Chapter One

Kagome sighed as she walked. Her mom was always talking about how she should be more 'lady-like' and stop getting into fights. This was their third time moving in the last month.

'Those stupid preps! Always criticizing the ....... er....... depressed? Yeah we'll go with depressed.' she thought. Kagome Higurashi. Bad ass fighter and half youkai half miko. Yeah, her family had issues. what family doesn't? 'Gosh! Hit one prep and they all join in! Three schools! Not one elegible fighter!'

Today was her first day at Shikon Kira Ono High. And for once they didn't make you wear uniforms. And she had to walk to school.

'I'm going to be the laughingstalk! No ride! Great! Just cause my bike got hit by some revengious prep!' Her mind went back to the last school she was at.

~*!Flashback!*~

"Hey Kagome! Nice necklace! Where'd ya get it? The thrift store?" said Yuka the school slut.

"No. I stole it from your head. You got a lot of empty space up there." she replied as she walked away.

"Why you little--!" Yuka cried as she lunged at Kagome. Kagome side stepped, grabbed her arm and flung her at the wall. Kicking the unconsious girl, Kagome started to walk away.

"Hey you bitch! Get back here!" cried Yuka's friend Sakura. She lunged at Kagome and tried to grab her hair. Kagome sighed. 'Great.......'

She dodged , flipped the prep, and threw her out the window.

"See ya, class." she said to the class. She went and got on her motorcycle.

"You! Your the one who wrecked Kara's face last week!" cried someone somewhere. Out of nowhere a car came right at Kagome. Kagome jumped off her bike right before the car hit her.

Kagome sighed. No one else was walking. She was almost to her school when...

"Hey! Hey you!" someone yelled. Kagome turned around. Running toward her was a boy with brown hair.

"Excuse me! Are you the new student? Kagome Higurashi?" he asked.

"Yeah. Who wants to know?" she replied.

"Oh, sorry. I'm Hojo Takamarsu. I'm suposed to show you around school." he said. He started to stare at her shirt. It said 'QWERTY!' in blood red letters and looked like it was dripping blood. "What does that mean?" he asked.

"Now, why would I tell you? Thats my secret!" she whispered. Hojo blushed. "Who's the toughest person here?"

"Er........ I don't really know...." he said.

"What?! You go here and don't even know the toughest person?! What do you do?! Study?!" she yelled.

"Er....... yeah?" he said.

"I'm gonna be my own guide, thank you." she said.

"Okay then. See ya around then." he said. He ran a head of her. Kagome stopped. She'd seen some pretty bad schools but not any that were like....... like trash! She started to walk to the front.

As she was walking many people stopped to look at her. True with her black hair and natural blue highlights, electric blue eyes, and perfect body she was beautiful. But she didn't show it. She wore black, baggy pants with chains, a black, baggy T-shirt, black combat boots, and a black choker with a little crucifix on it. You would never see her where a dress. EVER. Now, most of these guys were going to act like geeks trying to please her because they thought she was 'the most beautifulest girl in the world'.

Kagome snarled their way. The boys looked stunned then went back to talking to their friends. All the girls shot her death glares. She returned them with an icy glare.

As Kagome came to the front, a group of guys stepped in her way.

"If you want to go in then you'll have to give us something in return." said a guy with black, wavy hair. He looked at her with a smirk.

She smirked back."Okay then." He smirk grew. She then gave an evil smile. She then kneed him in his groin. He fell on his knees and gasped.

"Hey! Get back here, bitch!" he called as she walked into the school. Kagome walked. And walked. And walked. Then it dawned on her. She didn't even know where she was going.

"Oi, ya lost?" asked someone behind her. Kagome turned around. Standing right there was a girl with brown hair and green eyes wearing a black tanktop, black baggy pants, chains everywhere, and black chucks.

"Hai. I just started today. I can't seem to find the office. Could you show me where it is?" she asked in her fake sweetness.

"Don't try to fool me. I saw you. You're a natural cold-hearted bitch. But, hai, I'll show you where to go. Maybe we can be friends. My names Sango by the way. No new kid has ever stood up to Naraku." Sango started to talk to Kagome as she walked." They either do what he says or turn and flee. Sorry didn't catch yer name."

"That's because I didn't tell you." she replied coldly." I have no interest in being friends. I just want to get to the office. I'll tell you, though. It's Kagome."

By the time she was done, they were at the office." Thank you. I appreciate your help." Kagome said. She walked onto the office. Sitting behind the desk was a lady with black hair and red eyes. Kagome sniffed. 'Wind witch youkai' thought Kagome. The sign on her desk said 'Kagura Hirokuso'.

"Another human girl? Ugh! Second door to the right. Thats the human principle." Kagura said.

"Thanks. But which is the demon principle?" Kagome asked emotionlessly.

"Why?" snapped Kagura. Kagome's only reply was a letting her compressing spell drop. Kagura gasped and pointed to the first door on her left. Kagome emotionlessly walked towards it. She knocked once. She didn't like to wait, so after the first knock she walked right in.

Sitting behind the desk was an old guy.

"Don't you kids know how to knock?" he snapped.

"I did." she replied in her usual voice. Emotionless." I have no use for wasted time."

"Well, okay. Your name?" he asked.

"Kagome Higurashi. Specialties: archery, art, poetry, and P.E. Straight A's all my life. Anything else?"

"Um.... Age? Weight? Height?"

"17, 141, and 5'. Anything else?"

"N- No"

"Well?"

"W-W-What?"

"My schedule?"

"Oh! Oh yes!" he handed her a slip of paper. It said:

1st hour- Calculus

2nd hour- P.E.

3rd hour- Art

4th hour- Archery

5th hour- English

6th hour- History

"Thanks........?"

"Catamari-sensei" he said.

"Thanks, Catamari-sensei" She then walked out. Kagura sent her a glare. Kagome sneered. She started walking to her new class. ' 250, 251, 252,......AH HAH! 260!' She walked in. Everyone looked up and stared at her.

"Excuse me. May I help you?" asked the teacher.

"My names Kagome. I'm a new student here." she said. She then handed the teacher her form.

"Well, I'm Hotaru-sensei. Why don't you tell the class about yourself?" said Hotaru-sensei.

"My names Kagome and I like archery and I hate you all." she said. Everyone stared at her dumbfoundly. Others were staring at her, but not dumbfoundly. And one was just looking out the window.

"Um...... Why don't you go sit by Sesshomaru. Sesshomaru, could you please raise your hand?" Hotaru-sensei said. Kagome knew who he was even before he raised his hand.

"Sesshou-chan!" she cried. She ran and hugged him. Everyone gasped.

"Hi ,Kags." he said in his emotionless voice. " Get off me and sit down. You still have much to learn. You're far behind."

Everyone gasped. No one had ever heard Sesshomaru Tashiou be kind to anyone. Now this strange girl comes and hugs him and he doesn't even send her to detention. All the boys looked jealous that they hadn't gotten hugs from Kagome. All the girls looked jealous that they hadn't gotten to hug Sesshomaru. Then the bell rang.

The girls all shot her death glares as they passed her. She smirked.

" Kagome. Let me see your schedule." Sesshomaru said. She handed him her schedule. He glanced over it then handed it back to her. " Looks like we have the next two classes together. How bout I beat you in hand to hand comabat?" he said.

" Bring it!" she said. " Beat ya there!" she cried before going her full speed. If you had been in the hall you would have seen two blurs go right past you. Kagome was in the lead when Sesshomaru said " Look out. It's Inuyasha." He slowed down quick enough to dodge him. Kagome didn't see it coming, so instead of dodging, she crashed into something. Kagome looked up. Standing in front of her was a boy who looked like Sesshomaru, but more childish.

"Kagome. That half-breed didn't hurt you did he?" asked Sesshomaru with a smidge of concern in his voice. Kagome shook her head.

"Half-breed, eh?" she said. " Watch where your going next time!" she snapped at the boy. He reacted in stunned silence. As Kagome turned to resume the race, the boy grabbed her.

" Watch what you say, wench!" he yelled. " Never speak to Inuyasha Tashiou like that again. You should treat your superiors better."

"A Tashiou? How can you, a worthless little half-breed, be a Tashiou? Tashiou's are pure youkai. And I personally know the Tashious. Very nice group of demons they are. Never ever try and fool me again, half-breed! I'll rip your head right off next time." she all but yelled.

" Why you little--!"

" Inuyasha. I can clarify that Kagome means every word. I would not cross her." Sesshomaru said. Inuyasha stared at Sesshomaru then to Kagome then back to Sesshomaru. Then his eyes went all huge. He started to stutter.

" W-w-what the?! Sesshomaru and a-a-a HUMAN?! What is going on?! Has the end of the world come?!?!" he started screaming. Kagome back-handed him.

"Kami, will you shut up!" she yelled." And don't ever refer to me as 'a human' ever again. The names Higurashi. Kagome Higurashi. And Sesshomaru, is he really a Tashiou?" she asked.

"Hai, unfortunately." Sesshomaru said.

"Then why haven't I seen him before?" she asked.

"Because I'm a 'bastard' as everyone says. But I'm still a Tashiou. Now that introductions have been made and info handed out, WHY IN SEVEN HELLS IS SESSHOMARU HANGING OUT WITH YOU?!?!?"

"Because she's the only friend you'll ever see me with." Sesshomaru said.

"You see, when we were little our parents were bestfriends.Our parents brought us to their get togethers and let us play together. Eventually I rubbed off in him and him on me. Thats why I can be an emotionless bitch sometimes and he can actually BE emotional. See?"

"Uh.........No?"

"Inu-chan, what class do you have next?" she asked.

"P.E."

"Good. We'll beat you there." she then started running again. Sesshomaru and Inuyasha looked at each other then started running too.

"Half-breed. Why do insist on being rude to everyone?" asked Kagome as the guys caught up to her.

"How do you know I'm rude to everyone?" he sounded surprised.

"Gossip. Before you guys got here I heard tiny snipits from passing girls. Obviously, you're a player. Just don't try that with me. Who are the other players?" she asked.

"Naraku, Kouga, Bankotsu, Hiten, and Onigumo." he replied.

"What do they look like?" she asked.

"Well you'll know 'em when ya see 'em. I heard you already met Naraku. Onigumo's his twin. Kouga has black hair up in a high pony tail and blue eyes. Bankoutsu has black hair in a braid with a purple star thing on his forhead. Hiten has a boyish face with black hair in a braid. And Miroku has black hair in a small pony tail." Inuyasha said.

"Hmm. Are they all good fighters?" she asked.

"They should be. I mean come on. All the 'players' are leaders of a gang. I'm leader of the White Fangs." he said.

"Does Sesshou-chan have a gang?" she asked. Inuyasha started laughing.

"You call Sesshomaru Sesshou-chan?! Thats so--!" he was cut off as Sesshomaru hit him in the head.

"Yes I do. I'm leader of the Silver Dogs. We have tatoos. Wanna see?" he said. Kagome nodded. Sesshomaru lifted his sleeve. On his upper arm, there was a silver dog with a crescent moon on its forhead on a cliff.

"Hmm. Cool. Hey, Sesshomaru. Can I..."

"No"

"Please?"

"No"

"Sesshomaru Tashiou! You let me be in your gang or I swear I'll join another!!!!!!" she scrame.

"Okay okay! Just stop that annoying noise!" he said while he and Inuyasha covered their sensitive ears.

"Yes!" she said. They went off to P.E.
