Stories of a new guy.

Hi my name is Kagome Higurashi and I go to Sukiyami High School, I'm 17 and I'm a junior. So this is a story of my life, but first let me tell you a little about where I live and the people I know.

First, I live in the year 2005; I'm a Youkai, well a Miko Youkai if you wanna be technical. You see humans in this era know that there are Youkai who are still alive. The Youkai don't hide like they used to any more, but we still use our concealing spells anyway. Most of my friends are Youkai as well, actually the school that I go to is full or Youkai and Mikos, there are only a few humans but we don't bother them. My friends are Sango, my best friend, Miroku,(him and Sango have a thing goin on but they wont admit it) Ayame, one of my other good friends, and Kouga, he used to be really obsessive about me until Ayame came.

So lets start the story already ok, oh and there are a few more people I know but I don't hang out with them cuz they're too preppy or slutty.

It was the middle of the second week of school and my classes have just gotten more and more boring. I sat there in English class almost half asleep already waiting for the bell for lunch to ring when I heard Sango whispering in my head.

'Why do you have to do that when I'm not paying attention?" I asked her. ( I might not have told you but us Youkai can talk telepathically with each other)

( A/N: oh and when the things are ' then " that means they're talking telepathically, but when its " and " that's regular ok? Ok)

'What you want me to talk out loud?" she said.

'Never mind, so what is it?"

'Oh yea, I heard there is goin to be a new guy tomorrow"

'OK,"

'You don't even want to know a little about him?"

'Fine tell me all you know"

'OK well-"

Just then the bell rung and we were dismissed for lunch.

"Oh kami I'll tell you at lunch" she said as we walked out the door.

We walked to our lockers to put away our books where we saw Ayame and Kouga waiting for us, and I guess they found a good way to pass the time cuz they were making out on my locker.

"Get a room please, and while you're at it, GET OFF MY LOCKER"

"Oh, I, uh ... we were just...uhhh...waiting for you guys" said Ayame.

"Yea sure you were" said Sango.

We some how made it to lunch on time, and when we walked in my ears were flooded with peoples talk and gossip about this new guy who wasn't even here yet.

"What is it with these people and their gossip, the dude isn't even here yet" I said to no one in particular.

"Hey that guy that you're talking about, he lives in our neighbor hood. He moved in like a few days ago, he's really hot" said Ayame.

"Hey what about me!?!?!" whined Kouga.

"Aww, your cuter" she said then gave him a hug.

"So what were you telling me earlier?" I asked Sango.

"Oh yea, well the guy is an Inu-Youkai , and he's like really strong."

"How do you know?"

"I was at Ayame's house the day he moved in, his aura looked really powerful. I think he has a brother, I checked his aura too, and he wasn't very strong kinda wimpy really"

"Oh "was all I had to say, I was pondering on how he was an Inu-Youkai. Not many of them were still around, not saying that they don't exist anymore, but it's just that here in Kyoto you don't hear about many Inu-Youkai and now there was one coming to this school. 'This should prove to be and interesting year.' I thought.
