Chapter one: Heart Broken

Kagome sat at the bar drinking her long island ice tea as she watched people mainly couples dance on the dance floor and thought of the past couple of days.

FLASHBACK

Kagome couldn't stand it anymore! sesshomaru had been late for basicly every single thing they had planned to go to with each other and if he wasn't late he just didn't show up! kagome sighed as she thought of her plan once agian. Sesshomaru had called her cellphone and told her he had to stay late at his company and do some more paperwork and told her to have a good time and that he'd meet up with her later. kagome sighed once agian as she drove down the highway towards his company. Kagome pulled into the parking lot and found a spot close to the door and parked. Kagome jumped out of the car and walked towards the front door of the 1000 ft skyscraper. The security guards reconized her and let her through. Kagome walked into the building and strait to the elevator. The elevator doors opened and kagome waled out of the tiny space and onto the top floor of the skyscraper and as queitly as she could walked to the heavy gold door of sesshomaru's office.kagome had finally opened the door and looked inside to see sesshomaru her BOYFRIEND kiss his assistant kikyo!

Sesshomaru looked up and saw his girlfriend kagome at the door and pushed kikyo away and started walking toward her but for every step that he took kagome took one backwards. finaly having enough of this knowing it was getting him nowhere he said. " kagome.............it's not what it seems i promise."

Kagome didn'tlisten to him as she turned and ran towards the elevator and just in time the doors opened and closed.

Sesshomaru watched as kagome dissapeared into the elevator and turned to glare at kikyo now standing outside his office door.

Kagome ran out of the building and into her car. She sat in the drivers seat as it finaly hit her what had happened and thought.' he'd probably been oing this everytime he was staying late to finish ' work ' ' that was it kagome couldn't take it anymore that was that last thought had done it what if he had been with kikyo the whole time he was at work? what if they had gone farther than kissing? kagome broke into tears as she banged her hands on the steeringwheel.

END FLASHBACK

Just thinking about it made her want to cry agian. When kagome had finaly gotten home that night she had ran to her bedroom and cried. She cried hugging her pillow. She cried tugging the sheets. She cried while eating. She cried while bathing. She cried on the phone. The worst part was when sesshomru would call her everyday at least two times. after the fifth day of this though sango, ayame and rin had taken her out to a club with their boyfriends where she was now drinking her now half gone long island ice tea.

Sango looked over at kagome as she was dancing with her boyfriend miroku. she was worried kagome had been crying for five day strait she cried on the phone while she was talking to people, it was getting insane andsango just wanted to wring out sesshomaru's neck.

Ayame looked at sango to see her distracted with something and turned her head to see what she was looking at and saw kagome sitting there looking at her now empty long island ice tea.

she to had been woried when she had taken kagome out for lunch she had started crying the minute she looked at a menu, ayame just wanted to claw sesshomaru's throat open.

Rin looked at two of her bestfriends and turned to see what they were looking at and saw her last best friend order another long island ice tea. Rin was really worried about kagome because when she invited kagome over for the night she cried herself to sleep and cried during her sleep.

Rin didn't want to kill sesshomaru since he was one of her friends but she did want to yell his ears off but rin had no doubt that sesshomaru was feeling the same way kagome was because he loved her, she knew because he told her himself.

A girl no one knew in there group walked towards kagome.............................
