Nothing is Right

Everything was supposed to be good. Everything was supposed to be right. That's how it was supposed to be. The hanyou, Naraku, had been defeated by the joined efforts of Sango, Miroku, Kagome and InuYasha. They had finally done it and everything was supposed to be good forever now. The jewel was finished, and Kagome to make a wish on it if and when she wanted to.

Kagome was near tears as she watched the scene play before her eyes as if in slow motion. She had gone walking into the forest to find InuYasha, only to find him currently busy with the one she was reincarnated from. It made her sick, made her nauseated to watch him press her up against the tree. To kiss the woman who was meant to be dead. That was supposed to be Kagome. She was supposed to be the one that he loved, the one that he looked at with those golden loving eyes.

But no. It was Kikyo. Not Kagome. Kagome was left, standing in the bush and watching from a distance. Silent until tears welled in her eyes and she released a muffled sob. Her chocolate brown eyes looking up, only to find Kikyo, covering herself with InuYasha's shirt, and InuYasha staring straight at Kagome.

The girl stared back. Meeting his golden eyes with brown ones. Both silent. Until Kagome spoke first.

"How...could....you...?..."

The hanyou just glared at her and looked back to Kikyo who quickly turned and headed away from the area. Then, the hanyou turned back to face Kagome.

"I can do what I want bitch. I don't need you anymore. The jewels finished. I can take it and become a full demon. Now since you're here, hand over the jewel, it will save me loads upon loads of trouble."

He crossed his arms over his bare chest. Having given his shirt to Kikyo, now only had his red pants on. Kagome stared at him in disbelief. He crushes her heart and then demands that he hands over the jewel so that he and Kikyo can have a good life together?

Finally coming upon the word she had been looking for she started at him. "No."

He sighed as if she were the most annoying being in the history of forever. And took a few steps towards her. "I am currently busy, as you have seen, but I will get the jewel. You can't run home for the simple fact that earlier today the well was sealed by a demon attack. Ill come for the jewel Kagome."

And with that he turned on his heel and walked away from her in the direction that Kikyo had earlier gone. Leaving the girl standing there. Her jaw dropped open in what you could call shock. The well was sealed? This she would have to see for herself.

No...everything wasn't good, and everything wasn't even close to right.
