Prologue

Hey guys this is my second fic.! Wahoo! Well any way I just wanted to remind you to plz review! Thanx well on with the show! (or story J)

*Prologue*

Long ago in medieval times Japan was divided into four sections; The Northern lands, The Southern lands, The Eastern lands, and The Western lands. All were equally divided but the Eastern lands were the most powerful.

The Eastern lands king, King Higurashi, was the most elder but powerful of all the rulers. Closely following in power was King Masaru, who ruled over the Western lands. The King of the Northern lands was King Senaka. Then last but not least was King Garou of the Southern lands.

Each King ruled wisely over his territory and each found a woman to be their Queen. About a year later King Masaru had a son and named him Sesshomaru. A few weeks later King Senaka also had a son which he named Naraku. Next, King Masaru had another son named Inu-yasha. Following that was King Garou who had a son and named him Kouga. Finally King Higurashi had his heir, but it surprised everyone when it turned out to be a girl. Although most Kings would have been mad for not having a strong healthy boy to carry on their name King Higurashi was ecstatic. He named her Kagome which means pure white light and treated her like she herself was the king.

Seventeen years later when Kagome was seventeen her father decided it was time for her to be wed. He received three letters from each kingdom asking for her hand in marriage. Not only was this frustrating to the king it also was a hard time for his daughter.

Kagome knew none of the men who wanted to marry her. She grew up in the Eastern lands her whole life and never visited the other castles.

Her father saw how sad she was and decided to throw a ball in her honor and invite each princes so that she may get to know them before he makes his decision. Kagome agreed to his terms and her and her mother planned out the whole thing.

And so our story begins………….

ookami715: yeah you heard him! lol ^_^ anyway just in case you were wondering where the heck I came up with Garou as Kouga’s last name it’s because Garou means hungry wolf. I was just gonna put wolf as his last name but that would be using my pen name.
