Chapter 1:

Akihiko... the love demon?

"INUYASHA, your such a pansy." Kagome impatiently said as she plucked another thorn from Inuyasha's face, making him wail in protest.

"Whatcha call me wench!" Inuyasha snapped his face away from her hand.

"Nothing Inuyasha." Kagome replied, grabbing his chin forcing him to look at her as she tried to resume to pluck more thorns off of his face. He pulled back, his face hardened and his eyes bore into hers.

"WHAT DID YOU SAY!"

"NOTHING, I think that fall did something more than get you covered in cactus thorns, if you know what I mean, gosh, your hallucinating now!" Kagome said, trying as hard as she could not to laugh. Her companions didn't fair as well as she did.

"WHAT ARE YOU LAUGHING AT!!!" The hanyou stood up, ignoring the pain from the thorns on his face, ready to stomp over to the group and beat each and every person who were laughing at him.

Kagome let a small giggle escape her, "Oh, Inuyasha, nothings going on, just sit down and---."

*THUD*

"OH, I'm SO SORRY Inuyasha, I didn't mean to do that." She said to the flat-faced hanyou.

"KAGOME!!" Inuyasha yelled while removing his dirt covered face from the ground.

"I'm said I was sorry!" Kagome pouted childishly.

Inuyasha crossed his arms, and turned away from her. A 'feh' soon followed.

"Let me take the rest of the thorns out Inuyasha."

Wincing from the tiny pricks of pain in his face, Inuyasha walked back over to Kagome. "Fine, just don't call me a pansy again." Inuyasha said as he sat down in front of her.

"Oh, and to think I thought you didn't hear me." Kagome said as she grab his chin and reinitiated plucking the last few thorns out.

"I heard! OWW! NOT SO HARD." He yelled as she pulled out the last one.

"Pansy." She whispered under her breath. A growl was followed as Kagome found herself pounced on by Inuyasha.

"I SAID NOT TO CALL ME THAT AGAIN!"

"I didn't do anything Inuyasha, see, you are hallucinating." Kagome said with a giggle.

"You called me a pansy! I heard! I'm a demon, remember!"

"Yeah, yeah, I know. Now can you get off me now, I promise I won't call you a pansy anymore, and to think I was in a good mood!"

"FEH, WHATEVER." Inuyasha said, getting up. But to his surprise Kagome didn't.

Noticing that Kagome didn't rise when he did, "Kagome, what is it?" Inuyasha questioned.

"Inuyasha, do you feel it?" Kagome asked wide eyed.

"Feel what?"

"LOOK, something's coming, and it has a jewel shard!" Kagome yelled pointing west.

"What is it?" Sango asked.

"Whatever it is, its heading in our direction." Inuyasha answered, "Everybody ready, it's almost here, AND IT SMELLS LIKE NARAKU!"

"Shippo, get behind Kagome,"

"Uh, ya, ok" Shippo said jumping behind Kagome.

"Inuyasha, is it Naraku?" Sango asked with a vengeful glint in her eye.

"NO, I think it might be one of his spawns."

"Very perceptive of you Hanyou." A very dark voice came through the brush, followed by a tall dark male.

Inuyasha jumped, his body spun around till his eyes were glaring at the male. "WHO ARE YOU AND WHAT DO YOU WANT?"

"Good afternoon, your looking very nice today...Kagome." The dark man said completely ignoring the hanyou

"Huh, how do you know my name, and, uh, t-thank you." Kagome spoke, a small blush forming on her cheeks.

"That's for me to know." he smirked, his eyes twinkling.

"HEY!!!! WHO THE HELL ARE YOU!!!" An irate hanyou hollered breaking up the conversation.

Breaking his gaze with the miko, the dark man turned his attention to the seething hanyou. "My name is Akihiko, and I have come here for one purpose and one purpose only, and that is to retrieve this rather odd beauty before me, move aside Hanyou, I have to return to my master, along with this beauty."

"NARAKU!!" Inuyasha's grip on the hilt of Tetsusaiga

"Again, very perceptive of you."

"WHATEVER, YOUR NOT TAKING KAGOME ANYWHERE, AND SEEING HOW YOU ONE OF NARAKU'S OFFSPRING, YOU WILL DIE HERE."

"Not likely." Akihiko said with a smirk.

"This is not good Miroku, tell me you have heard of Akihiko, the love demon that supposedly disappeared around 20 years ago." Sango whispered to the monk who was paying deep attention to the scene in front of him.

Not breaking his eyes off the demon Akihiko, Miroku answered, "Yes, I do remember, it seems that Naraku has captured Akihiko. This is not good for Kagome, I think it would be best for her to get out of here, before Akihiko's presence starts to affect her, that might be disastrous for us, even more so to her." But before anything could be done, demon warriors as well as Naraku's poisonous insects surrounded the crew of shard hunters.

"Attack..." Akihiko's deep voice ordered. The demon warriors pounced on all the members of the group with the exception Kagome.

"KAGOME!!!" Inuyasha screamed after he pushed all of the Youkai warriors off of him. He got no answer. "KAGOME!!!!!!" Still no answer.

"MIROKU, WHERE'S KAGOME?" Inuyasha screamed over the sounds of battle.

"I DON'T KNOW, BUT WHERE IS AKIHIKO!!" Miroku's voice boomed back.

"THAT BASTARD!! HE TOOK HER!!", Inuyasha all but screamed noticing that Akihiko was gone too. "HURRY YOUR ASSES UP, WE NEED TO FIND HER BEFORE HE BRINGS HER TO NARAKU!"

~~~ with Kagome ~~~

"LET ME GO!"

"I don't think so my little miko", came a ominous voice from behind Akihiko, " Akihiko, you have done well."

"Thank you master, and I must say, she is a rather delectable young girl, if she wasn't taken by you, I would have taken her for myself."

Kagome's eye twitched in realization. "WHAT!! IM NOT TAKEN BY HIM, I'M NOT TAKEN BY ANYONE."

"That's where you wrong my miko, you are taken by me, and at this moment, no one is at a position to stop me."

"UH, ya there is, and that would be ME!!!!" she yelled as she struggled against Akihiko.

Naraku chuckled, "Your not going to be complaining in a short time, Akihiko, time to do your thing."

"Yes master Naraku." Akihiko said, placing a furious Kagome on the ground.

Kagome's eye twitched again. "What is he going to do? HEY! HANDS OFF" She yelled at Naraku, who had wrapped his arms around her.

"STOP MOVING!" He demanded loudly in her ear. Wincing from the sound, Kagome stopped her movements. "Good miko. Now, Akihiko has something to give you."

Kagome looked at Akihiko who had a large glowing ball floating in-between his hands.

"WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?!" Kagome asked, obviously alarmed.

"THAT, my bride, is our love."

"WHAT!!!!!!"

Well, that's the end of that chapter. Hmmm...guess what's gunna happen, and whats with the big floating ball, what the hell is it really, hmmmmmm? Something to think about, eh. MUHAHAHAHA. LoL.

I do have the 3 more chapters for this done, just have to correct them all. Update will be sooooon.
