Your wish is my command

Chapter 1

Rain poured down onto the earth.

Feet slowly made their way across the clearing. The shadow of a figure showed in the dark. A moan of pain escaped the pink lips of the figure. Brown eyes barely looked out of half opened eye lids. Teeth clenched together almost painfully.

~~~~~ Flashback

"WINDSCAR!" shouted a deep voice. "GO!" shouted another. A blue streak followed the Yellow, more larger one. Two more streaks came along with them. One of them was another arrow, while the other was like blue lighting.

Kagome was a few yards away the hanyou, while both Sango and Miroku were standing next to each other, barely alive. Four more figures were there too. Kikyo was standing by the line of trees with her bow in her hands. Kouga was there too. He was on the ground, with one knee up while the other was stretched out in front of him. His eyes, lifeless. Ginta(sp?) was standing next to him. Unshed tears in his eyes. Sesshoumaru was a few feet away from Kikyo, also by the tree line. A large red gash was on his chest. Tokijin was in his hand.

They all watched as they hit their goal. Bright yellow light filled all around them.

~Thump~

A body crashed down upon the earth. She, Kagome, was one of the only survivors. When she had woken up, she found some bodies around her. The only ones close to her was Kouga, and his partner, Ginta(sp?). They always said they'd stick with her till the end. She couldn't find the bodies of her other friends, though

Tears ran down her cheeks. A sob passed her lips. She pushed herself up and managed to stand up, once more. A winced in pain and gripped her arm. It was broken. It broke when she was tossed into the air, along with her comrades, and hit a tree.

She sighed when the pain faded away. She slowly made her way. As she walked a saw another figure. She squinted, trying to see who it was. It....was Sesshoumaru. His gash was bleeding and he was leaning to the side. His eyes were closed as he stood there.

"....Sesshoumaru..." She whispered. His eyes opened slowly and stared at her. She looked down. More tears gathered in her eyes. 'Maybe, just maybe, someone else-' before she finished her thoughts, he interrupted. "They're all gone." He said. The tears flowed down more freely. She took one step at a time, slowly, getting closer.

When she was only a foot away, she looked up at him. She lowered her gaze. "They're all....gone?" she asked. He nodded slowly. "...Hai." he whispered. She looked away, almost shamefully. "I...shouldn't have lived. I should have died with the rest." She whispered into the wind.

He was silent for a moment. The wind blew, as the rain came down harder. "Is that your wish?" he asked. She looked up at him. "What?" she asked. "Is that your wish?" he repeated. She stared a bit, and watched as he brought his clawed hand up. The tips glowed with poison.

"Your wish is my command." he whispered. "Why?" she asked. "Is this not what you want?" he asked. She didn't answer. "Why...would you do that for me?" she asked. "Its your pain. I can no longer bare it." he said. She looked away. "Before, can you......Do one last thing for me?" she asked. He nodded.

She looked at him. ".....Kiss me." she whispered. She expected him to slash at her, but he simply nodded. He lowered his hand, along with his head. Their noses touched, before their lips connected. His arm came around her waist, while the other came behind her neck, tilting her head for him.

He felt more tears roll down her cheeks. Rain soaked them as they kissed. His lips moved against hers, as his hands roamed her body. He was careful of her injuries.

Her eyes closed as one of her arms came up and around his slender neck. A few moments later, she heard him whisper. "Goodbye, Kagome." A deep pain entered her, as her eyes widened. This was her wish, and he granted it. As her last breath was drawn, she whispered her last words.

"....Thank...you..." Her eyes lost their light, as emptiness filled them. Her body began to slide down his, for her legs gave out from under her. He grabbed her before she hit the ground. He gently placed her down on the grass. She wished for death and so he granted it.

There was no need for her anymore, and with no friends to protect and stay with her, Sadness would have surly swallowed her whole. He knelt down and placed his hands together. He gave her a silent prayer and stood up. He glanced at her face once more, before he walked away.

"Farewell, Kagome."

The rain lit up and small rays of sunlight peeked over the horizon. You could see a dark figure walk across the clearing. It reached the tree line, and never looked back.
