Memories of A Stranger
My day went by slowly, and it still wasn't over. My head seemed to pound with every one noise, yet it encourages me to think over everything I do, for I hear it all. Every breath, every murmur, every tremble; everything. But then I look into their eyes, and everything I hear is forgotten. The eyes tell a story, and they chose me to tell it.
I look around the classroom, trying to avert my eyes from everybody's in the rooms. It works for awhile, till my teacher pulled me from my thoughts.
"Ms. Higurashi?" I only nodded, looking behind her to the chalkboard, reading the notes I so carelessly had missed, "You are wanted in the office, Seems we have a new student, and you are to give him a tour. Though why he came this late in the day...."
I gathered my stuff as I set off to the office. I really didn't mind the whole new student thing, it's just... when someone meets me, they tend to look me in the eyes, and I end up doing the same. So... I judge people quickly, though ninety-nine point nine percent of the time it's accurate.
Opening the door to the office, I asked quietly, "You wanted to see me?" Though I knew why I was there in the first place.
The principal, Ms. Kaede, appeared. "Yes, you were. But you're not in trouble, dear. Don't fret. We have two new students, Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha Aori. Sesshoumaru is in your grade and Inuyasha a year behind. You will be giving Sesshoumaru a tour of the school, as well as be his guide for the day. Your younger sister, Kikyo, will be doing the same with Inuyasha. I have already called Kikyo down and sent her and Inuyasha on their way," she paused briefly to look at the door, "Sesshoumaru, you can come in now, " she called, then turned back at me, "I've something to take care of. I trust you two to get along."
"We will, Ms. Kaede. Take care," I told her politely, gazing at her, but once again, not meeting her eyes.
She bowed her head gently, "You too, Kagome." And with that, she left. Leaving me alone with the person who had unknowingly came upon me.

"So, you must be Sesshoumaru," I said. Though I knew the statement must have sounded stupid, it was the only thing I could think of at the moment, for he entranced me.
Sesshoumaru had the longest silver hair, and when it caught in a certain light... it seemed... almost... pale blue. His skin was lightly tanned, almost white, but there wasn't a flaw within it. It was perfectly smooth. And Sesshoumaru's body was well built, I had to say that. He wasn't too muscular, and definitely not wimpy. I would have though more, but his voice snapped me out of my thoughts.
"It would seem," was all that he said. Cold, emotionless. If that were to make any sense. Thing is, before he spoke, the way he had composed himself caught me. It was so.... arrogant, to say in the least. But now.... I could only wonder, what would cause a person to be so cold?
I know I was going to regret what I did next. I know I was. But... something in the depths of my mind told me I should do it. So I did.
I looked into his eyes.
Golden orbs bore back into mine for no more than five seconds, then, I was collapsed into a world that few visit.

~Dreamscape~
"Father? Father? What are you doing?" a young voice called. I looked around. It seemed to have came from a little boy around six years old. He looked like....
"Sesshoumaru...." I breathed, as an older man, in what looked like his mid-twenties, his hair in a white hair like his son's, in a high ponytail, turned. By the looks of him, Sesshoumaru's father.
The man looked at him with stern, yet curious eyes. In a alternate reality, I can look without the effects of collapsing. Thankfully....
"What do you mean, son?" the man's voice was smooth, knowing, secretive.
Sesshoumaru clutched his fist to his chest, his head down in sadness. "Why were you with that other lady, father? That's not mother!" The small boy snapped his head up, yelling at his proclaimed father.
"I know, son, but," the elder man paused, thinking of his words carefully, "Your mother has decided to go on a trip for a long time... and I..." he gulped, "I don't know if she's coming back."
Sesshoumaru looked at his father with infinite sadness. "But... but Mother wouldn't leave me!" the tot cried.
The older version of Sesshoumaru turned his head, almost in shame it looked, beginning to walk away, but before he does, listen closely enough you'd hear him whisper,
"Sorry, Sesshou."
The dreamscape suddenly changed with a whirl of color. I closed my eyes, shielding them from the lights surrounding me, so as not to be blinded. Knowing full well that what happens to me in a dream, can carry on to you in the real world.
When I felt it was safe to uncover my eyes, I saw a teenage-looking Sesshoumaru, walking into a high school.
"Oi! I haven't seen you around here before. What's your name?" a teen boy, with similar characteristics to Sesshoumaru, yelled.
Sesshoumaru turned gracefully, his stoic face staying. "Sesshoumaru...." he paused, looking the boy over, "... Aori."
He looked triumphant for getting the boy's name, speaking his own, "I'm Inuyash- hey! That's my last name! How'd you get it?!"
"Well, it seems that our father was cheating on my mother. Considering that she died all but two years ago," Sesshoumaru said, his voice beginning to lose its calm.
Inuyasha's shock was apparant as Sesshoumaru explained the tiny tidbit of him having a brother. "So... I have a... brother?"
"Half-brother, you imbicile. We may have the same father, but our mother's are completely different, I assure you. Now, if you don't mind, I have more important things to do than have bitter chit-chat with people who don't deserve it." Sesshoumaru ended the conversation, his venomous voice lingering in the air, as well as a stunned and angry Inuyasha in his tracks.
~End of Dreamscape~
My eyes began to open, the light overhead temporarily blinding me. As I gained my sight, I looked around me, taking in my surrounds. I was in the nurse's office. I began to sit up, when I was pushed back by a weight on my chest. I looked down, only to see Sesshoumaru.
