Kagome came rolling to a stop. She looked up over her shoulder and could hear Inuyasha yelling her name loudly. Naraku and his men

again had attacked her group. She was in no mood to be happy. She was angry, dirty, and tired. She looked down at the ground and placed her

hand on the small jewel that rested upon its surface. She looked up from the ground and saw a familiar cold face.

*Oh shit!*

Kagome got to her feet and ran towards the forest. She thought about the face. Bankotsu was the face she had seen and it scared her to

death. If he just saw her, she knew he would follow. He wanted the jewel. This time, she wished she were wrong. She felt a blast of energy behind

her and she fell, tumbling to the ground and rolled to a stop. She got to her feet and waited. There was no use in running.

"You run fast for a human, but not fast enought. You would have to be a demon to out run me." He started laughing. He stabbed his giant

staff into the ground and advanced on Kagome's small phrame.

"You want a demon Bankotsu, you get one!"

He stopped laughing and stared at her. She brought her hands together to form a hand gesture. Her left hand lay flat as her right on sat

atop it with her thumb and pointer finger pointing up. She just stood there doing nothing.

Bankotsu noticed that she started to glow a blue light. Suddenly, she clapped her hands and opened her eyes. In that moment, her eyes

turned red and she growled. Her ears came to points as her hair grew to her ankles. It was white with black strainds throughout it. Two black

stripes adorned her cheeks and a red color outlined her eyes. Her lips turned a cherry lush. Her clothing shredded into pieces and began to glow

the same blue light. It surrounded her body. She stretched out her arms and the light encased her and turned into a black kimono that had white

crescents on the sleeves and the bottom. A shiny black tail swished back and forth behind her.

She smirked up at him bearing her fangs. "Ready for me now?"

Everything faded.

Kagome awoke from her dream. Again she dreamed about becoming an inuyoukai. She was confused. She knew she was not a demon.

She was a miko. It just made no sense at all.

Kagome stretched and scratched her head. She emerged from her sleeping baga nd looked around. Sango was sleeping next to Miroku

who adorned a large red handprint on his smiling face. Kilal was curled up next to her adopted son, Shippo. Inuyahsa was asleep next to a tree

with an undead miko in his arms; Kikyo. She looked for the who was missing in action to find him gone. She went searching for him. She thought

about the time everyone joined the group, especially when Kikyo did.

(1 year ago)

"Kagome, everyone, Kikyo is going to join us and help Kagome find shards!" Inuyasha crossed his arms as Kikyo smiled at everyone.

"What? No! She is not welcome!" Shippo bursted out.

"I agree with Shippo Inuyasha. I mean, we have Kagome and this dead bitch has tried to kill us, including you many a time." Sango stood

there clutching her harikotsu.

"I believe it would not be in our interest to have her here." Miroku looked away.

This whole time, Kagome kept quiet. "Kagome?" Sango nudged her.

"Inuyasha, if she wants to join, she can, but I do not agree with your actions." Kagome walked away from the group.

(end flashback)

Kagome had given up on Inuyasha a year prior to her joining. She just really did not like Kikyo. She had tried more than once to keep

Kagome away from the Feudal Era.

Kagome was now locked here. About 5 months ago, Tsubaki, a dark miko, destroyed the well. Kagome cried but soon knew it could not

changed anything. She would always remember her family. She knew her duty and so did they. But what would she do when her duty is done?

Kagome finally reached the hot springs that she and Shippo found earlier. She saw the man she was looking for laying with his head

towards the sky and his eyes shut. She walked over and kneeled down and saw a few sake bottles next to him.

"You shouldn't run off like that Sesshomaru."

Sesshomaru looked at at Kagome. He closed his eyes once again. "I do as I please."

She sighed and wrapped her arms around herself. "I do not think I will ever understand you." She got up to leave when an arm pulled her

into the hot water.

"You should get in if you are cold." He looked down at the girl in his arms. He remembered the deal they made a few months back.

(few months back)

"What are you talking about?" Kagome backed away.

"I will help your group against Naraku but I want something in return Kagome." He cornered her.

"Fine. Anything you want." She sighed and knew she would regret this.

Sesshomaru placed his finger under her chin. "Never deny me of what I want. You will belong to me." He pulled her into a heated kiss.

She found herself dazed from his lips on hers and she clenched her fists. He traveled down her neck to the junction between her shoulder and

her neck. He slowly bit down only to puncture a small bite mark in her next and he felt her jump.

"What is this?!" She reached up and felt it.

"It is proof you belong to me. No other will touch you now. It is a claim mark." He laughed when he saw her face crumble.

(end flashback)

Sesshomaru had to continue biting the spot in order to keep the mark there. It wasn't a mate mark so it disappeared every 3 weeks.

Kagome held onto his shoulders and noticed her white kimono was not hiding a very cold Kagome. "I will just be going now..." She was

pulled back into the water. "Sesshomaru?!"

"How long?" he stated.

"What?"

"When did you become mine?" He wanted to here her say it and he kissed her neck.

"I am only holding my end of the deal, but its been a few months I believe." She felt his arms wrap around her. "You are drunk, let go."

"I want you to be all mine." He had them on the ground in one swift motion and had her pinned with her kimono open. He started torturing

her with his tongue on her stomach and chest.

Kagome pushed him and was able to smack his face. He backed off and returned into the water. "You're drunk. For the sake of your

pride and status, I'll pretend this never happened." She walked back to the forest line. "You know that you can never love me, yet you say these

things to me and treat me that way."

"Why can't I love you?" He came near her staying in the water.

"Because.....I am not a youkai and you need a demon heir, not hanyou." She left with tears in her eyes.

Sesshomaru sighed. He knew he fell for her and was in love with Kagome no matter how much he denied it. His youkai inside screamed

at him everyday to mate her but he would not.

*Damn it Kagome!*

He exited the water and dressed heading back to the camp. He heard Inuyasha yelling at Kagome on where Sesshomaru was. Just

another normal day.
