" Kagome do not worry, everything will be fine. I'm confused. Are you crying because Inuyasha goes to Kikyou or are you crying because you have gotten over him?" Sango said while running her hand gently through Kagome's hair.

They were sitting at the side of a hot spring on a rock sticking out at the side. The grass was at least 2 feet tall giving them some privacy with dandelions, daisies and other simple flowers growing closer to the hot spring. The hot spring had a large boulder in the back and large rocks around the rest of it except for where somkeone had moved one to make a little walk way. The stem floating in the air was soothing to Kagome's mind and body.

"Sango I think I am crying for both. You know it's been 5 years and at spent 3 of those ears pinning after Inuyasha knowing he would never come to me. Then suddenly one day I seem to wake up and it no longer hurts for him to protect her before me or for him to say he loves her and to ignore me. I know though that goign to Kikyou definitly isn't safe or right. She is cruel and I fear for him because even though I do not love him I still consider him my friend."

Kagome smiled when she finished speaking. She never felt pain from Inuyasha's little trips to Kikyou.

"One day I woke up and I knew that I was over him, I had finally moved on. Sango it was like my heart could finally just relax!"

" Oh Kagome I am so happy for you. We have all watched you cry at night when he left for so long. If it had continued we would have left him just so you could get better."

Kagome hugged Sango strongly giving her an extra squeeze. Sango was her true friend. Her soul sister. If she hadn't ment Sango she would not be where she is now.

Sango had taught her how to wield a sword, how to aim better. She had taught her some matial arts and even though Kagome could not master any of them she knows enough to protect herself until they can help her.

" Sango I think I want to spend sometime by myself so I can compose myself." Kagome said standing and wiping her wet cheeks.

" Okay, why don't you soak in the hot tub we've had a long day and her body and mind needs a good soak." Sango stood and gave Kagome one last hug before turning and making her way back to their camp site.

Kagome removed her clothing and untied her hair. Sango was right. She had learnt new moves today and travelled with out Kirara and Inuyasha to carry her.

' Even though I have had more heartbreak in the past 5 years I can't deny that I have a nice body now!'

Where Kagome use to have baby fat was now a toned stomach with slight indentations indicating hidden abs. Her legs were now toned and slim, matching her arms and stomache. Her face had thinned out showing high cheek bones and large chocolate coloured eyes with long curled black eye lashes. Pouty lips and nicely arched eyebrows. Her hair was now waist length and a light brown. Lightened from all the sun that she has put her hair in. The sun also pulled out another colour in her hair, copper red.

Kagome stepped into the hot spring. She closed her eyes and dosed off piecefully. her eyelids fluttered and she snapped her eyes open. A strong aura was at the hot spring, one she did not recognize. Turning her head she saw an old man who back was hunched and had tattered and torn clothing on his back.

Kagome reached for her towel and held it out while getting out of the hot spring. She wrapped the towel around her body and walked over to the elderly man.

" Sir are you okay?" She asked gentlely.

" Young lady could you please get me some food. I am old and have not eaten for a few days." His voice crackled and croaked as he spoke. After the sentence his breath started to wheeze.

" Of course sir! Just let me get dressed and I'll bring you to our camp site." She said as though the thought never crossed her mind to say no. Which it hadn't.

Kagome hid in the grass a little distance away and put on her clothes then started towards the man to lead him to the camp site when he stopped her.

" Ah, child do not bring me come back here with the food please." He wheezed out.

Kagome nodded her head and sprinted towards the camp site.

Everyone at the camp was sitting around the camp fire waiting for Kagome to come back when she burst through the forest. She ran to her yellow bag, grabbed some snacks she had and rushed back out, not listening to any of the questions that they were asking her.

When Kagome came back she could no longer see the old man. She tried yelling that she had the food but no one answered. Figuring he left all ready she picked up her towel and turned to walk towards the camp site when the old man appeared behind her.

" Oh my! You scared me I had thought that you had left." She said panting formthe run and from being scared.

" No child, I was simply checking around the area to make sure it was secure." He was no longer wheezing and his voice was becoming stronger and more solid.

" Why where you making sure the area was secure?"

" Did you bring the food?" He asked not commanding but not gently.

" Yes, here you go. " Kagome held out her hand to give him the food for him.

" Thank you." He said taking the food.

" Why where you ch-" kagome was cut off by a bright light that came from the old man.

When Kagome opened her eyes she saw a young man who could only be called gorgous.

" Miss Kagome, you freely offered me food with out second thought. You did not disrespect me in any way and were very kind. I wilgrant youyour deepest desire if you will except this in repayment."

" How do you know my name? I don't know, you don't have to repay me."

" I am a Fairlan. I grant peoples desires to those who deserve it. And you my child, deserve. Now know more questions. For I can not reveal much about my people."

Kagome still in shock just stared for a moment absorbing the information.

" Do you except my gift."

" Yes. Thank you for your kindness but I do not knowmy own deepest desire."

" I can see into your heart. When you wake up tomorrow it will be like you have lived your life the way anyone of who and what you would. You will know everything you need to. If training is needed. You will know it. Now go child. You make take your food for I do not need it."

" Thank you kind Fairlan."

With that he dissappeared and Kagome made her way back to the camp sit eto find everyone in their sleepng bags asleep.

She made herself comfortable and wondered what she would becme tomorrow.

Fairlan-- Made up species; it is a fairy that grants people and demons their deepest desire if they are deserving.

As soon as he saw her he could not control his beast. He wanted her and if he didn't have her no one would. His beast broke free and he was thrown into the back. Gods help him for he had no more control and he was going for her.
