Cold

"Kagome!"

Inuyasha's voice brought echoes in this land of Ice. Just when they were about to find a jewel shard a demon seperated him and Kagome and the others."Damn!" Inuyasha blocked his superior eyesight. "Lord Inuyasha! If we dont find the rest of the group well freeze!" Myoga was rubbing himself warm in his haori. "I know that!" Inuyasha then noticed that the snow was getting deeper and the temperature going colder. "Inuyasha, humans arent adapted to this kind of weather! They could die!"

Inuyasha ignored the flea. For a good reason too. He couldnt stand the thought one of his friends being turned into an icicle. The wind became more and more harsh creating a tree to fall. Inuyasha jumped and tried to look over his surroundings, but nothing. It was all one big white land with a freezing temperature. "Kagome!" Inuyasha heard his echo through the icy field. "Kagome!" Inuyasha screamed again for Kagome. Inuyasha knew he could withstand the cold. However Kagome was human, and that girl could just freeze and be an ice sculpture. No he couldnt think like that! It was all that demons fault! That stupid little twerp could control the weather! His blue haired head would be chopped off by Inuyasha if it werent for the ice!

Another gust of wind blew him off his course.Letting Inuyasha yell for his companions. "Curse you Hielo!!!"

In Kaede's hut was a warm comfortable fire that warmed the souls around them. "Lady Kaede is there not anything we can do?" Miroku couldnt help but worry about his lost companions. Shippo kept his opinions to himself.Kaede shivered from the gust of air that blew into the hut."I dont know monk. All we can do is trust Inuyasha. For he can withstand this blizzard far better than a human." A knock interupted their conversation. Kaede immediatly opend the hut to let an almost frozen Sango inside. "Sango!" Miroku rushed to he side while Kaede let the cold stay out.Sango's whole body was shaking from the cold. "She is going to need alot of blankets." Kaede rushed to get some thick blankets. "Sango say something!" Sango fell into the monk's arms. Miroku felt like he was holding a huge ice cube. "Sango!"Shippo cried.

Sango's lips were turning blue and her body was still shivering. Kaede came back with the blankets. Miroku moved some of their belongings to create room for Sango. "Kaede what are you-"

Kaede was un clothing Sango's uniform. "Turn around monk!" Miroku did as he was told. Then the monks thoughts turned dirty. "Are you sure you arent need of assistance?"Miroku offered. Shippo and Sango both threw an object at him. "D-d-dont y-you dare monk!" Sango shivered. Shippo realized there wasnt much firewood left. "Lady Kaede the fire!" Kaede went out to get some fire wood from outisde since the blizzard seemed alittle more calm. "Ill be back warm up Lady Sango and make sure she gets somthing warm!" Kaede went out to look for fire wood. "Hey im coming! Im gonna go see if there are any survivors!" Kaede nodded in response. All that was left was a frozen demon hunter and a perverted monk.

"Sh-shippo! D-dont leave me with this monk!" Sango panicked. Miroku came closer to Sango. "S-Stay away!" Sango coulndnt find any objects to throw at him. Miroku began to get rid of some of his clothes. "Wha-What are you doing!?"

Miroku only had a night shirt on left. His warm hands made it to Sango's forehead. "Do you know how worried I was!?" Sango was taken back by his voice. Miroku snuggled next to Sango and he could feel her icy skin stick to him. "Get away!" Sango slapped him and tried to escape. Try as she might Miroku wouldnt let go of her. "Sango for once think rationally! Think of your self for once!" Sango was shocked be Miroku's words, "I dont care if you slap me till I die! What matters is your life! If you give out on me I swear I will never forgive you!" Sango could feel warmth rise to her body including her cheeks. "Please." Miroku rubbed her arms to create warmth. Sango snuggled closer to the monk which suprised him.

"If you promise not to touch me in any perverted way then maybe ill get better." Sango burried her face on his chest. "I promise by the hole in my hand that causes my death!" Sango couldnt help but smile in her sleep. "Just this once." Sango and Miroku both fell into a peaceful sleep with smiles on their faces.

Out somewhere in the cold snow was Kagome trying to find shelter. The snow was already up to her knees. Infact she was wearing her uniform! The back pack wasnt helping either. Luckily she found an abandond wolf demon's cave. Kami was so nice! Kagome rushed in and found her self getting dizzy. Her legs gave out when she was inside the cave. She just so happend to land on wolf fur. Kagome tried her best to reach into her back pack to see if the blanket was still in there. Kagome pulled out a few of her text books and a bunch of other necesities including her blanket. "Th-thank goodness!" Kagome wrapped herself in the blanket but she still was cold. However things got colder when Sesshoumaru was in the mouth of the cave holding a freezing Rin in his arms.

"Se-Seshoumaru!" Kagome almost fainted. In front of her could be the last beautiful person she would see. Gold emotionless eyes watched her shivering form. "Get out." He commanded in a voice that would kill her. Kagome hoped she would see the light of day.
