"Why? WHY!?" kagome screamed to who ever was listening. 'Why did he do it? WHY THE HELL DID HE DO IT!' Kagome thought to herself before she fell unconscious on the ground.

"Shesshoumaru-sama!" a young girl said cheerfully while attaching herself on the left leg of the lord.

"Rin" Shesshoumaru said a bit softer then his normal emotionless voice with others. Just then a scent hit his nose full force. blood was what registered his mind. Blood of a very powerful demon at that. 'What could have injured such a powerful demon?' Shesshoumaru thought to himself. He quickly decided to go look on what could have cost the demon to lose so much blood for his curiosity was getting the better of him.

"Jaken we leave now" Shesshoumaru said while putting Rin on Ah-Un and turning to leave.

"But my lord..." Jaken said but was cut off by Shesshoumaru casting a cold glare to his direction.

Jaken sighed, he knew better then to question his lord so quickly followed him to where ever his lord would be going.

After what seemed to be like an eternity she finally woke up. But that was short-lived because she soon found herself begging to go back to sleep.

For everything she had forgotten came now crashing to her. She looked down to find her once mortally wounded body in perfect shape which confused her greatly. Yes, she was a powerful youkai but after fighting Inuyasha so long she was sure she was going to die of tiredness. She remembered Inuyasha's betrayal. She remembered her being forced to kill him and in the process getting mortally wounded with the blows they had thrown each others way for one week as neither one of was backing down for nothing. She remembered his lifeless body on the ground, still holding something. it was the Shikon no tama. The cause of everything in her life and now also 'his' death. Kagome was so caught up in her thoughts that she hadn't smelled, heard nor felt the presence of a powerful demon coming her way. until she was brought back to reality by an emotionless voice a view feet of where she was kneeling.

Shesshoumaru had watched as the beautiful creature in front of him was obviously thinking about something if it didn't even smelled, heard, feel nor saw him now that he was in seeing range. But upon better inspection you could see a shield protecting the demoness inside. He could also see the battle she was having within herself because he could smell the saltiness of her tears beginning to form in the young, beautiful and strong demoness in front if him. He had to admit that the girl was strong for if it was any other demoness they would have most likely already would have broken down to tears. Yet she did not, he immediately felt some sort of respect towards the girl for her bravery and strong will to not let her emotions take control over her. After he was done with mentally complimenting her he decided to brake the silence that hung thick in the air. Almost uncomfortable.

"What wounded you" Shesshoumaru said more as a statement then a question.

Kagome looked up to find the taiyoukai of the west in front of her so she quickly rose to her feet and replied with an emotionless voice.

"Inuyasha"

Shesshoumaru had to hold on to his pride so he wouldn't gasp. But he was in total shock although looking at his face would not have been the case that he was shocked. 'How could that half-breed been that powerful as to give her such a hard time?' Shesshoumaru thought but was cut off when he heard the demoness speak again.

"He's dead, he fell by my hands"
