Hot Springs Mayham

Welcome to the first chapter of Call My Bluff. I know I said I didn't want to post a new story without finishing Resist Me Not but I just really want to write this story. Anyways, as the name says, basically the story is based around Sesshomaru calling a bluff Kagome comes up with. He calls it and she ends up at his castle with him, under the stipulation that she can't leave until he says so. So what's going to happen? Well I'm sure some of you can guess but whatever! Anyways enjoy the first chapter!

It was a normal day in Feudal Japan. The day was hot but nice. The slight breeze tickled the faces of travelers, giving them joy to be out on the open road instead of cramped up in an old village.

Among the travelers walking on the beautiful day were two companions. One was a hanyou, a dog hanyou, wearing a red outfit. The other was a teenage girl, looking to be around the age of eighteen, who had long black hair and glistening blue eyes. She was dressed funny in some sort of strangely made pants, which she called jeans, a short sleeved top that was a light blue, bringing out her eyes.

The two companions were heading west, on a mission to collect shikon jewel shards.

The shikon jewel was a special jewel that granted its demon wearer more power than it should have and, if one could weild the power of the shikon, give him total dominance over the land they knew as Japan.

The two travelers walked all day, chatting once an while but otherwise just enjoying the fresh air.

Usually the two companions would be traveling with four others. A fire cat demon known as Kilala, her owner and demon slayer, Sango, a perverted monk, Miroku, and the raven-haired beauty's surrogate son, Shippo. But the four had left to investigate a disturbance they had heard about in Sango's village.

"InuYasha why do you have to be so stubborn. If Sesshomaru comes then just tell him the truth." The raven-haired young woman told the hanyou, InuYasha.

"Look Kagome, my brother will just tell us to buzz off because he's a self ritious ass." InuYasha told Kagome, the beautiful creature beside him.

Kagome just sighed and shook her head.

She didn't understand InuYasha and his half brother Sesshomaru.

InuYasha was a half demon. His mother was a human and his father was a full blooded dog youkai. He could fight and he wielded the great sword Tetsusaiga.

Sesshomaru was full blooded dog youkai. His mother and father were both full blodded youkai. He could fight very, very well and wielded the healing sword, Tenseiga and the demon sword, Toukijin. He was also the ruler of the western lands.

Kagome just thought it was pointless for them to fight and bicker but they did it anyways.

InuYasha and Kagome traveled until nightfall before they set up camp. Kagome cooked some raman while InuYasha got firewood. After dinner was served and everything was put away Kagome decided to try her luck.

"InuYasha is there a hot spring near by?" Kagome asked him.

"Yes but you don't need to go." InuYasha told her.

"Come on InuYasha, what way is it?" Kagome asked him.

After a moment of silence and thinking InuYasha sighed.

"It's about fifteen minutes that way." InuYasha sighed, pointing west.

Kagome smiled at the hanyou and set off, intending on have a nice, relaxing bath.

How wrong she was.

She got into the clearing where the beautiful hot spring was and sighed.

She went to pull her shirt over her head when an icy voice stopped her.

"Wench, what are you doing on my lands?" The icy voice asked her.

Kagome sighed, putting her shirt back in place and turning around to find the lord of the west, Sesshomaru, leaning against a tree looking at her with a glare.

"Listen Sesshomaru, InuYasha and I are only here because we're following a lead on the shikon. Otherwise we wouldn't be here." Kagome told him.

"Naraku, the baka hanyou, is dead I hear and his minions would be foolish to come on these lands. If they are not here you do not need to be either." Sesshomaru told her cooly.

"Yeah, well, until we confirm that we're gunna be traveling here." Kagome told him, getting aggravated because she really wanted a bath.

"You dare speak to me, Seshsomaru, with such disrespect?" Sesshomaru asked her, narrowing his eyes.

"Listen Sesshomaru, I'm not trying to disrespect you or cause any problems but we're going to just check out the lead we have and then we'll be gone." Kagome sighed, knowing there was still and argument present.

"Miko, you do not tell me what you will and will not do on my lands." Sesshomaru growled.

"Why is everything such a battle with you? Don't you have anything better to do than torment us when we come on 'your lands'?" Kagome asked him hotly.

"You are my lands and you will do as I say or you will suffer the consequences." Sesshomaru told her.

"Oh my god! You're so thick!" Kagome yelled in frustration, clenching her fists.

Sesshomaru just quirked and eyebrow at the frustrated miko.

"Okay Mr.Peeping Tom can you leave now so I can have a bath or do I need permission for that to?" Kagome asked him annoyed.

"I do not know who this 'Tom' person is but I do not wish to leave right now and, seeing as I may do as I wish, I think I will stay." Sesshomaru announced.

Kagome threw her hands up in exasperation and tried to calm her tweaked nerves.

'Calm down Kagome. Just walk away and have an extra long bath tomorow.' Kagome told herself.

With that note Kagome went to walk away, back to her camp.

"I did not say you were dismissed." Sesshomaru told her, standing in front of her.

"You've got to be kidding me! First you don't want me on your lands and now you won't let me go!" Kagome yelled.

Sesshomaru was smirking inwardly. Watching the miko fascinated him. He knew many humans but none were as fiery as she was.

"That is correct." Sesshomaru replied cooly.

"You know what fine!" Kagome replied, walking over to the hot spring and plopping down on a rock with her legs and arms crossed.

Kagome watched as Sesshomaru walked back over to where she sat and just looked at her.

"What?" Kagome asked him, slightly creeped out with his intense gaze.

She didn't get a reply.

"Why are you staring at me? It's creepy." Kagome told him, shifting under his gaze.

Sesshomaru turned and sat down on a rock that was across from her.

Kagome knew she was staring at her again, well her back, and she tried to ignore it was but it was extremely annoying.

"Okay stop it!" Kagome told him, turning around to find Sesshomaru fighting off a smirk.

"Oh you think this is funny eh?" Kagome asked him, standing up, extremely pissed.

Sesshomaru walked so he was standing in front of her, very close.

Kagoime was getting annoyed with him standing over her so she did the one thing that she knew she could do.

She pushed him.

It took Sesshomaru by suprise and, before he could regain his balance, he had fallen into the hot spring.

When he looked at the miko and she on the ground laughing her head off. He growled and she just kept laughing.

She was going to pay for that.

Yeah, wait to go Kagome! The next chapter will be someone funny and it does involve Sesshomaru getting Kagome back but the next chapter will not hold the bluff that leads to Kagome being with Sesshomaru at his castle...or does it? Stay tuned and please review!
