did he would probably get really mad and then go into a fit and try to kill sesshoumaru. She didn't want that to happen. "No I'm fine its just lots of tests and stress!" she put on a smile and tried to convince him.

Ever since the experience with sesshoumaru she didn't feel right to be with Inuyasha again. It felt wrong to be with him or to do anything with him. When ever kagome did something romantic with Inuyasha she found her self thinking that it was sesshoumaru that was next to her, teasing her, looking at her, basically doing anything at all with her. Kagome missed it all so much.

Inuyasha gently let go of her. He gave her one last glance and then walked out of the forest leaving kagome to think. Kagome watched as he walked off. She was so confused! She plopped down on the grass, letting it tickle her available flesh.

Sesshoumaru leaned against the tree and breathed. Letting the air dance around him.

"Sesshoumaru-sama! I have flowers for you!" Rin exclaimed as she handed him the flowers.

Sesshoumaru didn't even look at her. Rin pulled a sad face. Her sesshoumaru hasn't been the same. Usually sesshoumaru would at least give her a look but he didn't do anything else. He talked only if necessary and paid no attention to anyone. What was wrong with him? Was he angry at her? Was he thinking so much that he forgot her?

Rin took a seat next to him and dropped the flowers. "Sesshoumaru-sama what's wrong? Rin is worried!" she said sadly. She tugged at his sleeve.

Sesshoumaru said nothing but pat her head and said "do not concern me and go pick your flowers." Sesshoumaru this time looked at her.

Rin broke out in a huge smile and laughed then ran out in the field to play with jaken and pick more flowers for sesshoumaru-sama. Sesshoumaru will be fine after all he is the great lord sesshoumaru right?

All he could think about was her. His mind was plagued with her. Every time his eye lids shut all that floated in his head was a picture of kagome. Did she hate him now? Did she want to kill him? He couldn't stand the look in his eyes when he strike her. Complete fear was in her eyes. She was afraid of him. He didn't like it one little bit. He wanted to wipe away all the thoughts of her being afraid of him.

He still loved kagome, he couldn't deny it. He thought of her he dreamt of her, what else is there?

Sesshoumaru sighed. If only he could tell her. If only he could go to her on bended knees and beg her to forgive him for what he has done? Maybe she will accept the apology and go back to him. But he knew that vision was impossible.

But since he wanted to see her one last time he-

"Mi lord!! Milord!!" a voice croaked, breaking his thoughts.

Sesshoumaru glanced to his left. "Nani jaken?" he asked him a bit annoyed.

"There has been many reports about naraku attacking your lands. One fifth of your lands had already been destroyed!" the green toad squawked out.

Sesshoumaru's eyes widened. One fifth of his lands!? It has only been a few days and naraku has one fifth?! This was impossible! He would have to fight naraku, but he couldn't do that himself. Sesshoumaru was no fool naraku had great power, so did he but he couldn't possibly take on all of his minions alone! He would have to ask ....Inuyasha. Oh how he loathed his half brother he was nothing but a nuisance! But he didn't have a choice.

Sesshoumaru's eyes narrowed and he said to jaken "get ready ah and UN. Prepare Rin we are leaving."

Jaken stumbled to his great lord. "Mi lord May I ask where we are to be going?"

"No" he said.

Sango sighed. Her feet were killing her. They have been working to the dogs thanks to Inuyasha. "Inuyasha!" kagome's voice peeped out. "Give us a rest we've been traveling for hours! Sango is tired, mirokou's probably dehydrated and I am hungry!"

"No way wrench!" Inuyasha fought back. "We will get the damn jewel shards even if we have to go through a pit of lava! Now keep moving and- oi! What are you doing?!" Inuyasha screamed

Mirokou had already sat down and took a drink. "Inuyasha we are humans" he reminded him. "You are half demon you know just as well that we need our rest." Kagome and sango took a seat next to him.

"Your right Mirokou." Kagome said.

"Yeah for once I agree with the monk." Sango chipped in

"Why thank you sango it is so nice to have a beautiful woman like you to be on my side!" Mirokou chirped.

Sango glared dangerously at the houshi. "Don't be too happy you pervert." She stated her eyes on fire.

"Oi get up this moment!" Inuyasha flared "how dare you rest right now get up!! You should all be listening to me, we can rest later! Oi bitches are you listening?!" Inuyasha was very mad now.

Kagome looked up at him. "Inuyasha please let us rest and why are you being so mean to me?" she said. Her fake crying would come in handy now. You see kagome was practicing for quite a while now so she figured this would work.

Inuyasha froze. "Are you crying?" he looked closer. "Wait doesn't cry! We can rest look were all set any ways! Just don't cry!" he screamed

Kagome stopped the tears right away. "Arigatou Inuyasha!" she skipped back to was sango was and took out four drinks for sango Mirokou and Shippou.

Inuyasha just noticed that he had been tricked. His face was red now! How dare that bitch go trick him?! "Kagome you get your ass over here right now and-"

He was cut off. Inuyasha snapped up and drew his fang. Kagome took notice and said. "Nani? What's wrong? Whose coming?" she wondered

Inuyasha growled loudly and said "it's the bastard, sesshoumaru". Kagome froze. Sesshoumaru what was wrong this time? Maybe sesshoumaru just wanted the sword, yes maybe that was it. Kagome could only pray that he didn't want something with her. Kagome was still a bit shocked though.

Before anyone else could comment or say anything Inuyasha recklessly charged at the bushes. "Come out you bastard! Fight me like a man!" he swung his sword aimlessly in the air.

"I have missed you as well little brother." Sesshoumaru said coldly.

And in the clearing was stood sesshoumaru with his tokijin, defending Rin and the others. Inuyasha pushed harder. "What do you want now sesshoumaru? The tetsiuga(sp?)?" Inuyasha leaped back "well you can't have it."

The next words sent sesshoumaru shocked. "Because you are a reject!"

Yes it meant different things but to him it meant he was rejected, from one person. Kagome. Speaking of which where was she? His honey eyes scanned the battle ground looking for her. She was next to the taijiya and the houshi. And she was staring right at him. He found himself afraid to look at her eyes. They could hold emotions he didn't want to know about. So Sesshoumaru's glance turned away to Inuyasha once more. "I have not come to fight." He tucked away his tokijin. He walked towards Inuyasha.

"You're not fooling me one bit! Your probably going to just take the tetsiuga when you have the chance!" Inuyasha shouted.

"Foolish half breed!" he stated. "It has come to my attention that naraku had destroyed one fifth of my lands. I have come to make a pack with you."

"Like I'm going to believe that!" Inuyasha snorted.

"Do you think I would be fool enough to attack naraku myself with out any plans? Do you think I would just attack blindly at him? This sesshoumaru thinks not. I am not as stupid as you are. And I will not lose my lands to some one as filthy as naraku." Sesshoumaru stated, trying to convince Inuyasha.

"Hell no!" Inuyasha screeched. Well, sesshoumaru tried. But now its kagome's turn

Kagome thought about it for a minute. She would think to say no but... sesshoumaru. She wanted to know why he betrayed her. But then maybe he just hates humans and he just wanted to kill her. No she couldn't turn her back on him. "Wait Inuyasha, you should give him at least a try!" kagome peeked out.

Sesshoumaru's eyes widened.
