Gone Part II'

150 years is a very long time, and I'd have to say... it can be rather lonely without the one you love.

It must be painful to be immortal... watching those all around you die and find peace, but you... you are cursed to roam the lands for eternity, searching for one who might be dead.

"Sesshoumaru..." He heard her voice moan. "I love you!"

Sesshoumaru opened his eyes slowly this time. Sorrow etched deep within his heart. He missed her. He needed her to be there with him. She was supposed to- she was supposed to be by his side forever. She was supposed to be there so he wouldn't have to face eternity all alone.

He rose from his sitting position with such grace, and continued down the path. Where he was going... he had no idea, but he would search for her forall eternity if he had to.

Lord Sesshoumaru roamed for a century and a half, going to every village not missing one.At firtshe would catch hints of her scent then it'd disappear as if it were teasing him. After a while he stopped smelling her all together.

If anyone blocked his path or got in his way... well... you know what happened.

He searched all over the western provinces, and being such a great land... it took him nearly 75 years to thoroughly search them.

During that time span... his mother died and his father became committed to another. Izayoi...

His younger half sibling was brought into the world and because of jealous and frightened humans... yet another person he held deep affections for died.

The last conversation he had with his father was an argument about the great Sounga and Tetseiga. His father had asked him if he had anyone to protect... and by that time Sesshoumaru had become so cold, his answer was no.

His father walked away that day... and he never saw him again.

"Don't worry dear sister... I'm sure everything will be alright."

Spoke a male voice.

"All we need to do is keep searching for Father like Mother said."

"Dear brother... we've been searching for him for a century now... it shouldn't be this hard to find him... from what Mother told us... you look just like him and he's some sort of lord. I mean come on! A lord!"

"I know sister, but it's harder than it seems." He responded

"With your sense of direction... or lack thereof, and my inability to see... we'll never find him. What if he's dead already!"

"Do- don't say things like that. We have to find him. We just have to..."

"What about uncle, brother?"

"What about him, huh? He's too busy dealing with his own problems and protecting himself... You've seen how he acts... he doesn't like to reason with anyone. I mean he totally went off when I had mistaken him for Father!"

"No... I haven't seen how he acts and you know very well I can't. And if we try hard enough... maybe he will help us find Father."

"You know very well what I meant when I said seen,and besides uncle refuses to believe that Father even had children. We'reolder than him so he really has never met Mother."

"I'm tired of this conversation brother... why don't you tell me what Mother looks like again."

"Of course..." He told her, and began speaking with hiseyes down cast,"she had the most beautiful blue eyes, and her smile would blind you. Her hair was a raven color and she had the most peach skin. She looked a lot like you sister. Only if you could see yourself... then you'd have the perfect vision of her. She was very beautiful... and when ever I look at you I remember the little time we spent with her, and I remember how much she loved the two of us."

The man youth looked up at his sister when he smelt the salty fragrance of tears. He looked in her eyes and saw water droplets falling from her lifeless amber eyes.

"Don't cry Himiko." He said pulling her into his embrace. "Please don't cry..."

Kagome had the children she was pregnant with... and they turned out to be twins. Since youkai pregnancies only last for 6 months they were born before Inuyasha.

The female twin was born with bad eyesight, and as she developed and grew more aware, her eyesight gradually got worse until she was no longer able to see.

Kagome had disappeared once more not leaving Sesshoumaru but her children behind this time.

During her first vanishing, it seemed that a great power had taken over her body. She had awoken all those years ago to find herself caged... captured if you will. She was there for 8 months trying to find an escape, with her two month old children. When she finally escaped she found peace at a village of humans.

She thought about Sesshoumaru daily but could do nothing except miss him... and hope that he'd find her... for she was in no condition to travel especially with two pups.

She spent her days caring and looking after her children... and then one day... she vanished once again... but this time to another realm... never to be seen again... and with a cruel twist of fate she had forgotten her wonderful memories.

Dream...

(Scene)

(It was an empty room... surrounded by a bright light, you could see nothing but two figures one female and the other male.)

"Sesshoumaru... Sesshoumaru," Called her calm gentle voice, "Sesshoumaru listen."

He looked at her with astonishment and his eyes lit up with joy... then he remembered that this was just a dream.

"Why do you torment me? Why do you visit my dreams and make me believe you are here with me when you really aren't! Why do you torture me? Do you know how badly I want to hold you close to me right now? Do you know that every night and day I hope that there's at least a little piece of you I can find somewhere? Why do you torture me so by allowing me to see your face and hear your voice... knowing that I won't wake up next to you?"

She looked at him with tears in her eyes and he looked at her with longing.

"There is something of great importance I need to inform you of. Our... children, are on there own and they search diligently for you each day. I cannot tell you where they are... but I can tell you their names.

They are twins so it's two of them, male and female. The youngest is Ryumaru Tai... our son, and the eldest is Himiko Dante'. She is... blind."

"Children? I- I have... children?" He asked in utter shock as he took five steps towards her. He reached out to her and pulled her to him.

"I miss you." He said softly.

"And I love you." She responded. "Know this... I will always be with you in your heart... and..." She said with a soft smile as she pulled away from him, "we shall see each other again in the near future... but you must give me time, I will not remember you... or our children so... please be patient."

His eyes began to water as he watched her fade... and then he smiled realizing that there was still hope...

End Dream

Sesshoumaru awoke with a new mission in mindhe had to accomplish. He had children, and by all means he was going to find them.
